10/5/19— ZoruTao
ZoruTao is a popular account found in InterestingMyths' following section. It was also popularized by multiple videos created by Flamingo.
Biography
It is reported that ZoruTao actually has no story, or at least not a cohesive one that isn't jumbled toegther.
In the apparent jumbled mess of horror and war tropes that ZoruTao has, it seems as if Zoru's storyline follows a man facing severe trauma from an undated war that he served in. There appears to be many ties to religion and SCP related topics, probably signifying some sort of escape through religion and a life now lived in science.
It is unknown if a more clear story will be formed and released through his upcoming game(s).
History
ZoruTao originally created his account on the 25th of February, 2017. They created their first game "Exploration" three months later on the 23rd of May. ZoruTao quickly gained popularity, gaining over 15k visits and being followed by the popular account InterestingMyths. In May 2018, popular YouTuber Flamingo made a video featuring ZoruTao called "DON'T GO TO THIS ROBLOX GAME. SERIOUSLY". This video caused ZoruTao to gain a lot of popularity. Sadly, in late 2018, ZoruTao was hacked by an unknown user. This caused ZoruTao to go inactive for many years.
In early 2021, ZoruTao did briefly return, making a new game and changing his avatar as well. This was also when ZoruTao's group "Zoru?" was unprivated, meaning that anyone could join it. After this small burst in activity, ZoruTao disappeared again
In July 2023, ZoruTao once again returned. This time being neither the hacker or the original owner, but a third person. So far, ZoruTao has publicized and remade an old game named "戦士の休憩所", which was originally called "HELP". This game serves as a testing place for an upcoming remake of "Exploration".
