The account was created in March 2011, and is based off of the Minecraft urban legend "Herobrine", which was created in July 2010. The account was created by MaximumADHD and was only active for a brief period, prior to going inactive for several years. Eventually, the account would be password-guessed in 2024, leading to the account briefly being active again.https://x.com/MaximumADHD/status/1830713512827531755 == Biography == Due to the nature of HEROBRlNE's account and game, he seemingly does not seem to have a story. == History == HEROBRlNE made their account on the 25th of March, 2011. Much of the account's early history is not well-documented, although, records of the account's forum posts do date back to July 2011, when HEROBRlNE created a forum post titled "Stop." Later on in August, HEROBRlNE created a model titled "The Soulsand V2".https://create.roblox.com/store/asset/60080058/ This model replicated the effect which was featured in the "Stop." game. In October 2011 HEROBRlNE created a model which was a replica of the Enderdragon boss from Minecraft.https://create.roblox.com/store/asset/64577933/ October was also when HEROBRlNE uploaded his first out of character forum post. Later on in 2012, the HEROBRlNE account started to seemingly be used as a regular account, as can be seen by the several badges and accessories on the account. On April 2012, HEROBRlNE had a large burst in activity on the forums. Later on in August 2012 HEROBRlNE created one final model prior to going inactive.{{Citation Needed}} After his inactivity began, he was noticed by the creepypasta and myth community. [[Jokerkid5898]], the owner of Robloxian Myth Hunters, found the game in 2012 after creating the group, which eventually led to HEROBRlNE being featured in two of Robloxian Myth Hunters' early logos.[[:File:RMH2012.png]][[:File:RMHOLD.png]] Later on in 2015, HEROBRlNE and his game would be featured in multiple of jokerkid5898's "List of Interesting 'Myth' Places" forum posts.https://archive.froast.io/forum/160259341 Eventually in 2024, HEROBRlNE would come back to Roblox. He was among several older accounts to return within a short period, such as [[Mallorina]] and [[D3F4LT]]. During this activity HEROBRlNE would be found by multiple hunters, and would communicate to many of them, specifically friending the user "sIeazish" in the process. He would continue to be active after this, friending the user "NightCrypt" and eventually the account "Joker_Ceno", which is the holder account used for RMH. HEROBRlNE would also create a second game named ".ogg", and upload four images, which seem to be for this new game. Later on the 2nd of September, 2024, famous Roblox developer "MaximumADHD" would tweet out on their Twitter account stating that the HEROBRlNE account was theirs and had been hacked. This can be supported by the fact that scripts within HEROBRlNE's game credit MaximumADHD as the creator.{{Citation Needed}} At some point before this, HEROBRlNE would also change their avatar to resemble the Minecraft player models closer, and would friend the user "ev1", the creator of the bundle used by HEROBRlNE. Later on, the account would unfriend most users, apart from ev1, [[jokerkid5898]] and [[lewa1269]]. == Game == === [https://www.roblox.com/games/48562125/Stop Stop.] === Stop is HEROBRlNE's only game. It contains an image of Herobrine slowly coming closer to the camera. There is a background which switches between red and white and creepy music in the background. There is a "BUG" counter in the top right corner, but it doesn't go up or down. If Herobrine comes close enough to the camera, it plays a strange noise and resets the process. This game is also uncopylocked. The description states "He is no longer with us" - N̴̼ͪ̎͌͒̕͠o̴̼ͪ̎͌͒̕͠tc̴̼ͪ̎͌͒̕͠h." which is a reference to the original Herobrine creepypasta post from 4chan. == Appearance == HEROBRlNE wears the "Enderman" set of clothing, the Ninja Mask of Shadows, the Socialite hat and the Bandito mask. HEROBRlNE also wears a t-shirt called "S̴̼ͪ̎͌͒̕͠top." Which depicts the Herobrine skin from Minecraft. He has the "=)" face and the "Splinter's Staff" gear. == Personality and Traits == According to a forum post, HEROBRlNE would only say the word "Stop." while in character.https://archive.froast.io/forum/53978583 Although, When he was out of character, he was generally quite helpful and normal. == Trivia == * HEROBRlNE was at one point friends with Dignity. Due to Roblox changing over time, they are no longer friends, but they do follow each other.https://archive.froast.io/forum/69106570#69106688 ** As of 2024, this is no longer entirely accurate, as HEROBRlNE has unfollowed Dignity. * HEROBRlNE was featured in two of RMH's logos. ** In the first logo he was featured in, he was represented by an image of the Herobrine's Minecraft skin rather than his Roblox avatar. == Gallery == {{TBA}} == References == [[Category:Popular Myths]] [[Category:Robloxian Myth Hunters Related]] [[Category:Myths]] [[Category:Inactive Myths]] [[Category:Mystery Era Myths]] [[Category:Recognized Myths]]
