He was confirmed to be a member of the canonical family during the early Cult Family Rebirth creation. He is mostly an unknown character returning with EmmettCult after his disappearance. ==Biography== Joshua's early life is vastly unknown, it can be inferred that his past was traumatic as he never talks about it with other people. It is known that during his childhood however, he was forced to kill his own cat by his father likely sprouting his feelings towards taking care of animals. It is known during this time he took up dirt biking as a hobby. Also during his time he would grow an attachment to his teddy bear. (this could be because, of his mother who has been confirmed to be deceased) Presumably, when he grew up he got away from his father he would actively dirt bike in the bayou. During this time he would hear Emmett's screams in the bayou leading him to finding and rescuing him from his fate. After this, it is known him and Emmett lived together for a long while. Joshua has recalled that Emmett talked about his near-death experience with Martin so it is assumed during this time they became close. After an unknown time Emmett and Joshua returned to the family likely because of Emmett. It can be inferred he earned his mask by saving Emmett's life. However, it is also a possibly his attachment of his mask already was enough to "earn" it. After the destruction of the Louisiana Manor, him and Jason would set up to find a place under unknown circumstances. They would find a river house and settle down there, during this time Joshua befriended a gator and kept it as a pet. It is known they chose to live at the Home base rather than the Homestead. Later on after settling down it was revealed that Jason and Joshua have therapy-like sessions, after taking off his mask he could be seen extremely paranoid a contrast to what had been seen before. ==History== Joshua's account was made on 7/2/2012, he was one of the earlier made accounts along with a few others currently in the Cult Family. No interactions were made with the classic Cult Family during this time. During April of 2013, Joshua would make a few forum posts obviously not related to Cult Family, it is assumed that the original owner made these forum posts while potentially being banned on their main account as some of the language used could be considered obscene. It is unknown if Joshua had further activity past this. In 2019, the account became active along with Nick, Jason, John, and Will. The use of the account at this time was limited and was used for a side project titled "The Old Family". The purpose of this project was to incorporate the older members of the Cult Family in a new storyline. In 2020, he was not featured in the early video with Flamingo unlike the other new members. During the Rebirth era he became extremely active becoming involved with the Cult Family after Emmett's return. During this time his game would be privated and his avatar would change slightly, he would have custom clothes made and two versions of his avatar: unmasked and masked. He would be seen tagging along various members at this time and at Sanctuary with David and Emmett. His character during this time was vastly unknown. During the year of 2021, Joshua would see activity especially in the middle of the year when him and Jason began the Home base project. It was revealed that after the events of Emmett's return he was living with Jason in a river house in the bayou. Later on it was established he had taken up residence in the Homestead as well. ==Appearance== JoshuaCult wears the Roblohunk Hair, beige shirt and pants, as well as the Tired Face with a Dark Camo Paintball Mask. ==Personality and Traits== ===Mask On=== Joshua can be seen being passive-aggressive he tends to speak rarely to other people. He does however, have emotions although he doesn't show it. With his mask on he tends to be more shut in, it could be seen as a coping mechanism as he's only this way when he wears it. ===Mask Off=== Without his mask he has a complete opposite personality, he opens up to others and it can be seen he wears glasses. Normally, if he takes off his mask he starts to freak out until he eventually puts it back on. His feelings and emotions are more clear and he starts to open up about his trauma and his past. ==Game== All that remains (Private) ==Groups== Cult Family Rebirth ==Relationships== ===EmmettCult=== These two were extremely close during Emmett's disapperance, it is unknown now what kind of relationship they have due to Emmett's isolation. ===JasonCult=== Jason and Joshua have a passive-aggressive friendship. Jason tries his best to help Joshua out with his drinking problem and his dark cloud of memories however, they tend to be aggressive towards each other. (although it is unknown if it is true aggression) Due to them living with each other it can be inferred they became close after Joshua joined the family after returning with Emmett. ==Theories== ===His teddy bear was from his mother:=== *He has an emotional attachment to it and apparently keeps it with him wherever he goes. * He lists it as a keepstake. ==Trivia== *Joshua has a cat called "Queenie" *Joshua is 5'10" *Joshua has a pet alligator named "Princess" ==Gallery== TBA ==References== JoshuaCult's Roblox Profile JoshuaCult's Forum Posts == Further Reading == Cult Family Rebirth The Cult FamilyThe Cult Family
