Ο Αμάριος, το αγόρι που τα είδε όλα.— DownAtTheCreek
DownAtTheCreek, also known as Paralos is a popular myth whose story takes place in Rhodes, Greece. During this time there was a war in which Creek most likely participated in. Creek’s son, Amarios, lived to survive the war while Creek died in battle, later to be granted life from the gods. Creek’s games showcase this story and show Amarios’s journey as a young boy who survived a war as well as Paralos’s journey as a father searching for their son.

Biography

The story takes place in Rhodes, Greece. During this time a great war took place between Greece and Rome; the only boy who survived the flames and lived to experience the end of the war was Amarios. Amarios had a father named Paralos, who is Creek. Paralos most likely died during the war as men from each country had to fight. Traumatized from the incident, Amarios watches the stars to take his mind off of the pain of losing everyone. Amarios later fell into a well by the creek and died, bringing him down to Wasteland. Wasteland is a hell-like area where others are seen to be suffering. Here he lived in an eternity of pain and suffering.

Amario’s father was given life from the gods, the reason why is unknown. He lived far into the future where an incurable, deadly virus spread. Amarios’s father traveled the universe in search of a cure, most likely searching for Amarios along the way. Coming back, all life was already extinct, causing him to spend the rest of his time mourning, wondering what he could’ve done to have helped his son. Paralos, Amarios’ father, ended up surrounded by infected citizens. He faints to later wake up in a snow-filled area with some shelter. There is no food here to keep Paralos alive and he wishes to return home. Paralos dies and is sent to Heaven, but Amarios was not there and Paralos never saw his son. Paralos’s search for Amarios ended on February 28th, 2021.

There are varying ways of progression, including triggers, codes, riddles, and more. Each game hides pieces of symbolism that Creek claims are overlooked by hunters.
