MERITORIUS

Six years ago I was an engineer, I made creations. After some creative differences however, I decided to part ways with the company I worked for. ''Or so they parted ways with me.— MERITORIUS

MERITORIUS is a recognized myth, best known for their former rank in Robloxian Myth Hunters, their association with G0Z, and for their general presence in the myth community between the years of 2018 and 2019. MERITORIUS created their account on the 13th of September 2012, but didn't become active as a myth until 2017. Throughout 2018, MERITORIUS would grow in popularity, attaining a rank in Robloxian Myth Hunters, befriending G0Z, and receiving a lot of attention his game "My House". Eventually, they'd go inactive, eventually removing their games and leaving most groups on their account.

Biography

Due to the fact that MERITORIUS has privated his games and most of them have not been archived, it is very difficult to get a whole picture of what the MERITORIUS myth is about. However, there are some recordings of MERITORIUS' first game, "My House", meaning that some information can be gathered.

In "My House", various dead bodies can be found in MEROTORIUS' home. There are also a large number of "spirits", possibly being the ghosts of the victims, or demons of some sort. The game features various smaller rooms, hidden behind teleports, which contain cryptic messages about MERITORIUS. These include "IT'S MY FAULT", "SHES GONE" and "I MAY LOOK NICE".^[1] This all paints a picture of MERITORIUS being a murderer, who has killed many people. It seems that this is something he does for his own enjoyment, although the spirits around his house could've influenced him to do this.

History

MERITORIUS created their account on the 13th of September, 2012. The account was inactive until late 2017, when MERITORIUS would be repurposed as a myth account. His first sign of activity came on the 23rd of August, 2017, when MERITORIUS would create his game "My House".^[2] After this, the next mention of MERITORIUS would come on the 27th of January, 2018, when Dysphen sent a message in the Robloxian Myth Hunters' discord server, asking who had ranked MERITORIUS as a Smaller/Upcoming Myth.^[3] He was was seemingly demoted moments later due to the lack of visits on his account.^[4]

After this, MERITORIUS would be mentioned a few times, but it would be nothing of note. Apart from this server, the next mention of MERITORIUS would happen on the 17th of February, 2018, when the YouTube user "MomOf Robloxia" would upload a video playing MERITORIUS' game "My House". This video showcases the user playing this game, as they explain their discoveries and theories. In April 2018, MERITORIUS would create his own YouTube channel. A day after the creation of the account, MERITORIUS would upload 12 videos, all seemingly from the same play session of "My House".

Apart from these videos, not much is documented from MERITORIUS' time on the platform. There is one video, uploaded in June 2018, likely containing a glimpse at MERITORIUS' game "Japan", although this is not fully confirmed.^[5]

After this, it is believed that MERITORIUS went fully inactive. Between 2021 and 2022, he supposedly would leave all of his groups, and would private all of his games.^[6] During this time, he would mysteriously join "The Cole Family" group, then known as "Myth Investigate", and would be ranked as a myth during that time. The last time MERITORIUS was active was on October 19th, 2022.^{[citation needed]}

Appearance

MERITORIUS' current outfit consists of a "Steampunk Engineer" shirt, and "Engineer Steampunk" pants. He also wears the "Punk Kid" hat, and "Square Eyes" head. His full body is the color "Industrial white".

In the past, he has also worn the "Bunny Face Mask" item, as can be seen in this video. In the earliest versions of his avatar, he also wore the "=)" head, as opposed to the "Square Eyes" head.

Personality and Traits

In the videos found on the MERITORIUS YouTube channel and the "MomOf Robloxia" YouTube channel, MERITORIUS acted pretty casually, often just acting nice and "normal". He would frequently go on killing sprees in his games, equipping the "Mad Murderer Knife" gear, and killing the people in his game.^[7][8]

Theories

• MERITORIUS killed his sister.
  • The body of a girl can be found in boarded up room in his house. This room is intentionally avoided by MERITORIUS in his house tour video, unlike the other room with dead bodies found in MERITORIUS' home.^[9]
  • In MERITORIUS' bedroom, a pink teddy bear can be found next to a dark picture.^[9] There is text which can be seen in front of this photo, although the only video recording of this text is too blurry for it to be read. In this same room, a purple ghost can be seen, which is unlike other ghosts found in the game.

Trivia

• He is friends with myths such as LenzCult, Graled and Yamuh.
  • Due to the termination of Graled and Roblox updating their website to comply with the UK's Online Safety Act, Yamuh and Graled are no longer viewable on MERITORIUS' friends list.
