BilIium (previously named, Bill_Glim) is a popular Roblox myth usually depicted as a snowman. The myth takes place in an alternate reality version of the 70s where a cult, known as "Balam Latria", has kidnapped Billium and murdered his wife. His games often tell the story through cut-scenes or collecting keys to various locations. He is nominated for one award in the 2022 Myth Community Wiki Awards.

Biography

Billium's backstory starts on January 17, 1971, when his wife, Sarah Glim, wanted him to pick up books for their son, Jack Glim. While Bill was at the library, Sarah got a visit from a cult known as ‘Balam Latria’. The cult asked Sarah where they can find Bill and Sarah responds by telling them that he is at the library, which led to him being hunted down in the library and kidnapped. Shortly after his kidnapping, he is kept in a secluded area of his town’s subway for two months.

During his time being kidnapped, he was tested on with multiple different drugs/chemicals. The most important one was a virus known as, ‘Virus 27’. This virus turned his skin into frozen H2O and made him appear similar to a snowman. Bill would later on show symptoms such as “feeling sick” and coughing up blood. As this virus would worsen, Bill became much more similar to a snowman, even becoming partially immortal.

In November of 1971, Sarah would get visited by Balam Latria and a character named ValWendeline. In this encounter, she ended up getting shot and having her body left in the living room, with Jack nowhere to be seen. Bill had then escaped captivity only to find his wife dead and son missing. He was then accompanied by his boss and best friend, Henrry. Henrry is described as a “good man”, and they seemingly spend a lot of time together, even going on hunting trips. After Sarah’s death, Henrry offered Bill ownership of his company, Office Co, which Bill would later rename to Billium Inc. During the time he spent with Henrry, Bill would express extreme guilt of the death of his wife and disappearance of his son. He felt that they died because he wasn’t there.

Due to Billium feeling this guilt, Henrry hired three detectives, most likely for the murder of Sarah, to assist in finding Jack. It can be assumed that somewhere along the investigation, Henrry ran into Balam Latria because he became infected with a virus that made him see people as these humanoid one-eyed creatures. This made him go insane and began murdering people including the three detectives. He had also come across Billium which led to him having to be killed. After the death of Henrry, the guilt would become too much for him. On October 9th, 1972, he attempted suicide via hanging.

He failed this attempt because his virus made it much more difficult for him to die. Instead, one of the main ways Bill could die is to heat. On December 26th, 1972, several nukes were forced to set off and destroyed everything in sight. It is unknown why these nukes were set off or who set them off. There is an old radio message hinting at the fact it could’ve been the cause of Balam Latria. This put him into a coma for 22 years where he would eventually wake up in the post-apocalyptic world of Lodge. Lodge is an empty snow-filled plain surrounded by mountains and trees. Bill would make this place his home as he didn’t have anything else, until he found a dog that he named, Mack since it sounds similar to Jack. Later that day, he would find a giant orb and noticed that it was a living thing, so he gave it the name, Bell.

Afterward, he discovered odd noises coming from a cellar behind his house so he decided to leave it locked and to hide the key. At this point, his dog also came in contact with a virus that turned him into a sphere, so he named it 'Bal'. A few other creatures that are infected with viruses surround the house, as well as some other structures such as the house that belonged to Eric Glim. Inside Billium's attic is hospital records about him that reveal his full name, Billium James Glim, and health problems like anomia, head injuries, head & back problems, as well as having to deal with c-PTSD. He has also shown to have problems with remembering things from before his coma like his father.

Billium also goes through many attempts to reunite with his son. The two have been looking for each other for a long time and occasionally, there will be scenarios where Jack visits Lodge. Any encounter between the two results in the death of either Bill or Jack. These are always bad endings and they happen because either Jack doesn’t trust that Bill is his dad, since he doesn’t recognize him in his snow form, or Bill doesn’t believe that anything that is happening is real, resulting in Bill killing himself with a hot knife. A happy reuniting is yet to happen.

History

BilIium created his account on November 12th, 2018. He created his first game, 𝓞𝖋𝖋𝖈𝖊, on March 30th, 2020. His second game, 𝕷𝖔𝖉𝖌𝖊, got created on April 21st, 2020. 𝕯𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖑𝖔𝖕𝖒𝖊𝖓𝖙 was created on July 26th, 2020. A game that is not a part of the original story - 𝕷é𝖌𝖌ö𝖒𝖇 - was created on August 5th, 2021. His, as of now, last game from the main story, 𝖆𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖓𝖆𝖊𝖚𝖒, got created on February 4th, 2022.
