TRASHCAN— Gleetust's current description
Gleetust, formerly known as J2417K, is a popular myth known for their many games, most notably "REVERSED (//)". Gleetust created their original account in May 2018, although it seems that the account wasn't used as a myth until 2020. Eventually, in 2022, the J2417K account would be terminated, leading to the "Gleetust" account becoming their new main account. On this new account, J2417K would create their most well-known game, "REVERSED (//)", which is an expansive, ever-changing game which includes several different badges, found by following different routes.

J2417K's story revolves around a physicist named "Ivy Bloom", who died in a car crash in 2013. Her memories were then placed into a program. Ivy was mentally ill prior to her death, and that led to her having delusions, such as her being a murderer who killed a group of people on a place called "Lemon Island". The antagonist of this game is known as "RED".

J2417K's story is quite mysterious, as it spans across several games, some of which being a lot less clear than others. J2417K's most extensive game, "REVERSED", also gives the most information regarding J2417K's story.

J2417K's story revolves around a physicist named "Ivy Stalini Allany Morecce Bloom", or simply "Ivy Bloom".[1] Ivy was born on September 1st, 1969, and is said to have lost their parents at the age of seven to a car crash. Within the field of physics, Ivy discovered the "entropy inverse method", which is an unexplained theory within physics, which supposedly revolutionized the understanding of spacetime and the structure of reality within the J2417K universe. They also invented a constant named the "Morecce constant", which is also a foundational concept within space physics.

On April 4th, 2013, Ivy Bloom died in a car crash. Prior to this, her colleagues are said to have somehow extracted her memories and transferred them into a program. In the game "REVERSED", players can open the Developer Console by pressing F9 to read a message left by one of these colleagues.[2] However, this message is not revealed all at once; instead, new segments are added to the console for every badge the player earns. Through these progressively unlocked logs, the colleague reveals that he believed he was close to Ivy, but upon searching her memories, he found no mention of himself. Despite this, he did discover something else: a secret kept by Ivy.

In the 1990s, a case of mass homicide occurred on a small island, labeled as "Lemon Island". Ivy had a belief that she was the one to have killed the inhabitants of Lemon Island. This is likely untrue, as Ivy is known to have been dealing with a lot of mental issues which could've influenced her to have delusions of this nature. It is frequently mentioned that Ivy had reoccurring dreams, labeled as "troublesome" by a colleague. These reoccurring dreams are likely manifested in the experiences in "REVERSED", and the game "FADED DREAM". In this same developer console message, it is also stated that "RED" was taking advantage of the colleague. In REVERSED, it is made clear that "RED" is a villain, as they can show up as jump scares, and appears in one of the game's endings.[3]

History

J2417K created their original account on May 27th, 2018, initially under the name "JAKEOBLABLA". However, the account wasn't actively used for myth-related content until roughly 2020. J2417K's lore wasn't entirely independent during these early years. They actually started out as a supporting part of BOX_MANISME's myth. At the time, BOX_MANISME was a member of a collective called "The Four Blox". Following BOX_MANISME's eventual retirement in late-2020, J2417K parted ways with The Four Blox to go their own way. From this point forward, J2417K began to significantly expand their own lore. This effectively flipped the dynamic, turning BOX_MANISME into a character within J2417K's new myth.

J2417K began producing their own catalog of games. While some of them are no longer public, the most notable remaining ones are "Lemon", "Meeting", and "The Box Mall 2". To organize their growing community and lore, J2417K established the "Myth in emulator" (M.I.E) group on April 3rd, 2021.[4] During this period, M.I.E functioned as both a central hub for J2417K's myth and a stepping-stone group for upcoming myths. The group featured a robust roster of associated characters holding distinct ranks, including Jaykele0, CantSpeakForHimself, and others.

On July 28th, 2022, the J2417K account was unexpectedly terminated by Roblox. This event caused massive structural damage to their community and games. The M.I.E group was rendered completely inactive, as J2417K could no longer update the group or modify ranks. The ban also severely impacted J2417K's games. Because they could no longer access the games to fix the bugs, "Lemon"—their second-biggest game—became highly broken, and most of its badges became permanently unobtainable.

Following a one-year hiatus, J2417K returned to the platform using the alternative account, "Gleetust". To preserve their past work, they successfully archived previous titles such as "Meeting" and "The Box Mall 2" onto the new account. On August 8th, 2023, they released "Faded Dream", marking the first official new game of the Gleetust era. Just five days later, on August 13th, J2417K released their most expansive and ambitious project to date: "REVERSED (//)". This complex, multi-ending game served to dramatically expand the myth's overarching story, introducing players to the tragic lore of Ivy Bloom. To replace the M.I.E group, J2417K created a new central community group on April 27th, 2024, eventually naming it "I v y ' s M i n d .".[5] While certain core figures like Jaykele0 and entities like The_RedMagic and TheBlue_Mg transitioned into the new group, many former members from the M.I.E era were left unranked, cementing their status as inactive figures from the myth's early history.

After the release of "REVERSED", the myth started catching the attention of different content creators.[6] On November 26th, 2023, YouTuber "wickedalfieboy" published the first video covering the Gleetust account. He played "Faded Dream" and an early demo of "REVERSED".[7] A few low-view videos existed before this, but this marked it as the first video about the new account's games. Over the next couple of years, another creator named "Boo" thoroughly documented the myth across three videos. Through these videos, Boo uncovered hidden, unfinished games on the old account[8], explored the massive May 2025 "REVERSED" update[9] and recorded an in-game tour of "Meeting" led by J2417K themselves.[10]

A major factor in the game's continued growth was its inclusion in "Surreal Game Finder", a game created by the user KICK_TRIP that randomly teleports players to bizarre and weird Roblox experiences. Not only did this provide "REVERSED" with a steady and stable stream of regular players, but it is also exactly how YouTuber "Senprista" discovered it alongside the other games in their video.[11] The myth completely blew up in popularity on August 31st, 2024, when Senprista uploaded that compilation. The video hit over 514,000 views. This brought a huge wave of new players straight to the game. The success caused a massive ripple effect. On November 29th, 2024, the major channel "CaylusBox" uploaded a very similar video.[12] CaylusBox played the exact same lineup of games as Senprista. Gaining over 633,000 views, this caused an even larger player spike, peaking at over 500 visits a day. Both of these videos were so successful that some other creators started making similar compilations, though they ended up with much smaller view counts.

Appearance

Gleetust's current avatar consists of "Gucci Wide Brim Felt Hat", the "Harajuku Flowy Hair- Black" and the "Black Anime Hairstyle Girl w/ Side Ponytail". They also use the "Error-Texture-Skin--White-And-Black" shirt and pants, as well as the "Tired" dynamic head.

Personality and Traits

J2417K is often described as a caring, funny, and creative person who keeps a mysterious profile. While they care deeply about their current projects, they are also very open about their frustrations, particularly when it comes to Roblox.

They strongly dislike the platform due to bad updates and the termination of their original account. This ban unfortunately ruined their older game, "Lemon." Because J2417K can no longer update or fix the game's bugs, they consider it a bad game and actively tell people to avoid playing it, despite it being their second-biggest game.

Game(s)

REVERSED (//)

(Main page: REVERSED)

"REVERSED (//)" is a myth game created on August 13th, 2023. "REVERSED" starts off in a bedroom, from which the player can make multiple decisions to impact which ending they may achieve. The game currently has 15 badges, which the player can get by reaching the many different endings. These different paths help the player discover more about the story of "Ivy Bloom", the main character of the J2417K myth.

REVERSED features an OST album composed by J2417K and their friends.[13]

Meeting

"Meeting" is a myth game created on July 3rd, 2020. This game takes place on a series of floating structures, located in a white void. The starting island is a slate building, with four rooms. On top of this building is a tower, a few NPCs and references to other games by J2417K. The goal of the game is to find a hidden phone number, which the player will use to discover subplaces.

Following the removal of J2417K's account, the game was archived on the new account as "Meeting (ARCHIVED)."

Lemon

"Lemon" is a myth game created on August 22nd, 2020. It's J2417K's second-biggest game. This game takes place on a small island in the middle of the water, referred to as "Lemon Island".[14] This island features multiple secrets, which the player must find in order to find out more about the story of the game. The game mainly utilizes hidden codes, as well as objects which the player must find in order to progress.

For now, the game is very broken and most of its badges are no longer obtainable. Because the J2417K account is terminated, they cannot fix it anymore. The only badges that are still working are: "Welcome back!", "The White Door", and "fake or real..".

It's the only game on the J2417K deleted account that doesn't have an archived version.

The Box Mall 2

"The Box Mall 2" is a myth game created on August 28th, 2020. This game is quite short, only consisting of the eponymous Box Mall, and a small building with a security camera. The player must trigger two events, and then the game will be completed. This game is a sequel to the game "The Box Mall", created by the user "BOX_MANISME".

The game was originally named "BOX STORE 2," but was renamed to "The Box Mall 2" after a revamp. Both the old and new versions are now archived on the Gleetust account as "Box Store 2 (ARCHIVED)" and "The Box Mall 2 (ARCHIVED)" respectively.

Faded Dream

"Faded Dream" is a myth game created on August 8th, 2023—the first game on the new account after a one-year break due to the old account's removal. This game begins with a short puzzle, which leads to a series of three rooms which the player must complete in order. The game also features two secret badges, which the player can get by using codes and discovering hidden areas.

Group(s)

I v y ' s M i n d .

"I v y ' s M i n d ." is a myth group created on April 27th, 2024.[5] This is Gleetust's main group, replacing Myth in emulator as a group to host the members of J2417K's myth. The group mainly functions as a fan group, in which fans of J2417K can discuss and find information regarding J2417K's myth. The group was previously named "(//)", but was later changed to "I v y ' s M i n d ." for unknown reasons.

Myth in emulator-(M.I.E)

"Myth in emulator" is a former myth hunting group created on April 3rd, 2021.[4] This group was J2417K's main group, and functioned as both a myth hunting group and a myth group. During the group's activity, it was decently active, acting somewhat as a stepping-stone group, for upcoming myths to find the spotlight. It was also used to help users find the users who were associated with J2417K, as they were ranked at the top of the group. After J2417K's termination, the group is now completely inactive.

Relationships

Jaykle0

According to the game "What happened?", Jaykle0 is J2417K's brother. He is also ranked in both the old M.I.E group and the new group under the names "JAY!" or "]@¥".

BOX_MANISME

Like Jaykle0, BOX_MANISME is ranked in both groups as "BOX MAN!!!!!" or "|30)(".

J2417K actually started out as a part of BOX_MANISME's story, but they continued and expanded the myth after BOX_MANISME retired. Now, BOX_MANISME just serves as a character within J2417K's myth. As for their games, BOX_MANISME made "The Box Mall" (originally called "Box Store"), serving as the prequel to "The Box Mall 2".

The_RedMagic

The_RedMagic holds ranks in both the old and new groups under the cryptic titles "Ṃ̵̭́̃A̸̳̟̮͛G̸͙̋̆I̸̲͖͈̋̌̔C̷̱̺̄̆" and "111 @ 6 1 ( 5". Within J2417K's games, this entity is often simply referred to as "RED" or "RED MAGIC". They have their own game called "Place", which players are secretly teleported to if they say "2417" in the game "Meeting".

Depending on the game, RED takes on different forms. It appears as a simple red cube in The Box Mall and The Box Mall 2, but takes the form of a scary red figure matching the account's avatar in Place and REVERSED. In REVERSED, it is made explicitly clear that RED is the main antagonist, featuring in jumpscares and one of the endings.

TheBlue_Mg

TheBlue_Mg shares the same cryptic ranks as The_RedMagic in both the old and new groups: "Ṃ̵̭́̃A̸̳̟̮͛G̸͙̋̆I̸̲͖͈̋̌̔C̷̱̺̄̆" and "111 @ 6 1 ( 5". They appear in the game "Meeting" as a blue cube with a face on it. During the tours that J2417K gives players in "Meeting", J2417K often refers to them as "THE BLU GOD" or "BLU LORD".[10]

CantSpeakForHimself, GFF_Duck and Nzuyki

CantSpeakForHimself is ranked as "Cant Speak" in the M.I.E group, and a video on J2417K's channel even featured their game.[15] That said, there is no clear connection between their games. On the Discord server, J2417K clarified that everything related to the old group is outdated and cannot be modified due to the original account ban. Because CantSpeakForHimself isn't in the new group either, they might have been part of the early myth but are no longer involved.

Similar to CantSpeakForHimself, GFF_Duck and Nzuyki each hold their own respective ranks in M.I.E ("Cụ Vịt" for GFF_Duck and "Nzuyki" for Nzuyki). GFF_Duck even has a game called "Ngôi đền sáng". However, since neither of them are ranked in the new group, it is highly likely that they are no longer linked to the current J2417K myth.

Theories

  • The Lemon Island case did not actually happen.
    • As the player collects a certain amount of badges, additional parts of the lore become accessible through REVERSED's menu developer console. One of the revealed lines states: "THE TRUTH IS.. SHE DIDNT KILL HER FRIENDS..- THEY WERE ALL JUST HER PERSONALITIES.". This supports the idea that Ivy's "friends" were not separate people, but manifestations of different parts of her mind.
    • The video "WHY" on J2417K's YouTube channel contains a QR code that reveals the message: "I bought a big island where we can live until the end of this war Stalini, Morecce and Allanyin will come too".[16] The important detail is that Stalini, Morecce, and Allanyin are parts of Ivy Bloom's full name: (Ivy Stalini Allanyin Morecce Bloom).[1] This suggests that Ivy may not see these names as parts of herself, but as separate people.
    • Additionally, another line in the developer console reads: "She thought she was the murderer of The Lemon Island case.- She tried to confess to the police but no one believed.". This suggests that Ivy was convinced she was responsible for the Lemon Island case, but there was no real evidence against her. The police did not believe her confession, which supports the idea that Ivy did not actually kill anyone.
    • Ultimately, the Lemon Island case may represent an internal conflict within Ivy rather than an actual murder case.

Trivia

  • J2417K won the 2024 RMD Myth Awards for 'Best Gameplay' and was nominated for 'Best Overall' (second place). They were also nominated for the 2022 RMD Myth Awards for 'Most Creative' and the 2025 RMH Myth Awards for 'Best Established Myth'.
  • Both BOX_MANISME and DattleDottle were members of The Four Blox. After BOX_MANISME retired, J2417K parted ways with the group to pursue a different route, while DattleDottle remained in The Four Blox. They no longer share any lore or myth connections.
  • Lemon has a fan-made remake titled "LEMON.OS", which was created by SneakyEXE.
  • J2417K is Vietnamese.
