Biography

Due to the lack of appearances in Smiles Family media prior to his retirement, quite little is known about 6njm. 6njm has frequently alluded to plans for the account, even posting a few screenshots for unreleased games, although information surrounding these plans are limited.^[1][2][3] Due to these facts, it is near impossible to write a proper biography for 6njm.

History

6njm created his Roblox account on the 16th of December, 2018. It seems that prior to late 2019, 6njm was a regular Roblox user. The first mention of 6njm related to The Smiles Family was when he uploaded a t-shirt on 16th of November featuring the Smiles Family logo. Later on in December, 6njm would also upload a decal, which was later used in the game "Dan's Diner".^[4] This likely means that 6njm assisted in development for the game. In November, 6njm would create a Twitter account, and would begin tweeting. By this time, he had seemingly already joined the Smiles Family myth, becoming a somewhat known character. On December 8th, 2019, 6njm would tweet out an image, in which he announces the retirement of 6njm.^[5] Despite this, it does seem that the account continued to be active as a myth, meaning that this was likely just a brief retirement.

On December 22nd, 2019, the Roblox YouTuber Flamingo would upload his second Smiles Family video, titled "The Roblox SMILES FAMILY DINER...".^[6] This is the first and only appearance of 6njm in a Flamingo video. Throughout December, 6njm would often tease future releases, such as sending screenshots of games, or alluding to a future announcement.^[2][3][7] On January 5th, 2020, the group "6-N-J-M" was created.^[8] After this, 6njm would be consistently active on Twitter, interacting with fans of the Smiles Family and of himself. Eventually though, on January 27th, 2020, 6njm would post a similar image to his first retirement.^[9] Following this, 6njm would largely focus on his YouTube and Twitch channels, while still sometimes posting things related to the Smiles Family.^[10][11]

One notable event would occur on February 18th, 2020, when an account named "RIP_6njm" would be created, attempting to spread death rumors involving 6njm. He would quickly respond to this matter, dismissing the rumors as completely false, and asking the owner of the account to stop spreading them.^[12][13] At some point, likely in July 2020, 6njm would stop posting on Twitter. Eventually, he would come back in March 2021, although he would soon after delete his Twitter account. This was short lived though, as 6njm would soon return, teasing a future release on May 15th.^[14][15][16] This never realized though, as on March 31st, he would once again retire.^[17] Following this, 6njm has been largely inactive on Roblox and other social medias.

Appearance

6njm's most known outfit consists of a light gray skin tone, with a "1940s Style Blue Suit" shirt and pants. He also wore the "Downtown Denzin Fedora" hat, the "Vintage Glasses" accessory, and the "Furious George" face.

Personality and Traits

Not much can be found about 6njm, though he has portrayed himself as a mysterious force in the Smiles Family myth, with a solemn wariness towards the intentions of the Smiles Family as well. On Twitter, he could often be seen tweeting out philosophical or vague messages. He would also respond to people in the same mysterious, almost suspicious tone as that seen in the Flamingo video.
