The RIS is an organization dedicated to the exploration and study of strange occurrences on the Roblox platform. Myths, oddities, and intriguing stories are all within the domain of the RIS, and these subjects drive our inspiration to pursue knowledge and new experiences. We idealize formality and professionalism in our investigations while valuing our community and the connections we make as investigators.
We aim to redefine the modern community of myths, storytellers, and beyond. The RIS boasts a diverse group of investigators from all walks of life in addition to unique myths and stories. Since the modern revival of the organization, the RIS remains dedicated to its mission, believing that the pursuit of knowledge is worth any risk.

History
Principal Director Suki (velvetsuki) founded the Roblox Investigative Services (RIS) group on January 20th, 2018. At the time, the group was characterized by a more formal, secretive approach to myth hunting. In specific, agents were given assignments and expected to report their findings; these findings were usually not shared with the public. All RIS operatives wore a uniform consisting of the RIS Rose and a black suit. Agents were trained on basic military formations and underwent training that ranged from finding objects to completing puzzles. Progression in the group was achieved by doing in-depth, consistent myth hunting; high ranks also used assessments to evaluate a myth hunter's practical skill and readiness for a promotion (however, to preserve the integrity of the tests, these assessments were classified). To become a RIS agent, one had to go through an application process to determine those who had enough skills.
The RIS maintained a sense of operational security by which levels of clearance were assigned to documents. After RIS analysts did investigations, they were often prepared into reports released for public viewing. These reports have become part of RIS's 2018-2019 legacy. Unfortunately, some documents were lost during an alleged incident (sometime from 2018-2019) where several high-ranked operatives went rogue. Said operatives vandalized and deleted investigation documents.
The group was decommissioned on April 11th, 2019, for unknown reasons. It was then recommissioned almost two years later by BedrockEnderman (current Subsidiary Director) on February 16th, 2021. The group remained largely untouched until February 6th, 2023, when it was suddenly transferred back to its original owner.
The RIS has a complicated legacy in the community. While it was relatively small, it had an unorthodox method of operation which allowed its members to create many insights. Furthermore, RIS's evaluations meant it could get more experienced myth hunters in its ranks. As a result, prominent myths (back in the day) seemed attracted to RIS. These investigations have proven significant in the archival of myths and their histories from 2018-2019. Of the records that remain intact from this period, notable documents include investigations on 1oria, Nolxm, and activvity.
