Game(s)
cardburgh
cardburgh is crdbored's first and only public game. It was created in August 2020 and was last updated August 2021. The game was also developed in collaboration with unplg. The game has an old video game aesthetic, notably having a large GUI of a CRT television of the screen.
The game begins on a large island, covered in boxes filled with packing peanuts and having multiple structures on it. The structure closest to spawn features a small graffiti of sorts and seemingly has a pile of tires next to it. On this island are also stacks of cardboard and several tunnels leading to different islands. If the player enters the tunnel to the left of spawn, they'll reach yet another island with multiple tall structures on it. The structure closest to the tunnel features a large hole into the void and yet another graffiti in the lower part of the building. In the higher part of the island the player can travel around, and eventually will reach a dead end after climbing up a ladder.
If the player then returns to the first island and chooses the tunnel to the right, they will find yet another island, this one being very small and having nothing notable other than some boxes and piles of cardboard. If the player returns to the first island and enters the tunnel in the top right corner, they will reach another island with some tall and complex structures, although they do not feature anything notable other than this.
To the left of the top right tunnel is a bridge to yet another island. This island features another piece of graffiti and has a tall structure on it. If the player climbs this structure, they'll find a blank piece of paper and a ladder to an even higher region. After walking through two tunnels the player will reach another island. This island has it's own series of tunnels, with two of them leading nowhere, and the one to the right leading to a small island with a tall cardboard structure on it. If the player returns to the series of tunnels and takes the path to the left and then takes a right, they will reach another island which seems to not having anything notable on it. This is it for cardburgh.
