Who knows.'''|speaker = DIY Dark Dominus description}}'''Deadly Dark Dominus''' (also known as "''The Missing Dominus''") is a Roblox item that has a status considered mythical due there being a classic debate on whether or not it existed at all. It is now an actual Roblox item which could previously be unlocked by inputting the code that comes with the limited-edition Frostbite General toy from San Diego Comic Con in 2019. It is no longer available. == Description == The Dark Dominus belongs to the [https://roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Dominus_(series) Dominus item series], but unlike its other counterparts, does not have a Latin word following Dominus (e.g. [http://roblox.wikia.com/wiki/Catalog:Dominus_Empyreus Dominus Empyreus]). The Dark Dominus has a void aesthetic to it. It has a dark hood with weathered fabric. Like all Dominus', it has a full-black cover on the inside that masks the wearer's face. The Dark Dominus' rings also look weathered and have red spirals. They are bordered by the same black fabric as the hood. Finally, four feathers protrude backward from each ring in a folded fashion. The feathers get lighter in color, with the bottom of the feather closest to the hood having the darkest shade of crimson. The [http://roblox.wikia.com/wiki/Catalog:DIY_Deadly_Dark_Dominus DIY Dark Dominus] attempts to simulate the design of the Dark Dominus however it is painted onto a paper bag. This item was published on April 1, 2016 and has since been off-sale. As of June 14, 2019, the Deadly Dark Dominus has been reuploaded to Roblox as a [https://www.roblox.com/catalog/3154654707/Deadly-Dark-Dominus?rbxp=48103520 toy code item], which was available from San Diego Comic-Con 2019. Tinfoilbot came back to tell everyone he was right. == History == The first mention of the Deadly Dark Dominus dates back to May 2013, when Tinfoilbot uploaded a video titled "proof i am not lying!!!". This video featured "proof" of ROBLOX giving tinfoilbot 10,000,000 robux and the "Deadly Dark Dominus". Ingame it was shown to be black, with blue accents and yellow stars. This was not a real item and only a poorly made drawing. After this video the Deadly Dark Dominus became a long running joke in the community. On April 1, 2016, Roblox published a DIY version of the mysterious item. Its description joked about the item's existence, and even mentioned tinfoilbot and him possibly knowing the truth about the hat. Earlier that same day, an actual mesh and texture for the Deadly Dark Dominus was uploaded to the ROBLOX account. It is unknown if ROBLOX actually intended to create a Deadly Dark Dominus item around that time, or if it was just a red herring intended to troll players. On June 14th, 2019, ROBLOX uploaded an actual version of the Deadly Dark Dominus. It used a different texture than the 2016 version and was only obtainable through limited 2019 ROBLOX toy. == Theories == {{TBA}} == Trivia == * The item has been officially released by ROBLOX as a [https://www.roblox.com/catalog/3154654707/Deadly-Dark-Dominus toy code item] on June 14, 2019. **As stated by the Roblox wiki, there are only 28 known owners of the Deadly Dark Dominus due to it being limited to an exclusive San Diego Comic Con Roblox toy. == Gallery == File:DIYDom.png|The DIY Deadly Dark Dominus, released on April 1st, 2016.
