<default>Myth Community Wiki Awards</default>
The Myth Community Wiki Awards are an award ceremony revolving around the myth community and the Myth Community Wiki. It recognizes the best wiki content, myths, and myth hunters of the year. The event is usually held at the end of every year.
History
In December 2020, BingBangRoadblocks58 made a series of wiki polls which were collectively known as the 2020 Myth Community Wiki Awards. Talks about an official ceremony date back to the summer of 2021.
On December 20, 2021, the 2021 ceremony was officially announced, with the categories released on December 24 and the voting ballot released on December 29.
For the 2022 ceremony, on December 30th, 2022, due to staff deliberations, it was decided that the ceremony would be hosted on December 30th and December 31st, making it a two day event.
To be eligible for a nomination, the Myth Community Wiki Award committee must've found a user's work to be deserving of one. The person/content must have fallen under the eligibility period which goes from November 1st of the previous year to October 31st of the ceremony year. The winners are determined by the committee’s vote, a public vote, and performance on the Myth Hot 100.
