my child, whom I love— winslowhomey
Winslowhomey is an artistic, abstract-styled myth that is most popularly interpreted as a story of a father and what appears to be their daughter having a camping trip together. However, it takes a gruesome turn when the father is depicted to have drowned somebody at their campsite. They are also recognized for their previous ownership of acrylic aorta, and a possible relation to Winslow Homer.
Biography
Winslowhomey is assumed to be based on the real-life artist known as Winslow Homer, or an art piece related to him. From the depiction of the game, winslowhomey was someone who seemingly has a child that they love dearly yet also hate. This may mean that he has bipolar disorder or something of the like. He had been enjoying a nice trip with them on the Livø island, when they had suddenly changed their mood because of a realization that the child was imperfect. After they drove back to their camping spot where they had already set up. Winslowhomey proceeded to shoot the kid and drag their body to the ocean to dispose of it.
He is theorized to have been arrested for it and prosecuted at court where he retraced his steps when murdering their child. Instead of going to jail though, he was deemed incompetent and sent to a psychiatric ward rather than put into prison. There is uncertainty surrounding the additional motive of “this body”, as it’s possible that winslow’s child was saying that their own body was perfect, and this made winslow angry because he was full of themselves, or they were saying winslow’s body was perfect.
History
Winslowhomey made his account on 8/20/2021 and a day later, on the 21st of August, he would create his game, sleigh ride. A day after this, he would also create the group acrylic aorta and remained its holder until August. Over the next two weeks or so, winslowhomey continued to make his game until sometime around the 5th of October where he would make it public for everyone to visit.
Since the creation and release of winslowhomey’s game, he has been decently quiet, making no major changes to the game but still updating it now and then. The game’s last update was on the 11th of August, 2022. This wasn’t followed up by anything possibly signifying the finalization of the myth.
Appearance
Winslowhomey wears the “Eccentric Pilot” hat along with the “Smile” face. He uses a colour palette rather than clothes with his head and torso being coloured “Pastel light blue” and his arms and legs being coloured “Brick yellow”.
Personality and Traits
Winslowhomey is very rarely seen, making it difficult to pinpoint a personality for him. However, through the times he has been seen, mostly in discord, he has been relatively quiet, not speaking too much to anyone in particular. He says very little but can still get a point across fairly well.
Games
sleigh ride
Sleigh ride is a four-stage game focused on an abstract representation of important events involving winslowhomey and his likely murder of someone, potentially his child. The games are largely stud and plastic based with each game having an incredibly part-heavy but detailed sea and one or many islands. The gameplay mostly revolves around invisible touch-based triggers, the size of which makes the game a challenge to finish.
Upon spawning, the player will find themselves in the first of the four games, sleigh ride. This game has a pinky, brown ocean with a rocky brown island residing in the middle of it. Looking down at the ocean, the player will have to find the heavily transparent 1x1x1 blocks. They must then jump on this block and repeat the process, finding new transparent blocks until reaching the small patch of land in the ocean. On this rocky patch, the player can find a green button. Clicking on this button will trigger a large jumble of rock letters onto the island, followed shortly by another three within the ocean. These are presumed to spell out “I do not love her” and “Why”. The next trigger can be found in-between the top section of the “Y” from “Why”. This will trigger a word on the opposite side of the map, simply saying “Imperfect”. Following on from this, the next trigger can be found on the new word, specifically on the “F”. Coming into contact with this trigger will change a 1x1x1 block on the very end of the island to a heavily reflective version of itself, found south of the direction the player spawns, and will allow it to become clickable, teleporting the player to the next game, “this body”, upon being clicked and also deepening the reflective value of the block
The next place the player is teleported to is much more akin to a tropical island. A bright blue and yellow sea and an island with what appears to be windswept trees is what the player is greeted with upon spawning. To progress, the player must go to the back of the island with the trees and touch the third rock. This will lead to the appearance of “This body” in the water. The player’s next step is to find the next invisible trigger which can be found in one of the trees on the same island as the first trigger. It can be found on the leaves of the middle tree, and touching this will activate the word “Is” in the water, next to the first part of the phrase. To progress past this point, there is one more invisible trigger the player must find to complete the phrase. The final trigger is on the largest rock. Touching this will change a few things. The phrase will be completed, spelling out as “This body is perfect”, the map will become much darker and the island will gain an extension. Traveling down this extension, the player will come across a patch on the floor of four different colours, pink, brown, blue and yellow, dispersed randomly within the area. Stepping onto this patch will eventually teleport the player to the next game, “you filthy liar”.
Now the player has spawned in a boat, engulfed by a deep, grayish blue fog, and the ocean’s color is found to be a mix of gray and dark blue. To the left side of the boat, the player will then find that there are two small rocks, the second one being a trigger that reveals a path of rocks to the right of the boat. To progress further in the game, the player must then follow the rock path, where they will then find the next trigger. This leads to a small sand island, with blocks that supposedly form a model of a car. The player needs to then walk to the very front of the car, where they will find the next trigger. By touching this trigger, the player will have uncovered letters to the right of the car. Some of these letters are broken, or on the ocean making it quite difficult to produce words, however the word “super” is recognizable from the mixture of letters. The player will be able to see a path of letters going through the middle, they must then follow this until they reach the end, which can be acknowledged by the white button placed on top. These letters may spell something akin to “I supervision”.

In order to proceed further, the player must click this button. This will lead to more letters appearing, on the opposite side of the car. These letters are less broken and more comprehensible; they read, “Twice weekly”. The next trigger can be found at the top of the letter “C” in the phrase. This will give the central protrusion in the boat a trigger that can be found in the gap on the protrusion. Touching this trigger will make an overly reflective 1 stud block appear at the end of the island with the car. Clicking on it will make more small sandy patches of land appear in front of the player and standing on the patch furthest to the left will activate one final patch of land with another reflective block on it. Clicking this block will make a clunking noise and will teleport the player to the final game, “incompetent, your honor”.
This final place is much more orange than any of the other places have been, akin to a desert. There is one singular tree to be found along with a number of pinkish streaks going across the edge of the island and into the water. The first and last trigger here can be found underneath the pinkish streaks. By standing at the edge and angling the camera to face the player from the sea, they should be able to see one block of sand amidst the pinkish streaks that is a darker shade of ochre than the rest. This block is clickable and, when clicked, materializes a streak of land, trailing off to the right of the island. Walking to the end of this streak will abruptly cut the screen to black, play a splashing noise and teleport the player to a new, darker island. The player will find themselves in an area with two tents, a dock leading to the familiar ocean and a strange gray matter within there, segments of it appearing and disappearing at random times. These could be interpreted as bubbles. From this point, the player has reached the supposed end.
Groups
acrylic aorta
Winslowhomey currently resides in the “creative” rank of the group, along with DoloreSemper until they left. The creative role is assumed to be for games relating to works of art or artists, winslowhomey being a name based off of the artist Winslow Homer who is known for having drawn many works of marine subjects. It is also assumed that winslowhomey is one of the main owners of the group and had owned it for a long period of time before abenventilen appeared.
Theories
- The pinkish or gray blocks with the button on it within “incompetent, your honor” depicts a body being put into the ocean.
- When looking at the build at a certain angle, it looks quite similar to a body sliding or falling into the water. There are two legs still on the land and the body continues into the water.
- Later in the same game, the other tent that is next to where the player teleports to has the same pinkish color to it as the aforementioned blocks.
- Winslowhomey most likely killed somebody so it would make sense if this was a depiction of the body being disposed of.
- What could be interpreted as bubbles appear at the end of the game, potentially being the body entering the water or an incapacitated, drowning individual.
Trivia
- Winslowhomey’s game, sleigh ride, was the 2nd acrylic aorta game to be released to the public
- The first was Grelsant’s game, lotus ø, which was released to the public on the 7th of September.
- The Robloxian Myth Hunters’ Twitter posted about the winslowhomey myth on 6/24/2022, as their ‘Myth of the Week’.
- Winslowhomey has three separate unused places visible in their inventory, all having the name “livø” or “liv”. They were all created at the same time and seemingly just act as a hint towards a real-life connection.
- The first image on the Acrylic Aorta Twitter is a distorted image of a picture of nature on Livø.
