He would be under for years while his mother would worry about his safety eventually dying of unknown causes, during this dreamscape he would dream of a world where he would move his entire family to the Marseilles a city in France. During this move his father would be targeted by a woman named Aristherius and killed. The player would need to remind Dax to remember in order to wake him from his coma state and he would return to conscious, after this point his story continued to a new arc. After 10 years of being in this coma dream like state he wakes up and realizes that everyone he knew except for Cegnite has died or has left his life and decides it's time to move away from home and find somewhere new. Traveling along the train tracks Dax searches for a new place to call home while also trying to forget the burning memories that he had obtained over the years eventually hitting a dead end in his arc. It could be inferred he lived out his fantasy of going to Paris as a picture is seen in Aftermath. It is inferred during this period Dax found himself in the city in which like another myth DrMosen, the end of the world would occur leaving him in a wintery hell with nothing but ruined and ransacked buildings around him. This would begin Dax's new arc that has not been expanded on much other than he himself becoming more bitter towards the world itself. Dax is also known for his relations with Cegnite as they were childhood friends supposedly until they were split in the military. == History == DaxHaskett was created on January 1st, 2017. Not much is known about his myth until late 2017 with the creation of 'Center Piece' which was the original game he was known for. He came to a bit of acknowledgement after he achieved the Smaller/Upcoming rank in the last months of 2017 after Jenny_Feelings had favorited his game giving him a boost in popularity. During this time he would update Center Piece to include a linear story of a war veteran falling into a coma which would become the staple of his story. Dax became a major figure in the Smaller Myths community throughout 2018 being friends with many notable myths such as Activvity, Graled and Cognicide. Later on for a mysterious reason later explained by Dax as "letting someone else hold the strings" his place and legacy were closed until the beginning of 2019 when his places were re-opened with the same game as before. During this period he would update Center Piece to become Railroad Tracks which included a remade version of Center Piece as a place teleport. He would update the game a few times until eventually falling into inactivity. Later on in 2022, Dax would return to update the style of his games to be a more post apocalypse theme drawing obvious inspiration from the After the Flash series. == Appearance == DaxHaskett has white skin, the Red Flowy Anime Hair & Alt Wolf Cut in Red. He also has a Guitar Backpack, Black Cozy Scarf, Head goggles and the M50 Gas Mask. He also wears the "Alright..." face, and the "Wintertide" outfit. == Personality and Traits == Dax is reportedly blunt and sarcastic; he isn't afraid of expressing his thoughts towards a subject. However, under the assumption that he maintains the hideout in Aftermath, Dax also appears to be a somber individual. He seems to feel lonely in the wintry world, and his reflective character is clear when he realizes that he has become cold-hearted. There is a possibility that Dax may be dependent on alcohol and drugs, as shown by the glass bottles and pill bottles scattered in the Aftermath hideout. Glass bottles were frequently seen in his older games, and it is a trope in Western media for war veterans to struggle with life outside of military contexts. === Abilities === * Gun Proficiency == Games == === Aftermath === The game depicts an abandoned city in the middle of winter. There are ruined buildings and little signs of life, other than a hole in the red building. The hole can be reached by climbing up the ladder-like designs on the side of the building. This hole leads to a small hideout with a picture of Dax on the desk, Dax's guitar, a radio, a fire, some pill bottles, and some glass bottles. The radio is playing a barely understandable song. The wall has fourteen tally marks and the statement "when the world froze, my heart did too". The second floor of the hideout can be reached through diagonal wooden planks in the corner of the room, but there does not appear to be anything significant upstairs other than wooden furniture. Judging from the items inside, the hideout appears to be Dax's. === Late Night Forest Playing (unavailable) === The game shows Dax and Cegnite playing guitars together in a forest hinting to the relationship they had before Dax went into a coma. In a small cave is the ghost of his father confirming that his father was also dead in the real world. This game could be seen as a prequel to their relationship. === Railroad Tracks (unavailable) === Empty section === One night out of many (unavailable) === The game shows a room with Dax sleeping in a bed, while Cegnite stands in one of the corners of the room, playing his guitar. There is also a small replica of Jenny_Feelings standing on a shelf hinting to the old ties he had with her. == Theories == * The game Aftermath describes the reality of a nuclear winter, a consequence of worldwide nuclear war. ** The title of the game, "Aftermath", implies that some significant event occurred in Dax's life. ** The ruined buildings are reminiscent of a nuclear bomb's damage. ** The text on the wall of the hideout says that the "world froze", implying a worldwide winter scenario; this can be artificially induced by a nuclear war, according to theoretical science. ** The caption of the game is "It all happened at once, now the world feels lonely." There are implications that a sudden event wiped out the world's population and induced winter, so the prospects of nuclear winter seem likely. ** When the wall says that the writer's heart froze after the world froze, the author could be referring to the scarcity of resources that is a consequence of a disaster scenario. The writer could be forced to fend for themselves or be "cold-hearted." *DaxHaskett is in the same universe as DrMosen. ** Both are nuclear winter themed games with destroyed environments and obvious decay. The themes of the games are both drastically different environments with one being a motel in the middle of nowhere and the other being a city but the theme of apocalypse stays the same. **DaxHaskett and DrMosen both share the group Collaboration! which is known to include many inner-ties to the myths associated in the group. ==Trivia== in the barracks was the 1959 version of Jimmy Jones's "Handy Man", which may support the claim that Dax was a veteran of the Vietnam War. == Gallery == File:DaxHaskett Aftermath screenshot.png|This is a screenshot that shows what the inside of the hideout in Aftermath looks like.
