==Biography==
Vault 8166 is a "facility" of some sort. Lots of computers can be found throughout the facility. These computers seem to display some sort out "Audit Log". The game is fairly small in terms of gameplay and rooms. Some rooms are empty, and some rooms are filled with random things. One room contains block-like figures. Another houses trusses and floating bricks.

In 2016, The first known video of this facility was uploaded to YouTube, but then deleted. It was later re-uploaded and features a hallway full of computers with switching screens that seem to show codes. It also contains red flashing lights, a strange white room at the end, and a poster with a skeleton on it, which says "Warning, we are watching you". 

But years leading up to 2017, this facility has remained deeply hidden to the public eye. This was until around early 2017 to mid 2017 when the story of Vault 8166 exploded in popularity. In its peak, rumors rose that BoomBlox555 was running the facility, but this remained unproven until later when it was discovered that BoomBlox555 was not to be the person roaming the facility in the footage.

Despite this, the first actual mentions are from January 2017. It's unknown who exactly started the Vault 8166 rumor, but it quickly began to gain popularity from the Roblox Community. On the 30th of January, a very popular video titled "*RECOVERED* Leaked ROBLOX Vault 8166 Incident" was uploaded by "Roblox Archives". This upload was one of the biggest reasons that Vault 8166 got popular and added further lore. After this, the legend was adopted by the community, and many people created their own recreations. It's unknown if there ever actually was a "real" vault.

==Personality and Traits ==
The Vault itself doesn't seem to do much, and it's only deemed dangerous when the supposed "hackers" operate it. Supposedly there is an AI that can do very bad things. In the case of guardian sightings, it has the ability to conceal itself and re-appear in any part of the facility.

Some secret passages are only accessible by saying a code, which is read by the game. Nothing of great importance has been found yet, and most of the systems and computer screens show that they have been disabled.

Most smoke detectors placed around the vault usually do nothing, but will sometimes emit paranormal behavior, such as making noises, crashing users, and sometimes even disappearing. The purpose of these devices is most likely to watch any users who enter the vault, but whoever controls them is unknown. The most active one is placed near the entrance to level 3, which will automatically crash any user who is unable to bypass the sensor.
