The Martian War
Prior to the current day, there was a Martian war which took place on Homeworld 1. According to Spickens, evil Borbs invaded the planet looking for resources, which led to the slaughtering of many Martians which came in their way. After leaving, the land that was left was barren and dead, covered in ash with trees barely left standing. It has been stated by Spis and Spickens that a small group of Martians survived this attack, and fleed to a nearby planet. This planet is the one depicted in "It came from above" and is referred to as "Homeworld 2" by the Martians.
In a later update to the game, a teleport to Homeworld 1 was added after the white screen. This showed a planet with multiple dead martians and a mysterious UFO which crash landed in the middle of the planet[1].
Election Day
After the Martians had settled on Homeworld 2, they built a large wooden stage and put up campaign posters on each side. This was the beginning of the Martian Election. The next day, Spickens announced that an election would be held, with the three canidates being Spis, Spickens and Spaggle. The election resulted in Spaggle winning. He then held his first pep rally.

At this rally, he revealed a mysterious underground machine to the Borbs present. This machine had the ability to splice Martian DNA. Two volunteers stepped into two chambers, those being Spoo and Spmaerne. Upon turning on the machine, it began to rumble and shake, and after a few seconds, the Borbs in the audience noticed there was something in the third, previously empty chamber.
This was Spoggers. At first he was quite confused, but was quickly embraced by the Martians and the Borbs as one of their own.
The Murder of Spickens
One day in late 2021, Spickens announced that a Martian Olympics event would be hosted. The winner of this event would win a special Golden Borb outfit[2]. Later that day Spoggers posted an announcement in the Martians Discord server that he had not heard from Spicken's for some time and that Spaggle was the last Martian seen with him. It was then stated later that day that Spickens was dead. With Spickens dead, Spaggle declared that there would be no more elections until further notice, and he would be taking charge for an extended period. A few weeks later, a memorial for Spickens was arranged by Spoggers. The event went as planned until the last couple minutes, when Spoggers mentioned that Spaggle had told him that Spickens fell down the stairs. This was the supposed cause of death, but was heavily contested due to there being no stairs anywhere at the time of the murder.
Later on, Spoggers called on Spaggle to return to Homeworld 2. Once he arrived, Spis instantly started questioning him, but Spaggle insisted he had no idea about what they were talking about. Spis then sent Spoggers to investigate Spaggle's room, and inside a hidden compartment in the wall was found. In this hidden compartment was the deceased body of Spickens[3].
This led to Spis holding Spaggle at gunpoint, demanding an explanation from Spaggle. Spaggle claimed he had no idea why the body was there and that Spmaenre framed him. While Spaggle and Spmaenre had minor problems in the past, there was nothing that major which would explain why Spmaenre would do this. It was concluded that Spickens was killed with some weapon, but not a ray gun, as he was not disintegrated.
After a long and strenuous interrogation, Spoggers began searching Homeworld 2 for a way to bring Spickens back. It seemed all hope was lost until he realized he could use the machine in the basement which was used to create Spoggers in the first place. They loaded the corpse of Spickens into the chamber, and used Spaggle as a DNA donor for him. After switching on the machine, the only thing to materialize in the third chamber was a small blob. It seems the machine had failed. This blob was living, and while it couldn't move, it could consume things, most notably rocks. They decided together to keep the blob alive, and name it "Nibbles". It now stays with Spaggle in his room.
While they obviously were unable to bring back Spickens, this was still seen as a small victory for the Martians. After finding more Glorb to power the machine, they tried once again to clone Spickens, this time with Spis being the DNA donor. After turning on the machine, the whole machine became blurry, and when the blur had cleared up, a figure could be seen in the 3rd chamber. This figure was itcamefromwithin, or Sporg.

As soon as Sporg stepped out of the chamber, he instantly began attacking people, yelling for the Martians to stay back. He then began chasing Spaggle throughout the underground area, eventually being captured by Spis and placed behind a massive gate. Due to Spoggers still technically being a child and being gullible, he gave a ray gun to Sporg, as they had done to him when he first exited the cloning chamber. Sporg used this to escape containment. Due to this situation, Spaggle and Spis began arguing, with Spis thinking Sporg should be killed and Spaggle wanting to keep Sporg alive. All of a sudden, Spaggle drew his ray gun and shot Spis in the head. His only explanation for what he did was the "he did what he had to". After this, Sporg escaped Homeworld 2 and Spis was burried.
Investigation
A day or two after Spis' death, a Martian spotted Sporg ingame, which led to several Borbs joining. Upon realizing he was found, he brandished a new ray gun which he had created. His ray gun was supposedly an updated version of the gun which Spoggers had given him originally. The Borbs asked Sporg what he was doing there, and it was discovered he was investigating the death of Spis. One of the Borbs asked him why he cared, and he revealed he had been producing an advanced version of the Glorb used to power the Martian machinery. He wanted to ask Spis about this, as Spis was his only surviving parent. After digging up Spis' casket, it was revealed there was no body inside. Later that day, Spoggers posted a few images in the Homeworld 2 Discord server[4]. These images showed parts of the map with mysterious figures hidden in the images, with one of the figures looking to be Spis.
The last updates to the Martian myth was the introduction of Brokebustors to their lore, which resulted in Spoggers changing his appearance on Discord among other things. Another update was also made showing the Speel's room had been blown up, and in the room was Speel himself, deceased. These were the final things which happened in the myth, as it went inactive after this.
History
itcamefromthesky created his account on the 11th of October, 2021. Only a day later the account was first mentioned in the Robloxian Myth Hunters Discord server by the user "Uyeda"[5]. Later on the 14th, the myth was once again mentioned, but this time in more detail. It seems the myth was getting very popular very quickly, as the account was tweeted out by the RMH Twitter as apart of their weekly "Myth Of the Week" posts[6].
The myth progressed in recognition on November 29th, 2021, when itcamefromthesky attained the "Established Myth" rank in Robloxian Myth Hunters.[7] Early 2022 was also when the controversial user 5alware (at the time called Autsuko) was revealed to have owned the myth. This led to the myth's ownership being transferred and a disclaimer being added to the description stating that Autsuko was no longer involved with the myth[8]. During the year of 2022, itcamefromthesky would continue to be active, with updates such as a stage, an underground area with rooms for each Martian and a teleport to a second game. They also conducted one notable event which involved a president for the Martians being elected. This resulted in "strangeglowinglights" becoming president of the Martians. In late 2022, itcamefromthesky would go inactive.

Later on, in mid-2023, the itcamefromthesky myth would get revived, with it this time being led by "invadersfromabove". At the time of writing this, the myth is inactive and all the members seem to be retired from the myth. Likely around this time, an update was made to "It came from above" that reverted the place to an old version without two previously accessibly teleports.
Controversy/Drama
itcamefromthesky is considered a controversial user due to the two known owners, 5alware and monopolistic, both being controversial users. This is mainly due to their association with the group "Injustice Legion" and their toxic behavior throughout their early times in the community. Since around 2021, when 5alware lost access to the account due to him being controversial, 5alware has become much more respected in the community, with him being forgiven by others. The same can be said for monopolistic, although both of them are still heavily controversial due to their past actions.
Appearance
Originally, itcamefromthesky had a fully purple outfit, with the "Classic Alien Face" accessory. This format for outfits was used by all the Martian accounts, with them all having a fully colored outfit and an alien face. Later on, the aliens gained a pant accessory called "tinfoil man", which was likely added due to Roblox deleting the pants used to have a fully colored outfit.
Personality and Traits
When in game, all of the Martian myths, including itcamefromthesky, spoke with poor grammar and were quite friendly towards players. It was common that the Martians would hold events in game where they all sat on stage and spoke in character. They also referred to humans as "Borbs" for unknown reasons.
Game(s)
It came from above.
It came from above takes place on a large grass island with a classic Roblox aesthetic, including 2006 Roblox stud textures and trees in the style of older Roblox games. This was the main place many of the Martians would appear at and interact with hunters. There was not a large amount of progression available despite the large interest from hunters. Trigger mechanics are used still, but originally, there were two instances of teleporting mechanics. These pieces of content were unfortunately removed "temporarily" in what appears to be 2023.

Scattered around the map are multiple bodies of dead astronauts, and multiple stone spires. If the player touches the top of all these spires, alien figures will appear on top and a white screen will fade in. On this screen, these words will appear:
"It came from the sky."
"We saw them flying."
"Martians of Space."
"Odd colors everywhere."
"Scary sounds flashing."
"Strange Glowing Lights."
"They're out of this world."
Other than this, notable objects in the game which can be found are a radio playing music, a large stage which the Martians used to conduct events and an underground area which can be accessed by finding the entrance located in the top left corner of the map. This area contains a larger room which contains some sort of technology and a possible portal device, although it does nothing. There are also multiple rooms for each alien, most of which not featuring much except smaller details relating to the overall lore of the myth.
Group(s)
Home Planet.
"Home Planet" was the original group created by itcamefromthesky for the Martians myth. The group was created on the 11th of October, 2021 and remained as the main group for the Martian myth until July 2023, when "The Martians" group was created to replace it. In this group, itcamefromthesky had the "Greoup Holder" rank, while the other Martians had either the "Martians" rank or the "Ledor President" rank, for specifically invadersfromabove. This group really only acted as a support group and formal connection of aliens to the myth.
The Martians.
"The Martians" was the second group used for the Martians myth, this time being created by invadersfromabove. In this group, itcamefromthesky had the "MARTIANS" rank, alongside two older members of the group and five new additions to the group. As of writing this, "The Martians" group has been quite inactive, and is much smaller that the older "Home Planet" group in terms of members. Again, the group was just used for support and formal connections of characters.
Relationships

invadersfromabove
invadersfromabove, also known as Sporg, is a red Martian. He is currently ranked as "Ledor President" in the original Home Planet group, despite him not having won the election in their lore. They are also the owner of "The Martians" group. It's unknown what their relationship with itcamefromthesky is like, but they seem to be friendly with one another.
Originally, in the myth, invadersfromabove was the account used for Spoggers, the first Martian created in the cloning device created by the Martians. This character was quite timid and unsure of what was happening around him, but as he adjusted to life, he became quite skilled with Martian ray guns and was very active in the myth. The name Spoggers was actually decided by the Borbs during the event which introduced him.
theyreoutofthisworld
theyreoutofthisworld, also known as Spoo, is a white Martian. He is regarded as a master war strategist and was likely a Gen 1 Martian. He seems to be friendly towards itcamefromthesky
martiansofspace
martiansofspace, also known as Spiggle, is the main computer expert for the Martians. He is the only Martian to own a piece of Borb technology. He has previously been described as a very neutral character.
strangeglowinglights
strangeglowinglights, also known as Spaggle, is the winner of the Martian Elections which took place in October 2021. He has been described as very welcoming and polite, and has great relations with the Borbs and is regarded as a good leader. It has been speculated by some that he is slightly sinister, but it's unknown if this is true.
itcamefromwithin
itcamefromwithin, also known as Sporg, is described as a hostile Martian. He was the result of a cloning experiment which failed partially but did succeed as it did result in a living subject. Sporg was seen as evil by all of the Martians except Spaggle, who pleaded for him to be kept alive. This led to the death of Spis, as he insisted that Spaggle should be left alive. Currently, Sporg is missing, as he flew away with a UFO to an unknown location.
oddcolorseverywhere
oddcolorseverywhere, also known as Spis or Spig is a yellow Martian. Originally, he was only able to utter the word "Spis", but as time went on it was discovered that he was able to speak with the help of a radio. This discovery led to the idea that Spis has Dissociative Identity Disorder, and has a second personality named Spig. Spig, unlike all the other aliens, speaks in perfect english and is described as a soldier in the Martian war. Spis also produces a strange bleu substance called "Glorb" which is supposedly what the Martian ray guns use. oddcolorseverywhere is currently no longer a member of the Martians group, which may be due to his demise or due to him simply leaving the myth.
scarysoundsflashing
scarysoundsflashing, also known as Speel, is a cyan Martian. He is said to be obsessed with monkeys, despite him never having been to Earth. He is a sound mixer and DJ for the Martians, and is the creator of the song which can be heard from the Radio in itcamefromthesky's game. He seems to be quite passive, and is friendly towards all Borbs. He was Spickens' right hand man, and ran with him in the Martian Elections and his VP. He is no longer in the Martians group and is seemingly retired.
wesawthemflying
wesawthemflying, also known as Spmaenre, is the head mechanical engineer for the Martians. His machines and inventions help create the crazier aspects of the Martian myth and likely created the cloning devices used to create Sporg and Spoggers. He is said to be neutral, but notably has a slight dislike for Borbs.
theylandedhere
theylandedhere is a mysterious account as there is little to nothing known about them. They are a member of the original Martians group and is friended to itcamefromthesky, but there is no documented interactions with them.
oddshapeseverywhere
oddshapeseverywhere is an orange Martian. They are a member of both the original and second Martian groups and are friended to multiple Martian accounts. It is believed that they are a new account for the character "Spis", as they both have similar usernames and the original Spis account has been inactive for at least two years.
Other Martians from "The Martians"
Five other Martians were introduced with "The Martians" group owned by invadersfromabove. These were eeriecosmicintruders, theyrefromthestars, weirdflyingobject, downfromthestars, and abeamshotdownfromit. There has been little development with any of these five Martians, nor has there been any reordered interactions. Therefore, almost nothing is known about these individuals on a deeper level than their accounts.
Theories
- At some point, the Martians or ancestors of them that live among Homeplanet 1, visited Egypt and built the pyramids.
- An earlier version of "It came from above" had sub-places that could be accessed through teleportation.[9] One of these places was in what could be assumed to be Egypt based on the desert environment and similar structures that the real-life location is famous for.
- Additionally, these real-life structures have theories speculating that extraterrestrial beings once were on our planet, and specifically interacted with the Egyptian civilization. Since the Martians are already aware of real-life creations like "bogos binted", they may also know about these theories.

Trivia
- The "Bogos Binted?" phrase commonly used by the Martians comes from a 2018 meme, first posted on Tumblr.
- The original group for the Martians, "Homeplanet", had a Discord server to go with it along with a handful of dedicated accounts for the aliens. The server and seemingly the accounts have been deleted, and records are unfortunately lost.
- itcamefromthesky is friended to many notable myths, such as Addec, Bhindism and Billium. Surprisingly, he is only friended to two myth hunters despite the many interactions with myth hunters. These hunters are Nethars and 0verdesire.
- Martians are exclusively male, and reproduce asexually. They do this using seeds within themselves, which later get planted once the alien disintegrates with a Ray gun.
