Biography
Real World
Gabriel was born on the 3rd of May, 2002. He was raised by his family until he was 15, when his mother died and he decided to runaway from home. Because of this, he became homeless. While he was homeless, he visited a local synagogue which led to him developing a name for his conscious. This name was "Barachiel". He is unaware that this angel was actually sent to protect him. While going to school, a girl named Lailah notices Gabriel and develops a crush on him. Eventually, she would ask him out and they would begin dating.
While Gabriel is homeless, at this point, him and Lailah decide to save up money from extra jobs and after saving up enough money, they moved out together at the age of 15. One day, before Lailah came home, Gabriel arrives home early and suffers an unexpected hemorrhage. He fell to the floor, where Lailah finds him hours later. He is then rushed to the hospital and is declared to be in a coma. While Gabriel continues to be in a coma, Lailah graduates high school and starts working yet another job to support herself and Gabriel.
5 years into Gabriel's coma, strange people begin to appear at the hospital claiming to be "from Gabriel's head". Lailah is in disbelief but becomes acquaintances with a few of them. Lailah and the people eventually become friends, with Lailah even inviting them over to her home. Eventually Lailah becomes open to the idea that these people actually are connected to Gabriel through their dreams.
The Heavens
While working at the garden, Gabriel and Samael, two Archangels, begin to become close to one another. They then begin to date one another, while Gabriel considers it more of a fling than actual dating. Eventually Gabriel would begin to drift away from Samael, with him trying to explain his thoughts to Samael, but Samael refuses to listen. Eventually, Gabriel buys a home in Zebul and drops all contact with Samael.
Back at the garden, Gabriel once again becomes close to another angel, this time being Barachiel. After some time together, they started dating, which lasts for several centuries. At some point into their relationship, Barachiel moves into Gabriel's house in Zebul. When Samael finds out about this whole ordeal, Samael becomes incredibly angry, going so far as to kill Barachiel. Gabriel sees Samael doing this and attempts to save Barachiel by attacking Samael, but ultimately fails to defeat Samael and save Barachiel. Barachiel is then buried in the garden and from there on, Gabriel vows to never be violent again.
After a very long time, Lailah appears in the Garden as Barachiel's replacement. Gabriel is hesitant to get close to her, but eventually the two become best friends. Unexpectedly, humans begin to appear in the garden, which begins to blur the line between life and death. Gabriel is hostile towards them, but eventually becomes friendly to some. This is the beginning of the "Garden of Eden" Discord server.
Barachiel's ghost and the human Gabriel begin to appear suddenly, showing that The Heavens are crumbling. Barachiel removes Lailah from the Tree of Life and then disappears after the strangers appear at the hospital. This leaves Gabriel all alone. After a fit of rage in the Garden of Eden Discord server, Gabriel swears which causes him to essentially "reset" to the a default angel. It is unknown if this is fixed, but after meeting a doctor, he notices that his usually golden halo is black and has cracks forming on his normally fully white body. His form is not fixed, but he is able to regain his memories prior to the reset, and the reset is now fully gone from his memory.
After this, Samael begins to appear at the garden. Later on, Yetzer Hara, the physical embodiment of evil, appears before the humans in the Garden. Another new character, the archangel Michael then appears at the Tree of Life looking for a code. This is when the "LR", an organization of powerful angels and other celestial beings with the goal of restoring order to the Heavens, shuts down Gabriel's district in Zebul. Eventually the humans are able to gain access to Zebul and Gabriel's home.
Currently, the last thing that has been revealed in the storyline is that Gabriel plans to murder the member of the "LR", first of them being Samael.
History
phemorrhage created his account on the 29th of November, 2022. Despite this, it seems that he first became active around April 2023, when the game was first discovered by notable users, such as kingcorky and Modizzhend, and was first mentioned in both Paradox of Myths and Robloxian Myth Hunters[1][2]. From there, "Guf" continued to be hunted often, with it being updates sometimes as well. In May of 2023, the "Garden of Eden" server was created. At first this server was seemingly a private server for only a few people, but was eventually opened to the public. This server would post consistent teasers, eventually leading up to the release of the first "Guf" subgame, Gabriel[3], which was released in June 2023.
After this, phemorrhage began to tease the second subgame, titled "Home"[4], when was released on the 7th of August, 2023. Eventually, on the 17th of August, 2023, phemorrhage announced the myth was going on a hiatus[5]. During this hiatus, Gabriel hit the goal of 5000+ visits, which Gabriel announced on the 27th of August, 2023[6]. He remained on this hiatus until the the 4th of September, 2023, when he posted a teaser to mark his return[7]. Over the next couple months, Gabriel posted more and more teasers, including ones for the game "Zebul"[8], which was created on the 12th of August, 2023, but likely released much later in December. Since December 24th, Gabriel has seemingly been on hiatus, as announced in the Garden of Eden Discord server[9].
Appearance
At the time of writing this, Gabriel wears the "Fallen Halo" hat, the "Blonde Messy Wavy Middle Part", The 'Lab Rat' - Pants and the 'Lab Rat' + Shirt. He also uses the Concerned face. This outfit appears to depict the human Gabriel. His primary outfit consisted of a fully white outfit, with the "Corrupted Observing Eye Head" accessory and the "Angelic Halo" hat. This appears to be the outfit of the Archangel Gabriel.
Personality and Traits
Angel Gabriel acts very closed off about certain topics, mainly regarding his past, as he feels deep regret over some aspects about it. He's very sophisticated if he chooses to be, or is forced to depending on the situation. But he can have fun with humans. He is very light-hearted at times but can also be quite the opposite. As an angel, he is quite the sore thumb, acting more like a human than a celestial, being quite known for this in The Heavens.
Game(s)
Guf
Guf takes place in the enclosed Garden of Eden, being a grassy wonderland compared to the gray barren wasteland outside of the box. This game has multiple subgames inside of it, which can be discovered with the usage of glitches and the decoding of a reoccurring solitaire cipher. This is where Gabriel met Barachiel, and appears to be an important location for Gabriel.
If the player follows the small path, a home will at the end. At first this home seems to hold nothing, but if the player exists the home and walks to the left, a grave can be found. This grave has a small candle next to it and a code on the back of it stating "WRONG ONE". If the player then walks into the home and says the code, a hole will appear in the ground which leads to a small cave. At the front of this cave is a small glowing white door. It's unknown exactly how the player is intended to get through the white door, but players have found multiple methods.
After the player gets past this, a small path with wooden detailing will be ahead, with broken police tape in a small doorway. On the immediate right after the doorway is a small pedestal, touching this pedestal causes this text to appear on screen:
"And the woman beheld Sammael, the angel of death, and was afraid; yet she knew that the tree was good to eat, and that it was medicine for the enlightenment of the eyes, and desirable tree by means of which to understand. And she took of its fruit, and did eat; and she gave to her husband with her, and he did eat."
This is from Targum, Pseudo-Jonathan Genesis 3:6. If the player continues to walk down the hallway, eventually reaching a staircase, the player will fall through the stairs. After this, the player must maneuver through a slit in the cave. After this the player must walk through a hole in the wall until a small piece of wood falls down. Here the player can find 8 signs, all stating "YOU HAVE BEEN MISLED. THIS IS NOT THE WAY. CONTINUE NO FURTHER.".
After this, the player will be met with a long piece of text, written in a cipher based on playing cards. After decoding this the player will get the code "Archangel". Stating this would open up a large wall and the player will now be able to enter "Tree of Life". This game takes place on a small set of islands. Under the central island is a small area with a red light emitting from it. Touching this light will spawn in a larger bridge with an open coffin. Touching this kicks the player. To the right of the coffin is another pedestal, this one stating "Welcome to Rendezvous Point A. Please enter the codeword.". At the time of writing this the code for this is unknown.
Returning to the first game, if the player glitches through the gate at the beginning, the player can access another subgame. The intended method to get through the gate is unknown, but it's possible to access it using different clip glitches or using a glitch to infinitely climb a box. Glitching out of here sends the player to "Gabriel." This game takes place in a small apartment, presumably owned by Gabriel or Lailah. On the table in the room is a small book. Touching this book will show a piece of text in Hebrew. From this the player is then able to get the code "Birkat Hagomel". From here, the player can either enter a small messy apartment, which has a hole in the wall leading to a transparent Gabriel laying in a hospital bed, or proceed to the next game. This game can be accessed by saying "5/3/2002", Gabriel's birthday.
The next game, "Home" is a very large map, featuring places like the home of Lailah and Gabriel, as well as a large cave system behind the home which features a large golden gate, which currently does nothing. If the player walks the opposite direction, they can walk along two paths. One of which leading to a small picnic table and the second longer path leading to a blocked off cave with yet another code written in the playing card cipher. Despite there appearing to be ways to continue, this is believed to be all the accessible content, likely because of the focus on "Zebul".
