It was a highly popular group in 2020, due to Flamingo making a video on and documenting it. Despite this, the story behind the myth was never actually properly found out about. On January 27th, 2022, the group was officially closed, and is no longer active.

History
GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS was created on April 4th, 2019 by LordBeelzebub. GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS was described as Lord's "Kingdom", composed of followers, servants, close allies and family members of Lord.
On January 21st, 2020, Lord created a second group, "Thy Hall of Watchers", to train staff. This group was abandoned in mid 2020, and all operations were transferred to GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS.
The group and myth became popular in early 2020 when Flamingo made a video on Lord's game "THE CASTLE", followed by him joining the group. Both GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS and THE CASTLE were known to be a popular meet-up place for the myth community, as well as hosting some myth community events, as well as some of it's own events. The group was also known to have many famous people in it as it's members. The game "THE CASTLE" was originally found on Lord's profile, but later on, around July 13th, 2020, the game was rebuilt and moved to the group. All formal activities were transferred to this game. An archived version of the castle from early 2020 was reuploaded to it and renamed to "THE OLD CASTLE"
On September 13th, 2020, Lord announced his retirement on the myth to go and work on other projects. He then held a vote that lasted several weeks to decide who the next owner of the group would be. DenzelRogers won the vote and was handed the group on November 23rd, 2020.
On June 26th, 2021, Lord was exposed for grooming a 13 year old. Denzel created a new group on August 16th, 2021 named "AZNAUT CITADEL" and transferred all operations to the new group to remove past associations with Lord. Following this, GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS was shut down. AZNAUT CITADEL had a game for a short time, but was closed down after only being open for a few weeks.
On January 1st, 2022, the original GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS group was transferred to the account "SkinnyIconMegan", owned by a former staff member.
On May 7th, 2023, Denzel announced his retirement from the myth to move on to working on his original group, The Kirche Family. AZNAUT CITADEL was then handed to GU4RDIAN_MAX. The group has remained entirely inactive ever since.
Between 2024 and 2025, all remaining group members were removed from GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS, with the exception of four staff members.

Trivia
*LordBeelzebub always went by the name "Lord" even prior to changing his username.
*GATHERING OF FOLLOWERS previously sold staff uniforms and T-shirts as merchandise.
*The development of the castle first began back in May in 2018.
*THE CASTLE was originally a game hosted on Lords account but was later on rebuilt and hosted on the group.
*All games created by the myth have accumulated over 300k+ visits.
*The Architect role at some point was considered to be converted to a musician/bard role, and users with the rank would be given instruments to play classical music in the Castle. This plan fell through when the developer went on a river trip and couldn't complete it.
*The group was converted into AZNAUT CITADEL on 16/8/21 when Lord was exposed for grooming children.
*Almost every rank was deleted after the castle retired, virtually nothing now remains of the original group.
