Biography

Pteh's game, "Old tower", gives us some information on who Pteh is and his story. We know that he grieves for someone as shown by the grave. Parts of his story can also be found from other games such as Dorment's "[WINTER]". He has also been seen in-game talking about himself as well.

History

Pteh's account was made on the 14th of May, 2011. The early history of the account is unknown, as there is no documented evidence of the account being active prior to 2019, although it is possible that they were active anyway. It was first in 2019 when Pteh is believed to have become active, evidenced by the account's first mentions appearing during 2019.^[1][2] On December 6th, 2019, a hunter from Roblox's Myths Intelligence Agency had created a document about Pteh and related accounts like Ulose and Dorment. The hunter was named Dhallwial123.

In September of 2020, Pteh would join the group concinnity(). Later in August of 2021, Pteh would be promoted to the "Unmoving" rank in the group, being one of few myths to hold this rank. During this same time, Pteh would remake their game, to be one large game, rather than several smaller sub games. This game would slowly be updated over time, although it remains unfinished.

Appearance

His appearance has changed throughout his history but Pteh currently appears as a blue skinned humanoid with darker shades of blue used to appear as trousers on the legs and an even darker shade of blue used to appear as a shirt on his torso. He wears the Down Under Dude hat

Personality and Traits

When in game, Pteh is considered to be quiet, not speaking much, but when he does interact with hunters, he does it in a very cold and brisk manner. He has been seen in games other than his own but he does not talk about his story in-game.

Game

Old tower

"Old tower" is a myth game created by Pteh on May 14th, 2011. The game first became a myth game sometime in 2019. The original version consisted of several smaller stud myth games, utilizing triggers to progress. The game was later remade in 2021, although it still features the same style of progression. The game attempts to give hints and clues as to Pteh's story as well as the other two characters in his story, Dorment and UIose. Upon joining, the player will be standing beside a wooden house on a large island. On this island, multiple notable structures can be found, including the aforementioned house, a lighthouse, and an additional tower, being the eponymous "old tower". Near the lighthouse there is also a small dock, where Pteh can be seen looking out at the water, with a guitar place behind him.

In order to progress, the player should approach the grave, found next to the light house. When the player comes too close to the grave, a dense fog will appear, and it will start raining. Pteh will also appear, standing in front of the grave. From here, the player can enter the house, and click on the radio. This will cause the screen to turn gray after a few seconds, and a thunder sound will play. After this, the house will be destroyed, missing parts of the roof and a wall. Pteh will no longer be standing by the grave, and the grave itself will be slightly chipped. The light house, old tower, and the dock will also be partially destroyed. This is all that can be found in "Old tower".

In older versions of the game, the gameplay was quite different. Upon spawning, the player would find themselves on a grim, rainy beach. To their left, they could see an old, broken tower covered in moss and such. The player could go inside the tower and climb up the wooden parts until they'd reach the top. They would then find an invisible trigger at the top of the wall that Pteh is slouched against. The player had to walk along the wall into each crevice until the map becomes darker and shrouded in fog as well as the music changing to a slower pitch.

They could then jump off of the tower and go towards the dock that has now appeared along with Pteh staring out to sea on it. Touching Pteh would make his body disappear, as all the light he emitted would disappear as well. The player could now walk along the dock as more parts will appear whilst you walk. Removing Pteh's body completely would also cause two structures to appear on the island behind the player along with a path leading into the sea. After three more parts of the dock appear, a fourth will appear with a portal on it, causing the map to brighten again and the music to speed up. Enter the portal.

The player is now in a game called "Shore", a sub-game to Old tower. Here they will find a completely restored tower in a beach-like environment, a seemingly broken lighthouse and a radio on a dock playing music. There is also a closed portal frame and a mossy bridge leading to a grave with a grey wilted rose on it. Go over to the grave and touch the wilted rose. The atmosphere completely changes. The sky turns from sunny to a pitch black night, everything turns into a monochromatic shade of grey, the radio stops and instead, sad music can be heard emitting from the grave and Pteh appears at the grave, seemingly mourning someone. The portal frame will remain closed throughout the game. There doesn't seem to be a way of opening it, therefore marking the end of the game.

In one of its earlier versions, "Shore" consisted of just the new restored tower and the closed portal frame. The player could open the portal frame and go to a third sub-game named "Life at the sea" which was similar to the most recent update of the "Shore" with the exception that the player needed to unlock most of the map using the invisible triggers hidden around the areas.

Relationships

Dorment

Dorment is one of Pteh's friends. Dorment is seemingly a radio station that receives transmissions and such. Dorment's game is less about itself and more about the other about the other 2 myths in the trilogy of accounts.

UIose

UIose is a myth who is only friends with Pteh and is part of their trilogy. She is theorized to be Pteh's daughter and used to have a game of her own but it has since been privated. Not much can be said about UIose due to her being more of an upcoming part.

Theories

• A bomb was set and detonated where Pteh once lived and killed his wife
  • The player is able to see the outside world once in [WINTER] and it shows the effects of nuclear fallout where Pteh used to live.
  • A person (supposedly his wife) is seen to be slumped next to this part where you can see the outside world.
  • Prior knowledge would suggest that the bomb was set and detonated in Far City, Pteh's past home.
