Catcher of Eggs— EggyCatcher
EggyCatcher is a stud myth known for their game "Easter Island" and for their affiliation with the group Paradox of Myths. Despite creating their account in 2010, they only became active in 2022 when they began their myth. They are also the owner of the group "Multiverse of Robloxia", which also holds other myths with a similar style and aesthetic.
Biography
EggyCatcher exists within a reality different to our own, having many gods and mythical objects, all of which are based around the old egg accessories by Roblox. In the beginning of time, a collection of relics were created, with a concept related to each of them. During this time other creatures were made, with some being good and some being evil. One of the first and most influential gods was Gygax, who was very powerful and brought weather, crops and sea to the humans on Earth. Gygax also created gods, such as Kindness and Nature. Eventually he was banished by humans, like many other gods. The opposite of him, known as Corruption or Invisible Shadows, was the enemy of all gods, and was banished by humans as well.
EggyCatcher is known as the lord of knowledge and history, collecting all of this knowledge of the gods and relics and keeping them on his island, Easter Island.
History
EggyCatcher joined Roblox on the 26th of July, 2010 and created their game on the same day. It is unknown if the account was active near it's creation, and there is no proof of any activity from the account prior to early 2022. This first sign of activity came from when EggyCatcher started updating his game for the first time. It's unknown exactly when Eggy began becoming active, but it's believed to be around March 2022, due to the badges related to Eggy's games being created on March 23rd, 2022. Around this time a Discord account was also created for EggyCatcher, although this account would be pretty much completely inactive.
The first mention of EggyCatcher originates in the Robloxian Myth Hunters Discord server, when his game, formerly known as "EggyCatcher's Place", was shouted by user Heliosical[1]. This is likely to not be the first time the game was discovered, but it is the first recorded mention of EggyCatcher. After this, Eggy would continue to be mentioned actively in servers such as Robloxian Myth Hunters, and according to one message, he had around 21 followers in September of 2022[2].
Later on in October 2022, EggyCatcher would create the group "Multiverse of Robloxia", and in November EggyCatcher would be active for the last time. This was the last time their game was updated, he went online on Roblox, and when they would join the Paradox of Myths Discord server, and possibly the group as well.
Appearance
EggyCatcher's current outfit consists of a "Pink Wizard Cloak" shirt and pants, the "Empyrean Reignment" hat and the "Bouncing Egg of Boing Boing" egg accessory. EggyCatcher also uses a pink skintone to match their outfit.
Personality and Traits
EggyCatcher is known to act like a godlike figure, often referring to people as "Mortals" and referring to his own game as his "realm". He speaks with proper grammar and is usually calm, and likely has an obsession with eggs, as seen in his description and in his only message in the Paradox of Myths Discord server[3].
Game
Easter Island
Easter Island serves as a sort of hub world, having hidden teleports within it which sends the players to several smaller games. These games each have one story of a god or relic in the EggyCatcher universe. An older version of this game had a hidden teleport which sent the player to a game about EggyCatcher himself, although that has seemingly been removed from the game.
Group
Multiverse of Robloxia
Multiverse of Robloxia is a group created by EggyCatcher which serves to connect several other myths with a similar classic style. The group was created in October 2022, and has been inactive for quite some time, with most of the myths in the group being almost completely inactive.
