History
The Myth Union was first created on September 24, 2019 by ragwack. It served as an average myth hunter group and was a fair success, quickly gaining around a few hundred members. The group was quite active for around a few weeks to a few months before it went inactive due to ragwack losing interest in the group and went to focus more on his myth.
On December 27th, 2024, the groups Co-Head, averyemr, began talks with his friend Kiceba on creating a new myth hunting group. The original plan was that they would make a new group called 'Order of Myths' until they had the idea to ask their friend, ragwack, if they could instead use his inactive group, The Myth Union, and revive it. After some discussions between the three of them, ragwack eventually decided to give them The Myth Union for free as he felt he no longer needed the group. On February 7th, 2025, the groups ownership was transferred over to Kiceba, with averyemr becoming a board member. Ragwack was also asked to stay on and help and agreed and was given the 'Board Advisor' role. By this point, the group had only 198 members.
The new team spent a few weeks planning and game developing, as well as thinking of unique ideas for their group. On February 22nd, 2025, The Myth Union held it's official opening event which attracted around 100 people. The Myth Union has since grown at a substantial rate, reaching 2000 members by early June of that year, and has attracted many well known myths and myth hunters to join.

Trivia
- The groups current logo was made by CollapsingAbyss, while the original was made by Pagorami.
- The current version of The Myth Union's game, Union Headquarters, is based off of the group's original HQ game that was around during the time ragwack owned the group, except a more polished and improved version.
- Kiceba and averyemr were originally going to create a seperate group called 'Order of Myths' until ragwack agreed to give them his group The Myth Union instead.
- Kiceba originally owned a group from 2018 to 2022 called 'Roblox Myth Debunkers' but lost it after his original account that owned it, soabtw, was terminated on November 26th, 2022.
- This group was not originally his, the group was originally created on September 10th, 2018 by a user named 'landsis123' until they abandonded it, it went through a number of claimants/owners all of which abandoned it after a few days until Kiceba (at the time known as soabtw) claimed and kept it.
- One of the groups many claimants was actually ragwack, The Myth Union's original creator.
- The Myth Union's quick rise in popularity as well as high member activity might have been influenced by the concurrent release of the extremely popular Roblox game, "Forsaken", a Dead by Daylight-like game that uses a number of Roblox myths as some of it's playable characters, that caused the myth community to trend on Roblox, around the same time The Myth Union released.
