i am meondo— Meondo's Twitter Description

Meondo is a recognized trigger myth, known for his unique game "Inertia". He began his myth in 2019 and quickly became popular, befriending many popular myths and hunters.

Biography

Meondo is in a coma. You traverse through his mind as it gives you tasks to complete and ways forward through his mind, eventually bringing you to the gateway of consciousness. You then have a choice and that choice decides whether Meondo wakes up or whether he dies in his sleep.

History

Meondo created his account on the 10th of June, 2019, and released his game "Inertia" a day later. Soon after, Meondo began to develop his game, which was created a day after the creation of his account. It's unknown exactly when his game was completed, but it may have been on the 24th of June, 2019, when an account named "MeondoBetaTest1" was created[1]. This account was last online on the 11th of July, 2019, which may signify the competition of the game.

On July 11th, Meondo's game "Inertia" was mentioned in Robloxian Myth Hunters for the first time. This included Foxicarus posting the game, and hunting it[2]. The first mention of Meondo was on July 13th, 2019, when Meondo was mentioned by heminabove and a second hunter. These posts talked about new friends of Meondo[3], as well as posting an image of Meondo in an unknown game[4].

In August 2019, Meondo created a Twitter account and posted his first tweets on the 4th of August. Meondo would continue to friend notable people on Roblox, and eventually updated his game "Inertia" for the last time, on the 29th of September, 2019. He would post his last tweet in December 2019[5], but would continue to be active on Roblox up until August 2023, that being the last time he was online.

Appearance

Meondo wears no accessories, instead having body parts mostly coloured a Light Stone Grey apart from his left arm and right leg which are a Dark Stone Grey.

Personality and Traits

When in-game, Meondo is generally rather quiet around people, only really speaking when talked to or questioned. He generally wont use correct grammar either.

Game

Inertia

Inertia is a trigger game

Inertia begins with the text:

"Wake up."

"We miss you."

"We need you."

After this, the player will appear in a black void, with the text:

"Welcome, Would you look at that! Some stepping stones appeared. How about you walk up up them."

If the player then walks up for these stones, more narration will appear. It begins with:

"Good job. Oh look up!" This leads to stars appearing in the skybox, replacing the fully black skybox. The narration continues:

"Stars have appeared. How nice." After this, an island using a mixture of material and studs will appear. The narrator states:

"An island. A touch of life is always good. It is beautiful isn't it. How about we turn on the lights?" After this, the skybox turns to an evening lighting, and then the narrator continues:

"There we go! You need more walking room." After this, a second island connected by a bridge will appear on the map, with the last bit of narration being:

"There you go. There is something missing." Afterwards, the player must find a hidden lever located under the second island on the map. This causes a small cave to appear, with the narrator stating: "A cave!"

Entering the cave will lead to the islands above to gain an autumn style, having leaves on the ground and orange trees. After this, if the player exits the cave, the narrator will state: "You've been in there a while". "The seasons have changed. I feel it may be time for you to leave this state. You've been here for long enough. Goodbye."

This will teleport the player to a subgame, which features a fully white skybox, with gray islands connected by a small path. On one of the islands is a portal, which can be activated by clicking a small lever under the bridge between the islands. Touching the portal will teleport the player to yet another subgame, featuring a small island surrounded by a stone gate on most sides, having a metal gate with the text "CONSCIOUSNESS" to the right of it. Stating this in the chat will open the metal gate, which leads the player to another subgame.

This next subgame takes place on a white screen, with the text "Welcome back. You're almost there. Did you enjoy your stay?". Under this text are two options, yes or no. Clicking "No" will teleport the player to a game featuring a small hospital room, and Meondo laying on the bed. On a computer next to Meondo is the text "Did you enjoy your stay", a reference to the former game. In this game, after a few seconds, the life monitor next to Meondo will shut off, and Meondo will die. If the player kicks the "Yes" option, the player will be teleported to an identical game, except with Meondo surviving in this version.

Theories

  • Meondo is in a coma and you're the one trying to awaken him,
    • "Gateway to Consciousness", "Wake up" and the fact that he's asleep on a hospital bed suggests that he was in a coma.
    • Saying that you enjoyed your stay awakens him from his coma.

Trivia

  • The definition of "Inertia" is stated in the description of the game, "a tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged."
  • Meondo is only following one person, that being Ukalante.
  • Meondo is followed by multiple Myth Database accounts, such as TheTriggerMyths, InterestingMyths, GoodMyths, MythArchiver and NotableMyths.
