Hm.— GARRIS
GARRlS was an extremely popular myth with frequent activity stated around the year 2019, known for the mysterious lore his game Saratow, Louisiana holds, which appears to be the stage of many unexplainable events involving the supernatural.

That is not everything, but general experience and myth quality are important factions that led him to be a trending myth at his time instead of becoming well-known inside the Myth Community through foreign advertisement.

Biography

In the early 90s, GARRlS used to live in Saratow, a city located in Louisiana, an American state; where paranormal events frequently happened around Saratow’s territory, such as the appearance of unknown entities possibly generated and/or related to rituals that a certain amount residents or only a single citizen executes for unknown purposes, and also the fact that the time never seems to pass, although it can be harder to realize since Saratow is practically a ghost town, counting with a total of only twenty inhabitants.

It is believed the paranormal events are directly related to the disappearance of multiple residents throughout the years in Saratow, as it is possible to notice plenty of missing posters around the city, showing information such as height, age, and name of the missing residents.

The truth to this town was that it was a literal ghost town -- it was Purgatory. Each of those children had previously passed on and had reunited in the near-afterlife; in this case, Saratow.

History

GARRlS created his myth account and his game on May 10th, 2019. He began with a trio of characters, which would grow by many throughout the myth. The myth quickly gained traction and a fanbase, much of which would remain until its close. The Saratow myth as everyone knew it unfortunately came to an end later in 2019 due to drama behind the scenes.

For a brief few months, GARRlS's account was passed from one owner to a new one. Little is known about this temporary storyline, but his game then, ▒▒▒ Ω ▒▒▒, consisted of a gray atmosphere with a waiting room, desks with Macintosh computers (Considered "Model OMEGA"), signed chairs, and what were assumed to be workers of his company. This new myth did not take off as Saratow did, and the account was passed back to the original GARRlS, who now has Saratow's original place open as a legacy game.

Though it was not revived by GARRlS himself, an important aspect of his myth's history is the spin-off Eastern Saratow by another character in the myth, BRlCEON. This was a continuation of Saratow's storyline characterized by the setting of a previously unseen part of Saratow that brought about a couple of new characters and saw the passing of others. This new story arc saw as much success as the original Saratow, however, it also disbanded due to drama. This has since been resolved among most members and they are still on good terms.

Today, GARRlS’s myth consists of more than just a trio of characters, but twenty of them (except for GARRlS), which are: CLAlRlCE, BRlCEON, CURTlSS, GlLLBURT, KOLTlN, MAKCENZlE, JERlMlYAH, MALLACHl, TlMOTHlE, VANlSSA, CLARlSSA, ADDELlNE, FREDERlC, JAVlERE, RODNlE, IVAlNN, VALLERlE, WlNSLOW, TRlSTlEN & VlOLlT.

Appearance

GARRlS’s most recent avatar is a simplistic one consisting of the "Scarf ‘Do" hair, the "One Shoulder Canvas Backpack" for his back accessory, Nervous face for his facial expression & Garris’s Tanktop pants for his clothes.

Personality and Traits

Saratow:

One of the best words to describe GARRlS's character would be exuberant. He was kind and outgoing and was always eager to show new visitors around Saratow. He enjoyed basketball and competing with his friends in Saratow's arcade and welcomed anyone who wanted to join him. GARRlS did have a bit of a temper at times when he was frustrated, however, this was rare, although Winslow, who is currently missing, described GARRlS as a weird behavior individual.

▒▒▒ Ω ▒▒▒ (Omega):

Despite this iteration of GARRlS being around for a very short time, his character was just as developed here as his most recognized one. He was very kind in-game and loved to show people around his company. Although, it is apparent that he did not like criticism, as shown by him becoming slightly irritable when it was given. He enjoyed having money and paid all of his "workers" equally.

Game

Saratow, Louisiana

The Saratow experience consists of the representation of an American city: Saratow, which is quite small. It is the town where GARRlS lives and has many mysteries regarding its inhabitants and the historical context behind it all. The city is slightly foggy and the player will barely find any residents, as the town appears trashed and possibly abandoned.

When the player spawns within the game, they will first go through an introduction with a picture of some arcade machines and the "Play" button. The first house on the left within Saratow already has some peculiar things. The first floor seems to have a few objects relating to nuclear power, as well as there being some sort of object with two hands holding a rapidly moving substance. The house on the right is pretty normal, but there is an odd doll upstairs. It sits in the corner away from the group, possibly hinting at a situation between the residents. There are also some pictures of a character in the bedroom. Around the town are many other buildings to explore as well as small details across the streets.

Later down the road, the player can find a lemonade stand named, Timothie's Lemonade Stand'. Behind it is Fort BRICE0N, BRICE0N'S house. There is not much special inside except for a boarded-up, dark room with some entity trapped inside. Next, the player can find Javi's house which is not too different from BRICE0N's; they both have some sort of encaged monster. Across the street is MrUncertain's house, which does not seem to have much to it. Then, the player can find another house that's for sale, but this one has some robot in a closet. What its purpose is, is unknown. Outside of the house is a treehouse that can't be explored due to a broken ladder. Around the treehouse are some headstones, blood, and a newspaper that reads, "8 Kids Go Missing! If you know about the whereabouts of these children, please contact Saratow Police Department immediately.

On the other side of the street from the treehouse, is a church behind the houses. However, it seemingly can not be entered and has a cemetery on the side of it. Within the open area on the left of the church is some building. It appears to be some old, destroyed home, but really doesn't seem to serve much purpose. Around the corner on the street, the player can pass by "Kings Coffee" and find a large house. On the side of it is a boarded-up room and inside is a vent with another dark creature encaged on the other side. Multiple other large buildings can be seen on this street, but the ground is missing leaving the player unable to access them.

The right side of the middle street has a dark house that can not be entered, however, through the window corpses can be seen hanging from a noose. For the final notable finding, the player can go to the third street and the first house can be explored. Inside, many rooms can be seen with ritual objects, supposedly involving the death of the children who live in the town. What is all means is unknown.

Groups

Saratow

GARRIS left this group after his myth's retirement, though he remains its rightful founder. Most of the characters can be found here as well as some additional members.

Saratow: Anew

GARRlS made this group to replace the original Saratow group he left after his retirement together with some of the accounts that are related to the myth’s story as a new myth group.

Relationships

GARRlS had a remarkably positive relationship with each of Saratow's other characters. He and them were often seen having a friendly conversation or sometimes goofing off together. In serious moments, GARRlS and a whole lot of the other characters would band together and face the conflict as a team.

Theories

  • GARRlS is the one behind the rituals
    • One of the missing children, named Winslow, used to have a “hiding place” somewhere at Saratow before disappearing, and there are notes written by Winslow himself telling his personal opinion about GARRlS, which shows the player hearse to see GARRlS as a “weirdo”.
    • Inside the house where it is possible to find the rituals & bizarre aspects all over the place, it is also possible to encounter what seems to be a picture of GARRlS together with his potential parents.
  • The remaining citizens are taking providence against the entities'
    • It can be seen in a lot of places, such as “FORT BRICEON” & Winslow’s hiding place that they are trying and succeeding in capturing the entities they call “monsters” who are around the town.
    • The city still has some inhabitants living there, but absolutely NO resident can be found in any area of the game, except for a certain unknown child who can be found laying on a bed on the second floor of a house, which may mean the majority of the civilians are hiding from the monstrosities that can be making all those people disappear from Saratow.
    • Inside a specific house whose owner is unknown, it is possible to see a whole project on secretly creating robots and follow their development regarding movement and artificial intelligence overall, besides the fact that, in another place, it’s possible to see a robot half-buried on a random spot of the city.

Trivia

  • Following Eastern Saratow's retirement, one of its characters, TlMOTHlE, made a game joking about a Saratow 3. Sadly, it is not real and instead holds a message to the visitor in a free-model treehouse. Its name is Saratow Louisiana 3: Awakening, and it is still open today.
  • During the times GARRlS has been online after his myth's retirement, he has dropped a few fun facts about his character, such as the fact that GARRlS was nearsighted. To reflect this, his character now wears the Black Reading Glasses.
  • A while after GARRlS’s retirement, he unaffiliated with myth hunting groups such as Mythsman: Myth Investigation Service & Robloxian Myth Hunters.
    • He is not in any myth hunting ROBLOX group, possibly to avoid his myth past & drama through his retirement.
  • The "I" in GARRlS' name is actually a lowercase "L"
