'This mind feeds a soil abscess.— Ventrie

Ventrie is a Roblox Myth, most known for their game Directory and being friends with Jeyine. There isn't much known about Ventrie, but he seems to be very related to nature.

Biography

Due to how Ventrie's game is structured, it's extremely difficult to get a concrete story from it without a heap of theorizing and infering. We can however confirm that Ventrie is a sort of manifestation of nature and that they have an affiliation with trees with his bio once saying "The roots of the tree."

History

Ventrie's account was made on the 23rd of June, 2018. Their game, Directory, was made on the same day. They weren't active on their account for the next year and a half, until around the beginning of 2020 when they made their game public and became known. Throughout its existence on the site, their game has had numerous updates to increase the amount of accessible islands and to add new ones too. On the 31st of August, 2020, two badges were added to the game, these being "Artifact in the cave" and "The code within".

Two years later on the same date, a user named trouscht post a screenshot of some newly added text in the game, from a recent update. At the time, the rock that houses it didn't exist yet, the text only floated in the air.

On January 30th, 2026, the badge names and descriptions for their game were updated to be a lot more elaborate and esoteric. "Artifact in the cave" became "My word reshapes the space it so beautifully made.", and "The code within" became "This dirt is a harbor of knives, forever inward.". This date also marks the addition of the third badge, "Open your world To Me.".

Appearance

Ventrie has a green head, torso, and arms. Their legs being brown. For clothing, they wear only a shirt titled “TheRoots”, created by them. They wear two face accessories, "Flower Antlers", and "Satyr Horns". They also wear a face accessory called "Blade Of Grass".

Personality and Traits

Ventrie is rarely seen in-game, but when he is, he generally acts calm and quiet with little words being said. He will answer questions usually.

Game

Directory

Directory is a game that takes place on small islands scattered throughout the game. There are hidden triggers and more that are used to progress through the game by spawning bridges that connect the islands. It seems to be strongly related to nature. Walkthrough warning, please attempt to hunt before viewing, click "Show More" to view.

Once the player spawns, there is a small patch of grass on the same corner as the tree  on the island that the player spawns on. The player can touch the patch of grass to spawn a bridge to the next island. Once the player arrives at the other island, they will find some sort of statue with a button on it. Pressing the button will cause it to sink into the ground. The player will then need to touch a trigger on a grass hill on that island, which will make the next bridge appear. On the next island, there is a hole on the side of it that can be entered. Inside, there is a door that is locked. To open it, the player needs to say “Roots”. This will reveal two artifacts that need two rocks. The code can be found in Ventrie's bio, as well as their group role.

To find the rocks, the player needs to go back to the second island. There is a hole inside a grass hill next to the bridge to the third island. There is a similar hole inside another grass hill on the third island. The rocks are inside both of these holes. The player can then place the rocks inside the artifacts to cause two bridges to spawn. The player will also get a badge called “My word reshapes the space it so beautifully made.”.

Back to the top of the third island, the player can now cross the bridges that lead to a bundle of islands. There are more holes on the side of these islands. If the player falls down onto the platforms, they can find a keypad and a room with numbers on the wall. The order of the numbers is “9356782” with the “5” being on the side of an island in the distance. The player will earn a badge called, “This dirt is a harbor of knives, forever inward.” once inserting the code into the keypad. Soon after, another two bridges will spawn, leading to another small island inhabited by a sole tree. A trigger can be found to the right of the bridge's ending, which spawns yet another bridge to a taller island. Said island has a ladder leading up to it and, once at the top, another sole tree can be found along with a large hole in the side of the island leading to a miniature cave.

A single clickable stud can be found on the roof of this cave, which falls on the floor after being clicked 10 times. Doing this will spawn a bridge that is split in two, near its ending. This bridge leads to an island and a smaller, separated island. On the bigger island, a statue of Ventrie can be seen, and a rock with writing on it that reads, "Reality is only a construct of thought. Why do I choose to exist in pain? This world exists, and it exists for me. The next step lies in a place where I hold all the power. It is my world, but it is temporary.". The next trigger can be found to the right of Ventrie's statue. This will spawn another bridge, leading to an island with a shorter and a taller section.

On this island, the player will need to find 6 off-color studs to progress forward. It is recommended to get the studs on the bottom section first. A stud can be found to the right of the bridge's ending, in the grass. Another stud can be found on the side of the island, right next to a vine. Another stud can be found right next to the ladder, midway through, on the side of the island. Another stud can be found between the ladder steps. On the top, a stud can be found the side of the island, below a tree's roots. The last stud can be found on the farthest section of the island, in the grass.

After getting all 6 clickables, quickly flashing numbers that are randomised on every instance can be seen on the top part of the island. All of this can be redone as many times as the player once, if the player happens to miss the numbers they were given. After noting down the given numbers, the player can return to the codepad to input them. The buttons for the codepad fall off, and the player is rewarded the "Open your world To Me." badge. A third bridge also spawns in the area right after.

This is the current end of Directory.

Group

Symsation

Symsation is a private group owned by Ventrie which started off with 9 members, but has since gone down to 8, with CallForZall's departure from the group. While it does seem to take inspiration from groups such as Concinnity(), it is unknown what the real purpose of the group is, lorewise. It holds myths such as Geoberaknus and TRINUS_FEPITIUS.

Theories

  • Ventrie is a manifestation of nature, made to protect ancient lands.
    • He's coloured green and brown, showing the colours of the earth and nature.

    • He mentions nature a lot and his game is entirely about nature, similar to an environmentalist who would want to protect nature
  • Directory is an ancient land forgotten to time.
    • There are vines to be found everywhere, suggesting longevity and age
    • A few stony structures can be found around the place, suggesting someone was here
    • Despite being ancient, it has moving doors and buttons with mechanics, suggesting a possible scenario where the previous inhabitants of the place were technologically competent, similar to the likes of Atlantis.
