The Myth Community Wiki is a wiki in which anyone is free to make any edits, contributions and even add new pages to the wiki as they please, anything from information on myths and your myth theories to renders on myths or figures in the myth community, information you might have on a myth that might not be mentioned, is allowed and we very much encourage for you to add, all contributions however must follow our rules, guidelines and requirements. This page will serve as a guide, in which the reader can find information about how the wiki is formatted, what templates do, how to use certain categories, and how our notices work. This page is meant to be read in tandem with the [[Wiki Rules and Requirements]] page. == Writing Examples == The following articles are viewed to be the gold-standard for editing on our wiki. Feel free to use these pages are references for your editing. * [[G0Z]] * [[Noli]] * [[Apprehensivve]] * [[Robloxian Myth Hunters]] * [[SmithCult]] * [[MarkTheStoreowner]] * [[1x1x1x1]] === Useful Resources === * [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Editing Editing Guide] == Formatting and Templates == === Article titles === Article titles should always be a concise, recognizable name for the topic of the page. For most pages, this simply means using the name of the individual or group which the page is about. # For events, always use the official name given to the event. If the event had no official name, use a short fitting description of the topic. # For retired myths, the page title should always be the name the myth used. === Lead section === An article should begin with an introductory lead section, which summarizes the page's topic in a concise manor. Most of what is mentioned in the article should be summarized in the lead section. === Sections === Depending on the type of article, the remainder of the page should be divided into sections, based off of the [[Page Templates|various established templates]] on the wiki. The specific sections a page should use depend on the page's topic. Here are the guidelines for creating sections on a page: # When dividing a page into sections, typically we only use level 2 (==Title==) and 3 (===Title===) of headings. # Do not use any headings below level 4. # Do not use level 1 headings. # Do not bold headings. # Do not include links in headings. # Do not include citations in headings. # Do not number or letter headings. == Page Categories == This is a list of all categories on our wiki, which is intended to be used as an directory for when a page is being created, so all relevant categories are applied to pages. === Page Subject === {| class="wikitable" style="background:#2b232e; color:#ffffff" !
