I live in my house where I work as a farmer— Andwearde's ProfileAndwearde is a myth who lives during the early-Middle Ages as an Anglo-Saxon who utilizes Old English when communicating with anyone. After taking an exploration away from his village, he returns to it being pillaged, leaving him feeling guilty and alone. This myth has simplistic qualities in their gameplay, and is considered to be rather short. Despite initial popularity among hunters in 2022, Andwearde never grew to great recognition with its years of existence.
Biography
There is a limited range of interpretation for story beyond the clear line of events that Andwearde experienced through "Butan Burg". Andwearde began as an Anglo-Saxan[1] farmer during the Middle Ages where religion was prominent enough to where "unbelievers face death". For some reason, his village disliked or did not care for him, so it is believed he decided to venture for a religious artifact to prove he was worth something.[2]
After Andwearde traveled for four days and received the artifact, he returned home to find the place was raided. With nowhere to stay, he found himself camping on the land of a lord who wanted him thrown into prison. This did not hold Andwearde for long though, for he escaped through a weak iron bar and escaped to a new city that held the artifact. He decided to take the artifact back, but just ended up at a beer house. It is unknown whether Andwearde stayed at the beer house for the rest of his days, or the rest of his journey was just never depicted.
History
Andwearde joined Roblox on 2/11/2022 and created their game the same day under the name, "Ufeweard Mynsterstôw".[3] It did not take long for them to start earning small myth ranks within groups, and even have short interactions with reputable myth hunters such as nicosela6 and EntityOfTheCosmos.[4] Unfortunately, there are no records of any interrogations or valuable interactions with Andwearde. Although, it has been said by an active member of Bureau of Myths that there were unrecorded interrogations.[5] Additionally, an investigative report was produced by the group in April 2022.[6] This document provided brief interpretations of the story and progression details for most of the game. It was written by myth hunter, Phosphyte.

Throughout the next few months, Andwearde became slightly recognized as their game changed into "Butan Burg", and was reaching development completion. Eventually, there was a halt in activity from the myth and the hunters who followed it. At some point after this, Andwearde mentioned they were retired on their Discord account. There were not any known major updates to "Butan Burg".
Appearance
Andwearde has the appearance of an old medieval-times farmer with the "Skazian Peasant Tunic" and "Skazian Peasant Breeches". He also has the "Dirt" t-shirt to go along with the clothes. For accessories, he has the "Golden Anime Girl Hair", "Captain Beard Blonde", a Black Bead Necklace, a Green Canvas Bag, "Santa's Belt", and the "Dirty Bandaged Arm Prop".
Personality and Traits
Andwearde appears to usually be kind towards everyone when interacting with him, which happened quite often during early-2022. More notably, he always speaks in Old English or another Anglo-Saxon-related language. Outside of what appears to be adventuristic tendencies, there is not much else to say about Andwearde's behavior or traits.
Game
Butan Burg
"Butan Burg" first takes place at Andwearde's village where the player must go through a series of teleports by finding hidden texts of Old English, and translating them into code words to put through the filter. Each teleport contains a new scene of his story and badges can occasionally be earned from some. Unfortunately, the game was never finished and abruptly ends within one of the sub-places. Next, the player seems to be at Andwearde's campsite for some sort of exploration. Not much is here but the player can find another message on the log by the fire. The code should be "Four days" and they should now be at "Temple". This game seems to depict Andwearde finding some sacred tomb. The writing is now on the steps to the door and the code to it is the name of the "seer". "Jupiter" will open it and the player can enter the cavern to find some artifact. They will then be teleported to a pillaged village named, "Raid". Andwearde has returned his village only to find it burned to a crisp. A hint GUI automatically activates showing Andwearde feeling as if it was his fault for leaving them. At the top of the screen it reads, “None", "My fault", and "I caused the fall of the town". "My fault" can be used to get past this place.
Following this teleportation, the player can find themselves in "Night's sleep". Here, the player will be inside Andwearde's tent. If they attempt to exit the tent by clicking the flap, they will be greeted by a knight. The knight informs the player that they are trespassing, so in response, they will say "Go away". This will cause the knight to arrest the player, teleporting them to "foreign prison". Two prisoners sit inside the prison cell with the player, both having something to say. Once the player has spoken to both the prisoners, they can search around their cell where they may find an option to interact with a feeble bar of steel. After messing with it for a moment, it will break and the player may escape through a door at the end of the hall. This will bring the player to "New city", where they will find themselves on a path to a city constructed better than the previous one. Inside the church at the center of town is the artifact from earlier in the game, and it can be clicked. The player will be teleported again to "Beer house", where they can explore an almost empty bar in the middle of a stormy night. Unfortunately, there is nothing more to explore or discover beyond this beer house, marking the end of "Butan Burg".

Stede
"Stede" is a standalone game that is accessed through Andwearde's favorites rather than the game section of his profile. There is very little to gather from the game, as there is only a campfire on the top of a hill at sunset. This game was likely meant to be used to interact with hunters, hence the lack of content.
Theories
- When Andwearde acquired the prism artifact, it either brought bad misfortune onto him or fulfilled his wish.
- The prism appeared to have been sealed away under the name of the mythological God, Jupiter, one of the Roman Gods. The Anglo-Saxans immigrated to Britain around the time the Roman rule was ending.[7] Considering the temple the artifact was found in was under the name of a God, it may have some mythical attributes to it.
- When Andwearde returned home with the artifact, his village happened to be raided just before. For some reason, Andwearde feels responsible for his home being raided due to the "my fault" codeword. Either he feels like it is his fault for the raid because he wasn't there to help, or something he did caused the raid to happen.
- Stealing the prism from the temple may have brought misfortune to him and his people. In search of glory and respect from his people, he stole an artifact locked away in a temple undisturbed by anyone else while somehow knowing its location. Considering Andwearde is a farmer, he isn't experienced with exploring for treasures. Therefore, the artifact may have been undisturbed by locals for a reason. In return for stealing it, Andwearde's village was ruined with no praise left for him. Instead, he felt guilt for bringing the destruction of his home.
- A flaw to this theory is that if Andwearde knew of the misfortune the prism brought, there'd be no good reason to steal it back from the new city. However, he for some reason did steal it back from them.
- Perhaps Andwearde stole the artifact with or without knowing of its mythical abilities. Either way, the artifact may have sensed Andwearde's unhappiness with his village after being neglected, and granted him a wish. This may also explain why Andwearde felt guilt for the raid. However, it doesn't explain how Andwearde knew of the artifacts existence and was the first to steal it.

Trivia
- Andwearde created a Discord account two days after their Roblox account creation. With this, they joined servers like Robloxian Myth Hunters and RMH Myth Development where they occasionally attempted to have conversation. Beyond this, it appears to have been used for a single showcase in RMD.
- A handful of myth database projects follow Andwearde. The most notable are MythArchiver and GoodMyths, but a few lesser known accounts follow them as well such as myths4hunters, TheMythDataBase, and FindMythPeopleHere.
- Both the RMD Myth Awards and Myth Community Wiki Awards nominated Andwearde for awards in 2022 and 2023. The RMD Myth Awards had them in the "Most Historically Accurate", "Best Avatar", "Best Character Interaction", and "Most Underrated". The Myth Community Wiki Awards had them in "Best Myth Avatar" and "Upcoming Myth of the Year".
