The game focuses mostly on Immortius and the Nephilim, as well as on events happened afterwards, such as the arrival of the doctors and the origin of Cure#4. ==Overview== In Ruina Eius de Nephilim, or The Fall of the Nephilim once translated, is a game created by Immortius. The game takes place in an unknown desert, where the player has to solve many riddles in order to progress throughout the place. The puzzles are related to Immortius' backstory and the fall of the Nephilim, and other elements presented in the place give the player hints on the events that happened thousands of years ago. If the player enters the game after completing “A L L” in the Mental Assistance Department game, the Eye of Immortius will be shown in their inventory. With this item, the player will be able to reach the last room where Immortius is chained, give him back the Eye and continue the story. Through the exploration, the player will also be able to find the story that happened afterwards, concerning the search of the doctors in a cure for immortality. After Bart_Montgomery has heard about immortal beings living in the desert, Ipiprix, the Head Doctor of the Department, will set up an expedition at the Nephilim Ruins, soon joined by Enrique_Graves. Resolving each riddle, they finally ended up by finding Immortius in his giant form, doomed to rot in chains for committing patricide and fratricide. They extracted his eye and experimented on it, thinking that the secret of the Nephilim's immortality resided in their blood. From these experiences, Cure#4 will be created, but will turn out to be a failure: instead of granting immortality as expected, the cure causes spontaneous combustion shortly after treatment, as the blood of a Nephilim makes a man burn. ==Walkthrough== The player spawns in a desert, surrounded by rocky mountains. The path on the left will lead to a dead end. Walking down the right way leads to a path where the player can either climb a skeleton and follow the rocks until finding a statue of the first Nephilim, or continue and jump from platform to platform to avoid falling into quicksand and reach the next area. The player will arrive at a shelter that turns out to be the outpost built by the doctors during their expedition. Inside, the same radio seen in Ipiprix's office in the department can be found, as well as some notes. On the first one located next to a bible, the words "Genesis 6:4 - I think we found them" are written. "Genesis 6:4" is a part of the real Genesis from texts such as the Bible, which mentions that "There were giants on the earth in those days". One of Ipiprix's and Bart’s sources for finding Nephilim is thus confirmed to come from religious texts. Another note reads "Eye of Immortius?", and the last one, next to the radio, reads "The first three fell short, perhaps Cure #4 will prove useful." The letter confirms the failure of the first three cures, and indicates the will of the doctors to pursue their research. A small cellar under the outpost is accessible with a ladder. There is a statue of the Eye of Immortius, and a note reading "To the others, immortality is little more than a myth. If only they knew..." Passing the outpost, the player can walk forward through the desert to get to the first door. It is locked and can be opened with a code. On the left of the door is a ghost of a guard with a platform in front of him. Stepping on it will present the player with a riddle: "What is the concept that all rulers seek, often leaving both their kingdom and humanity in ruin?" The answer is "Immortality". After passing the door and walking through an underground corridor lit with torches, the player ends up in a hall with gladiator statues in the middle. A little further on is the second door with another riddle: "The imprisoned warriors for one of the greatest rulers of the empire, Caesar." The answer is "Gladiator". Behind the door stands the riddle of the deadly sins: the seven warriors are each a symbol of Immortius' past. The player can talk to any of them to find out what they represent, except for the white one, whose body has been cut in two. The dialogue of each sin is mostly the same, except “acquire wealth” is replaced by something else related to the in. It goes as the following: “Sin: Though the beast mastered us all, one slipped. Player: Who are you? Sin: Instead of bending him to my will, he used me to acquire wealth, though it had no hold on him. Player: Which one was that? Sin: …” The orange warrior is greed, the green is lust, the blue represents wrath, the red is envy, the purple symbolizes greed, and the yellow is slowth. The white warrior thus symbolizes pride, and is the answer to the riddle: "Who of these 7 warriors was not bested by the beast?”.  After this third riddle, the player can finally go back outside and access the next area. Once outside, the player should walk forward and climb up the steep hill of rocks where they can find a small hole in the ground which they can fit through. The player will need to break down a brick wall to access a room filled with tips. The signs read: “The one with no limbs goes after the one with the most”, “The alligator is between the twins and their child.”, “The twins go twice.”, “The one who frolics in trees goes after the fish.”, “The creatures with the most legs goes first.”, “The turtle goes three after the fish.”, “This creature, safe in its shell, causes the lion to move on to the monkey in hopes of easier prey.”, and “A pure vegetarian goes last.” There are also two small notes on the floor in the room. The left note says “Means Enter” and the right one says “Means Clear”. Finally, the player can climb up the ladder after reading all of the writing for the upcoming puzzle. The player can then go towards the door with the next riddle. Once they get to the tablet, they should click the animals in the order, Centipede, Fish, Monkey, Lion, Turtle, Birds, Birds, Crocodile, Egg, and Grasshopper, and then enter it to open the door. On the other side of the door, the player can find a small pond and two huts. On the right of these huts is a wall that the player can walk through. Inside, there is a shape which is the first key for a door. Now, ahead of the player is a hill that has no way to climb up. The player will need to go towards the left corner of the area where they can find another hole. There, they can click a statue of the Eye of Immortius which will make pillars spawn above ground. The player can jump across these rocks to continue through the game. The second key is on top of the tower on their left. The third key is at the back of the area in the eye of a skeleton. The final key is on top of the building nearby. This building turns out to be a temple dedicated to the First Nephilim, the Father of Immortius, as stated in the latin text present inside: "Hic jacet primum nephilim. Immortius pater est. Victima patricidii." which once translated, gives: "Here lies the first Nephilim. Immortius' father. Victim of patricide." The skeleton seen earlier turns out to be the remains of the first Nephilim, Immortius’ father. This thus concludes that the skeletons seen around the place are most likely the remains of the other fallen Nephilim. Once all keys are collected, the player can use them to open the door that requires all four of them. On the other side of the door, there are two paths. The left path leads deeper into the cave where the player will need their flashlight to see. Eventually, they can come across another statue with some Greek written on it. The Greek translates to “The spiders in the tower made promises. These promises were false. I was promised strength if I killed my father. They lied.” Heading down the right path will take the player to the final door. Like before, standing on the platform will have the riddle appear on the player’s screen. The last riddle is “What crime is the immortal survivor guilty of?” and the answer to it is “Patricide. Once passed, the player can slide down a tunnel where they will arrive in a large room with Immortius chained up. If the player didn’t get the A L L badge, the rock bridge to access Immortius won’t be here, and the latin text: “Gratias meque oculis oculus! will show up, meaning “Give me back my eye!” once translated.  If, however the player completed A L L, he will say “I see you have headed my request, return my eye and I will assist you on your quest to take down those abominations. Nearby, there is writing on the wall from someone introduced later in the story that states “When the time comes, I’ll help you get your revenge.” The player should then walk down the small rock bridge to Immortius and give him his eye. Their screen will fade gray and the following text will slowly appear as they are teleported to Castaway: “Thank you Mortal. Now that you have returned my eye, I can return to the Tower of the Liars and have my vengeance. [The primordial giant breaks his shackles that bound him for eons] I have had many long centuries to ponder my mistakes. I was a fool to listen to them. Come with me, another one with the desire for vengeance will meet us there. [With his gigantic hand, he grasps your body and sits you atop his head. You have a bird’s eye view  of the surrounding land, as the Immortal being carries you to the next destination on your quest: A lone island sitting in the middle of the ocean]”. To collect all three of the gems, the player must check six total spawns, hidden around the desert. The first spawn is behind the statue near the player’s spawn. The second spawn is under the outpost near the start of the game, in a room accessible with a ladder. The next spawn is up the small hill of sand next to the outpost, accessible through a fake floor where they can climb down a ladder. The fourth spawn is in the helmet of the gladiator statue. The next spawn is on top of one of the cactuses before the animal puzzle. The final gem location is found through a fake wall somewhere in the room with the brick wall that is to be broken. Here, they might find a gem and also a note that reads “The note has hastily written ramblings about 'Jumping off the center in A L L.' Whoever wrote this should be avoided at all costs.” What the gems are used for remains a secret the players have to find by themselves. == History== In Ruina Eius de Nephilim was created on 4/7/2019 and was last updated on 7/11/2021. It received a large revamp that eventually led to many more game changes on 6/22/2020. ==Trivia== *In Ruina Eius de Nephilim was originally called “Searching the Desert”. *There’s a mindwalker apparition in every M.A.D related game. The one present within In Ruina Eius de Nephilim is located in the final room, behind one of the lava streams. *It has been confirmed that Corlonisk granted a gift to the Nephilim, thousands years ago. However, the nature of this gift is unknown. *Romans were the first to see the Nephilim’s bones and the ruins of the desert. == Theories== TBA ==Gallery== File:InRuinaGallery1.png|The statue of the first Nephilim with the phrase “The fall of the Nephilim” on it.
