Biography

John's Diner is a community and game surrounding a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has fallen from mysterious dark entities from the diner's basement. The games area in which they reside within one of the many quarantine zones located in Trenton, New Jersey, as verified in the games description. In the year 1988, the Hollowshades have dominated the human population, and as a last resort, the American government has released ten quarantine zones around the country. John’s Diner, is located in zone one.

But, unbeknownst to the governments knowledge, John’s Diner might be hiding something completely unexpected. Originating from tens of thousands of years ago, one of the unique aspects of John’s Diner is their unsettling basement and walk-in freezer, located in the diner itself.

Unlike the rest of John’s Diner, the basement features a giant cave system. With a sequence of pitch black hallways and scaled rooms, the maze is constantly changing every year.

The establishment previously being a run-down safe-house to track human data and cryo freeze cells of species, before being repurposed and bought by ImprovedNightmare, turning it into John's Diner.

The name "John's Diner" comes from the establishments co-owner JohnPierce, who tragically went missing in 1987 and hasn't been seen since.

While the diner features warm lighting, fancy diner cuisine, and oldies music, the game highlights a more eerie side of the myth community with it's dark and lonely aspects outside of the diner.
