Biography
TheC0mmunity is an infamous Roblox exploiter best known for engineering the March 18th hacking rumors of 2017. He exploited a bug in Roblox's friend system that let him force-friend any account, including terminated ones, without the other party accepting. Using this, he added John and Jane Doe, 1x1x1x1, and others to his friends list, then built a reputation as a dangerous figure to promote Robux scams.
He owns and has used two publicly known accounts: the original TheC0mmunity (created November 29, 2014) and an alternate The_C0mmunity (created February 24, 2016). The_C0mmunity's bio reads:
"Although I may not respond, I read all messages. Original owner of TheC0mmunity, the account friended by John Doe and Jane Doe, 1x1x1x1, and many others."
Accounts
The original account, created November 29, 2014. All of his exploiting activity, group ownership, and rumor-spreading came from this account throughout 2015 to 2017. Roblox terminated it in June 2017 after community backlash from the March 18th and Greg campaigns.
The account's bio ("They didn't believe us. They thought it was a lie. They thought it was a joke, but it wasn't. They were all warnings for the true event."), written in Greek-substituted characters, reads:
"τhεψ διδπ'τ βεlιεvε υs. τhεψ τhουghτ ιτ ωαs α lιε. τhεψ τhουghτ ιτ ωαs α jοκε, βυτ ιτ ωαsπ'τ. τhεψ ωεrε αll ωαrπιπgs ζοr τhε τrυε εvεπτ."
The_C0mmunity, created February 24, 2016, over a year before the main account's termination. For a while it sat dormant, but once TheC0mmunity was terminated in June 2017 this account became the main one he used. It is still active from time to time. The account hosts RPM, the only public game on this account. The profile bio reads:
"Although I may not respond, I read all messages. Original owner of TheC0mmunity, the account friended by John and Jane Doe, 1x1x1x1, and many others."
History
Early Activity (2014 to 2016)
The TheC0mmunity account was created on November 29, 2014. Not much happened until mid-2015, when he began exploiting a bug in Roblox's Player class UserId property. The bug was allegedly first found by a user named DominusTrex and let him friend any account without their acceptance. He used it to add John Doe, https://roblox.com/users/3, 1x1x1x1, and others to his friends list. None of this was hacking in any real sense, but having those accounts as friends would later become the basis of his reputation.
The The_C0mmunity alt account was created during this period on February 24, 2016.
The March 18th Rumors (Early 2017)
In early 2017, TheC0mmunity began spreading the rumor that John and Jane Doe would hack Roblox on March 18th, 2017. YouTubers ran with it and made the panic much worse. The rumor had no basis, and his actual reason for running it was money: he was selling fraudulent developer products and group clothing to people who wanted to be associated with the feared accounts.
On March 13, 2017, his group was banned by Roblox. He then posted a confession on v3rmillion[TheC0mmunity's confession thread on v3rmillion (site now defunct)]:
{{Quote|As a couple of you have seen, the group c0mmunity has been banned and its purpose exposed.
I am the owner of the TheC0mmunity account.
For those of you who are unaware, here's a quick breakdown of what's happening;
Back sometime in 2015, I used an old Player class property bug with the UserId property, which was (allegedly) found by DominusTrex.
This bug allowed you to add anyone, even banned users, without them actually accepting the request. Using this bug, I added John Doe, Jane Doe, 1x1x1x1, among others.
Recently, YouTubers have been making videos on this topic creating ludicrous "theories."
I decided to capitalize on this newfound attention by selling fraudulent developer products, offering the service of adding people to the aforementioned people's friends list.
Using the tactic, I made a good amount of ROBUX, up until the point when I attempted to sell copies of the popular Mad Games, which got me banned for a week and the group indefinitely suspended.
The reason I'm making this thread is because I am exhausted. I'm tired of playing the part of a "hacker." I've been banned from Raindrop and Hexus for my actions, and I'm tired of it.
Don't bother replying to this thread with useless comments like "I knew it" "No one cares" "You deserved it" etc. I don't really care much for your opinion.
It's been a good run, but I'm tired of this, probably going to sell the account. Make offers if you like.
ps: yes i know most of you cunts already know about this, don't bother posting that you do, it doesn't make you any cooler kthx
pps: sorry if this sounded pretentious|TheC0mmunity's confession post on v3rmillion, March 13, 2017}}
The 666 Scam Game and Greg Rumors (March 2017)
Despite already confessing, TheC0mmunity kept going. He launched a game called 666 on the main account, selling a fraudulent GUI that claimed to add players to John Doe, Jane Doe, and 1x1x1x1's friends lists. Nobody actually got added to anything.
He also pushed the Greg rumors around this time, framing Greg as the next hacker set to strike on March 24th, 2017. Greg was not an account he owned or created. It was an old Roblox account from July 2004 that had been compromised and sold on v3rmillion to another user. The buyer admitted on March 20, 2017 that the whole thing was fake, and the account was terminated the next day.Greg, Myth Community Wiki
Termination (June 2017)
By June 2017, Roblox terminated the main TheC0mmunity account. The group had already been suspended in March. After this, all activity moved to The_C0mmunity alternate account.

Personality and Traits
Going by his own words, TheC0mmunity was in it for attention and money, not any real agenda. His v3rmillion confession makes that clear: the hacker persona was built on top of YouTuber panic, and he just went with it for Robux. He also mentioned being banned from Raindrop as part of why he was done with it, suggesting the attention had turned into more trouble than it was worth. Raindrop was a paid Roblox script executor tool with its own community, active around the same time as the March 18th events.
Even so, he kept running scams, launching new games, and pushing the Greg rumors weeks after posting that confession. He never really showed regret, just tiredness.
Games
RPM
RPM is on The_C0mmunity alternate account. Created August 8, 2017, last updated August 31, 2017. The game puts players in a garage-like room with shelves, ladders, air vents, and windows looking out into a night exterior. A video by Jas O'Connor documented the game before cutting off due to a crash, leaving the full contents unknown.
666
666 was created on the main TheC0mmunity account on February 20, 2017, last updated April 27, 2017.BryansStuff, "TheC0mmunity: Creator Of The March 18th Rumors (Roblox)" Players were sold a GUI claiming to add them to the friends list of John Doe, Jane Doe, 1x1x1x1, and others. Nothing really happened. TheC0mmunity confirmed it was a scam in his v3rmillion confession.
Inside the game, players spawned in a corridor with a John Doe NPC, whispering audio, and creepy music. Anyone not in his group got a message: "I'm disappointed. You are not a loyal minion. Join us to be a part of the new world order." A monster figure moved through one wall to the other with a little girl's laugh, followed by a jumpscare. A model of John Doe's old look sat in the middle of the hallway. At the end was a red-lit area that played a long sequence of numbers on a black screen.

imminenti mortis est
imminenti mortis est (Latin for "death is imminent") is a Roblox group owned by The_C0mmunity with over 5,800 members. The group is public.
The C0mmunity (Defunct)
The original C0mmunity group was where TheC0mmunity ran the March 18th scam, selling fraudulent developer products and group clothing. Roblox suspended it in March 2017 after he tried to sell unauthorized copies of Mad Games, which broke the Terms of Service. The suspension happened right before the v3rmillion confession.
Relationships
John Doe and Jane Doe
TheC0mmunity force-friended both accounts using the UserId exploit, with no acceptance needed from either side. Having those names on his friends list was what convinced YouTubers and players to take the March 18th rumors seriously. Neither account had any real connection to him or any active involvement with what he was doing.
1x1x1x1
Also force-friended using the same exploit. 1x1x1x1 was already a feared terminated account, so having it on the friends list helped sell the idea that TheC0mmunity was part of some sort of larger hacker network.
Greg
TheC0mmunity pushed the Greg narrative as part of his March 24th fearmongering, but Greg was not his account. Greg was an old Roblox account from 2004 that got compromised and sold on v3rmillion. The buyer, admitted publicly on March 20, 2017 that it was a hoax, and the account was terminated the next day.
BloxWatchers
TheC0mmunity has documented ties to BloxWatchers, a group known for fearmongering around supposed hacker entities in Roblox games. BloxWatchers grew in the aftermath of the March 18th and March 24th events, and TheC0mmunity is listed as an official affiliate on this wiki.[Blox Watch]
Theories
* He posted the confession on March 13, 2017, then still launched 666 and pushed the Greg rumors after that. Whether it was habit, financial incentive, or just not being done yet is unclear.
* For a while, a rumor went around that the user ItzOrdz (aka Wrathxn) was TheC0mmunity. This has been denied and is false.BryansStuff, theories section
Trivia
* TheC0mmunity is one of the few Roblox players to have directly shaped how a large portion of the community behaved, even if through a hoax. The March 18th panic spread to millions of players and prompted Roblox themselves to publish an official blog post clarifying that John and Jane Doe were test accounts created by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel and posed no danger to anyone.
* The bug he exploited was eventually patched by Roblox. As part of the cleanup, Roblox announced they would clear John and Jane Doe's friends and follower lists of any involuntarily added accounts, and re-outfit them with new Roblox-branded clothing.Roblox, "The Real Backstory of the John Doe & Jane Doe Myths", March 2017
* His use of the DIY Biggerhead hat contributed to it becoming a common avatar choice among exploiters and trolls, to the point where the hat itself became associated with that type of player on the platform.
* The friend system bug was allegedly first found by DominusTrex, not TheC0mmunity. He was one of the first to use it but did not discover it.
* He was banned from Raindrop, a paid Roblox script executor tool. He cited this in his confession as a major reason he was done with the whole thing.
* Despite popular belief, ItzOrdz (now Wrathxn) is not TheC0mmunity.
* At the height of the March 18th panic, multiple large Roblox YouTubers made videos about the supposed hacking, treating TheC0mmunity's setup as evidence of a real threat. Many of those videos got hundreds of thousands of views before the date passed with nothing happening.
