Biography

Before Fame

The story of Mr. Hollywood began on January 5th of 1917, when he was born. During their school days, the brothers did not have many friends in school due to rumors spread about their family by other parents, causing their classmates to fear them. Despite this, Hollywood, known back then as film enthusiast Edward Winston, excelled in school, earning him a scholarship to Harvard. Here, it is unknown as to which degree he pursued, but he met someone who would stay with him for the rest of his life: the woman known today as Mrs. Hollywood.

After completing college, Edward and the soon-to-be Mrs. Winston got married. However, fate threw a curveball at the future Mr. Hollywood the day after when his childhood home burnt down; turning his mother, grandfather, and twin brother to ash.

A Turn of Fate

A few years later, the date now being December 8th of 1941, Edward was drafted into the American navy in World War 2. He stayed in the navy until the end of the war, but not without unfortunate consequences. One day on the naval vessel Edward fought on, a German submarine launched two missiles into the side of the ship. The resulting explosion happened to be dangerously near where he was standing at that time - leaving scars that are the reason behind why he always dons a mask.

When Edward Winston returned from battle, he was greeted with a great surprise; he had four children by Mrs. Winston, three sons and one daughter, waiting for him at home. The daughter was the oldest of the bunch, and the three little boys were triplets. Unfortunately, three of the four are not around today, as one of the boys were kidnapped and the daughter, along with one of the remaining twins, are theorized to have passed on in a second fatal house fire in 1953. Of the four, only one child survived to adulthood: Larry Winston, the future museum curator of the Famous Movie Studio.

A Chance Encounter

One day, back on an unknown date in 1949, the soon-to-be celebrity Mr. Hollywood stumbled upon an unforgettable sight in the Himalayan mountains. He had returned from WW2 by this time, and was now the head of a small movie studio in Hollywood. While filming his first big movie in these aforementioned mountains, he stumbled across a cave in which he met the figure whom he refers to as the Goat Lord. He paused everything, writing the note in Image 1, and decided to have a chat with him. During this fated rendezvous, the Goat Lord promised Hollywood everything he could ever ask for: Fame, Money, and Power in excess, all for a small price. This price was to create a place for him to reside in the Studio (The Pit) and, in Mr. Hollywood’s words, “The Hearts of Innocent people, a Price I am willing to pay for my dreams.”

From then on, OlMrHollywood has devoted his life to the Famous Movie Studio, fulfilling the Goat Lord’s requests and turning the defaced people into the stone workers that are now prominent in the Studio’s life.

History

OlMrHollywood, known as MrFlyPants123 at the time, joined Roblox on January 22nd of 2019. His account existed as a normal Robloxian for almost exactly a year before his first game, "Famous Movie Studio!", was created on January 13th of 2020. During this early period of 2020, he formed the group "Mr. Fly-Pants’s People" and the group’s first Discord server. This group and server lasted until August 1st of the same year, which is when the community migrated to Hollywood’s current group and Discord server.

Not too long after this migration, the second iteration of the Famous Movie Studio was released. Under this version, he led his group to higher popularity and created two new games; "Shady Side of Hollywood" and "The Hollywood Bowl", added a broad variety of teleports to the Studio, and formed the Studio’s official Twitter account, @FamousMovieStu1. It was under this era of the Studio when Mr. Hollywood changed his username to what it is today.

In the first two months of the next year 2021, the Studio experienced the most exponential growth in its history. Upon receiving the coveted rank of Renowned Myth in Mythsman, OlMrHollywood has strived for even greater heights by introducing three new characters in January, publishing a massive third revamp to the Famous Movie Studio in February, and establishing even bigger goals for the future. However, the account went inactive shortly after and wasn't seen until August 2023, when he left all his groups, even the ones he owned, and joined Myth Investigate. He also started updating his own games once again.

Appearance

OlMrHollywood wore a glamorous ensemble fitting of a millionaire. He had a Maroon Suit further embellished with the Transparent Suit t-shirt, complete with an Ermine Cloak and a Silver Epaulette on each shoulder. His additional accessories included the ROBLOX U Top Hat, Overseer Lapel Pin, Intergalactic General mask, and the Goat skull necklace, which likely alludes to the Goat Lord. When in-game, Hollywood is normally taller than each of his visitors.

Personality and Traits

Akin to his appearance, Hollywood could be described as a grand man with a bold personality. It was not uncommon for him to speak entirely in capital letters, especially when he was in a great (or not so great) mood. In-character, he welcomed visitors of his studio with open arms, and often shared stories pertaining to his biography. Although, that did not stop him from doing whatever was necessary to keep his secrets to himself and to preserve his deal with the Goat Lord.

Games

Famous Movies Studio!

"Famous Movie Studio" is a myth game created on January 13th, 2020. The most well-known version was created on February 8th, 2021. The game showcases OlMrHollywood's studio, including the darker mysteries which can be uncovered.

The player spawns at the entry to the Famous Movie Studio, with the parking lot to the left and the lobby straight ahead. Following the path past the lobby leads you throughout the first floor. This floor is fairly small, and its rooms, including an interview room, small office, and a miniature museum including accessories from the Studio’s movies and other easter eggs, are fairly self-explanatory. After looking around, the player can walk through the doorway next to the “Good Worker” poster to go up to the second floor.

The second floor has various more rooms than the last, including the prop department, a dressing room for the studio’s actors, and an uncanny room with signs reading “WORK WORK WORK Repeat WORK WORK WORK” decorating the walls and toys littering the floor. In this room is where the note in Image 1 may be found. When the player is finished searching here, they may enter the stairwell next to a Western movie set to head to the Studio’s third floor.

This third floor is even larger than the last, featuring a music department, a full-blown Wild West scene, and Larry’s office. The most notable features of this floor are a mirror in a nearby changing room (Image 2), a pathway to the Pit through the music department, and its three teleports. The first of these teleports, accessed via jumping into the Pit, is a hellish game called “The Bottom”. The second, a harder-to-discover teleport to a game titled “Fallen Into Sludge”, shows the stone workers’ true feelings towards Mr. Hollywood. This one is discovered by falling into the gunk underneath the stairs leading down to the Pit. Finally, behind a bedroom-like movie set is Image 3; a poster of a stone Worker featuring a teleport to yet another sub-game called “Stone Cutting Shop”, which demonstrates the fate of those turned into stone. The stairs up to the fourth and final floor are to the right of this same set.

The fourth floor is not as spectacular in size, albeit it blows the others out of the water in terms of lore. This floor holds the cafeteria, Archives, and Mr. Hollywood’s office. There are also three teleports on this floor, one in the Archives that sends the player to the game “Winston Estate 1953 - Arkansas”, as seen in Image 4, a second next to a statue of Hollywood that sends the player to a game titled “Somewhere Filming in the Himalayas”, also in book form, and a final teleport to the Pit disguised as a secret room in OlMrHollywood’s office. Himalayas showcases the setting of Mr. Hollywood’s initial meeting with the Goat Lord, while the one in his office takes the player to The Bottom as a punishment for breaching his privacy.

Although most of the secret areas are deemed inaccessible when the Studio’s security are present, dropping by when the story characters are present greatly pays off. Their interactions provide much context behind the smaller details of the Studio, and may even lead the player to a new discovery or two.

Groups

Famous Movie Studio

Not to be confused with Hollywood’s game of the same name, this group served as the focal point of OlMrHollywood’s myth. As expected, he was the owner of this group with the role “Mr. Hollywood”.

Mr Fly-Pants’s People

The former group for the Famous Movie Studio, created under OlMrHollywood’s original username. This group was discontinued on August 1st of 2020, though a snippet of lore remains in its description.

Relationships

Larry_museumcurator

Larry was the son of Mr. Hollywood and the curator of the Studio and its tours. They got along very well and had similar attitudes towards the Studio and its events.

LilMrsHollywood

LilMrsHollywood, as her name suggests, was the wife of OlMrHollywood. Mr. and Mrs. Hollywood did just about everything together since her presumed resurrection from the dead, and were practically inseparable.

The Goat Lord

The Goat Lord was a god-like being who played the largest role in Mr. Hollywood’s journey to fame. Ever since the deal that granted OlMrHollywood money, fame, and power was confirmed, Hollywood referred to and considered the Goat Load as his adoptive father.

Theories

• OlMrHollywood gets his workers from kidnappings, and then the Goat Lord takes their souls. The workers are like zombies, they never stop working until their demise.
  • ‘LOVE AND AFFECTION LEADS TO HAPPINESS, AND HAPPINESS LEADS TO FANTASY, AND FANTASY LEADS TO IMAGINATION. AND WE DO NOT WANT IMAGINATION HERE’.   - Quote from Hollywood in his Discord server
  • ‘I’ve heard a rumor from the paper that theirs been a bunch of kidnappings in our area of Hollywood. Strange.’    - Another quote from Mr. Hollywood

• Mrs. Hollywood died in the 1953 house fire.
  • During an event at the Hollywood Bowl to celebrate the Studio’s revamp, Mr. Hollywood mentioned that his wife would be “brought back from the grave” when announcing her as a new character.
  • The teleport “Winston Estate 1953 - Arkansas” showed Hollywood’s home that he used to live in after its fire. Among the rubble, a painting of Edward and one of Larry were present - but none of Mrs. Hollywood were there.
  • Behind her mask, Mrs. Hollywood had similar scarring to Mr. Hollywood. Noting Mr. Hollywood received his scars from burning and Mrs. Hollywood’s look the exact same, this house fire could be the reason behind hers.

Trivia

• If the Studio were to ever go bankrupt, Hollywood mentioned that his character would become a butler for a hotel.
• The Hollywood Bowl is based off of a real-life venue in Hollywood. This was confirmed in an announcement in OlMrHollywood’s Discord server, when he sent an image of the game’s physical counterpart upon declaring a celebration for reaching 100 group members.
