BadPuffer is a myth by association best known for their relation to AngeredFish and GoodPuffer. He created his account in July 2019, and was quite inactive until their termination in 2022. He was terminated for having an inappropriate username. He is the person who committed The Grateful Accident and is now banished into the pit.
Biography
BadPuffer is one of the main antagonists in Ocean Terror lore. Before, he used to a regular puffer, before encountering WEDG, who took over him and turned him into his puppet. In this corrupted state, he attacked GratefulSalmon, killing him. After this, he was trapped in the pit, which has now become his home.
He can only emerge from the pit during a facility shutdown, where he is very aggressive.
History
BadPuffer joined Roblox on the 1st of July, 2019. This account was known to have been very inactive, only having a few known instances of activity. His only major appearance was in Flamingo's video "A disturbing Roblox hotel room...", in which he is mentioned and eventually is seen ravaging the Ocean Terror facility.
Eventually, in 2022, BadPuffer would be terminated from Roblox. It has been stated by the creators of Ocean Terror in a Q&A that he was banned for having an "offensive username"[1], although it is not clear why the name is offensive.
Appearance
BadPuffer's avatar has a black head, one black arm, black legs, a lilac colored torso, and a cyan colored arm, with no clothing or accessories. When a shutdown event happens at the facility, he has 5 tentacles on his back, and bright purple eyes in-game.
Personality and Traits
According to GoodPuffer, prior to his corruption he was a calm individual who loved to crack jokes. He was also supportive and tried to be positive no matter the situation. After corruption, he became much more hostile. If seen ingame, he will attack the player and let out a menacing scream when he does. He has a limited eyesight, and when killed the player must rejoin the game.
