unplg is an inactive Roblox myth, known for their computer-themed myth and their game "mainframe". He first created his myth in 2019 and would gain massive popularity in 2020, eventually becoming inactive in 2022.

History

unplg created his account on October 16th, 2019, and created "mainframe" the same day. Despite this, it seems that began developing his myth in May 2020, when he created the first decals on the account^[1]. He would then develop "mainframe" and then, he created his game "kernel" on May 31st, 2020. He would very quickly become known, and would create his third game "cache" on the 3rd of June, 2020. The first mention of his account in the Robloxian Myth Hunters Discord server taking place on the 20th of June, 2020^[2].

In July 2020, the account "crdbored" would be created. This account is mainly known due to their association with unplg, as he has their games favorited, has them linked in his Discord server and follows them. He also has the same Discord server linked to his game "cardburgh". A month later, on August 25th, 2020, unplg created his games "mainframe2.0" and "index".

Later in the year, a myth hunter by the name of Dhallwial123alt had written a report for the Roblox's Myths Intelligence Agency about their short investigation on unplg. This was written on December 29th, 2020.

Eventually in August 2021, unplg would create his Discord account, and later his Discord server. In this server, he would post teasers for new games by him and crdbored. He would also release "cache" after having teased it for some time. Eventually "mainframe2.0" would also get released, which would mark the last bit of activity from unplg, as he would be inactive after that.

Appearance

unplg currently wears a "Monitor Head". His arms are colored white, has a blue shirt and black pants. Previously, he also wore a t-shirt accessory.

unplg speaks exclusively in lower caps, and seems to be nice.

Game(s)

mainframe

mainframe is unplg's first game, created in October 2019 and released in May 2020. This game has a green color scheme and by far is unplg's most popular game.

The game begins on a large island, with a large building on it. Through a window a figure can be seen, although the building itself can not be accessed. There is a path which normally is inaccessible due to a message prompt which states "insert sample text here", but can be removed by clicking the X button in the corner. Despite having an interior and many doors, the very large building at spawn can not be accessed. By walking across a bridge, yet another island with a large building can be found, although this one is also inaccessible. There is also notably a large hook which moves close to the building.

Attached to the second island is a bridge which leads to an incomplete island with four lamp posts. Attached to this bridge is a smaller one with yet another "insert sample text here" box. This bridge leads to another incomplete area with what looks like a stage but is likely an incomplete building.

kernel

kernel is unplg's second game, created in May 2020, and released not so long afterwards. This game has a red color scheme, and is notably one of unplg's most complete games.

kernel begins in large room, with piles of boxes and rows of wires on the floor, and the monitor seen in many unplg games. In front of the player when they spawn, there is a window which leads to inaccessible area. There is also a door in this room, although it can not be opened. Behind the spawn is a large corridor, which begins with a regular structure and eventually converting into an abstract cylinder shape. After some time the player reaches a crossroads, where the player has three roads to choose.

If the player walks to the right, they will eventually reach a very large room, with large windows on each side of the room. In this room is also an elevated platform with many boxes and a broken monitor. If the player continues forward they will reach a smaller room with windows on the walls and a pile of boxes next to some sort of vent. If the player walks up for a staircase, they will reach a room with a broken monitor and a balcony.

If the player returns to the crossroads and chooses the path forward from the spawn, they'll reach a small platform which is a dead end. To the right of the crossroads, the player will once again reach a dead end. This is it for kernel.

cache

cache is unplg's third game, created in June 2020 and released in late 2021. This game has a blue color scheme, and is very notably incomplete, as almost all the paths in the game reach a dead end.

The game begins on a small platform with four different paths leading from it. Surrounding the path are large cylindrical tubes with a light blue coloring. If the player walks straight forward from the spawn, there is a door which leads to a larger corridor. On the walls and ceiling are windows with a changing rain effect on them. On the other side of the corridor is an incomplete room, filled with servers. To the right of spawn is another door, although this one is locked. Behind the player is another path surrounded in a transparent cylinder, eventually reaching a dead end. To the left is the exact same type of path, also ending in a dead end.

mainframe2.0

mainframe2.0 is a remade version of the former mainframe game. It was created in August 2020 and was released November 2022. Interestingly, this remake is the same version of the game which is currently hosted on the "mainframe" place.

crdbored is an account closely tied to unplg, also known for their game "cardburgh". He is one of the few accounts tied to unplg which has an actual game, and is quite popular in his own right. He created his account in August 2020 and was last online in May 2022.

vrybm

vrybm is a placeholder account friended to crdbored, pmrgn and unplg. They created their account in October 2020 and was last online a day after their creation.

pmrgn

pmrgn is another placeholder account friended to crdbored and vrybm. They created their account in October 2020 and was last online in November 2020.

netwrkd

netwrkd is a placeholder account friended to unplg and followed by them. They created their account in August 2020 and have not been online since then.
