Whoever saves one life saves the world entire.— Hawkins_Eggs' Description
Hawkins_Eggs, also known as Hawkins2k8, was a veteran myth hunter recognized for his high-ranking positions within the Mythsman: Myth Investigation Service. He was also the creator of several semi-popular myths, including Children of Astrion, which accumulated over 20,000 game visits largely due to his contributions as the primary developer.
He passed away from cancer on October 19, 2024.
History
Hawkins_Eggs created his Roblox account on September 24, 2008. Little is known about his early activity on the platform. Eventually, he joined Robloxian Myth Hunters, where he grew to be an active and respected myth hunter.
By 2019, Hawkins had become an exceptionally active member of the myth community. His work extended across a range of notable myths, including Awakeninnightmare and Grocery Gang, where he collaborated closely with other creators and hunters. During this time, he also began rising through the ranks of the Mythsman: Myth Investigation Service, prior to the groups closure.
In 2021, Hawkins_Eggs created NicholasBlackgolden, marking his entry into The Blackgolden Family myth. After the exposure of RekartBlackgolden, Hawkins assumed leadership of the myth, establishing the group Children of Astrion as its successor. Under Hawkins' guidance, the myth underwent extensive rewrites and transformations, with Hawkins bringing a fresh vision and new depth to its storyline. This approach helped him draw in an engaged and active audience, as he refined the story based on valuable feedback, ensuring the myth resonated with its followers rather then seeming like a stereotypical family myth.
In January 2024, Hawkins_Eggs announced the retirement of the Children of Astrion myth, citing ongoing concerns about his health. Unfortunately, on October 19th of the same year, Hawkins passed away from cancer.
