When the player joins "The Smiles Household", they will be introduced to "Hallam Island" via a directional sign. The cutscene will then fade into "11/27/1994, Hallam Island, CT". The player will then arrive at the dock of the island with their boat. Ahead of them is another boat, and a path that leads to the small, almost lonely island that is "Hallam island". Among the sparse trees are two buildings, a garage and a house sitting at the top of a hill. Players are free to explore the island as they wish, but to progress, they are advised to head into the garage. Inside is a thumbtack board that hangs the pictures of young RobertSmiles and NancySmiles. Nearby, a collectible shovel hangs. This shovel can be used on "Cemetery Island", which can be accessed with the blue-stripped boat. Among the hundreds of graves on this island are the burials of NancySmiles and LeoSmiles. They can be found on the left side of the path with roses on them. Using the shovel, the player can dig up a chest from LeoSmiles' grave. Inside is a note that reads, "I keep the key to the cellar hidden in a safe within my office. The code to the safe is: 0191." The player should then return to the main island and climb up the hill to reach the house. In the front yard sits a flamingo decoration, a reference to [[mrflimflam]]. There are various rooms and decorations within the house, but the most important one is an interactive computer in the attic. Three papers written by RobertSmiles are accessible on the computer. They contain his thoughts which allows the player to learn about his mental state and the history of the family. Close by should be the safe mentioned in the note from the chest. It contains the cellar key. The cellar can be found outside on the right side of the house. Within this cellar sits a boiler, three newspapers, and some strange portal broken into the side of the wall. The three newspaper articles provide lots of information on the history of "Hallam Island". Touching the strange portal will teleport the player to "Poignant Reality". They will find themselves exploring what appears to be the past, as Robert and Nancy sit atop a hill having a picnic in this game. Beside them sits a lamp that flashes off and on. This signifies morse code, which can translate to "19368". It can of course be used on the safe. This action will teleport the player to "Rumbling Mountains". In this sub-game, an almost destroyed piece of land holds a cracked meteor and giant portal frame. Two giant red eyes watch the player from inside a cavern. In order to activate the portal, they must travel to three different hills with a pedestal holding an orb on each. Floating above these are long pieces of encoded text. Unfortunately, it is uncertain how to decode them but according to a Reddit post,https://www.reddit.com/r/RobloxMyths/comments/cl91wh/comment/l1i7ji6/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button it translates to base64 using a specific site with a key. Luckily, the three phrases were discovered at some point and need to be said in the following order: "It has arrived", "It is hungry", and "It will feed". Each phrase will cause a ball to power the portal, eventually activating it. The portal will teleport the player to "The Real Monsters". This will present the old Smiles Family home where RobertSmiles is drunk and speaking poorly towards his children. Another safe sits nearby with the code to it being "HNROVH", which is "SMILES" in reverse alphabet. Once it is entered in correctly, it will teleport the player to "Hall Of Nostalgia". Within this place, the player will have to walk along a valley until they reach a statue of Robert's head and a chamber door underneath it. If they say the word, "Overprotective", the door will open. Another door follows this where the phrase, "Life doesn't hate you, but it doesn't love you", is needed. It is unknown where exactly both of these phrases come from. Behind that door is a purple portal that finally teleports the player to the last game to "The Smiles Household". This game is named, "Safe At Last", and it features all three siblings in a room while [[DanStickman]] walks in. This is believed to be all of the discoverable content within "The Smiles Household".
