Only the chosen.— Pesagniyah
Pesagniyah is a recognized myth, garnering over 4,000 visits largely due to a video made on him by Flamingo and the InterestingMyths account following him. He is presumed to be an angel, due to his name and avatar, and has potentially been enrolled to guard over a specific gate in Heaven.
Biography
As Pesagniyah has never been seen in-game before by anyone publicly and due to his incredibly lackluster game, it is difficult to decide on a story. However, it is highly likely that this Pesagniyah is the same as the religious figure Pesagniyah and, therefore, will share his same traits. In terms of Pesagniyah's game "Gateway", it is likely that Pesagniyah will judge individuals who come to his game and choose some based on an unknown criteria, giving them the ability to move past the gateway. The exact purpose for this remains a mystery.
History
Pesagniyah's account was made on the 7th of February, 2019, and his game was made a day later on the 8th. At some point between then and the 15th of February, InterestingMyths found the account and followed it, giving it some minor traction. This same day, popular YouTuber, Flamingo, released a video titled, "This has been following people in Roblox...", where he played a variety of different myth games found in InterestingMyths' following. This included Pesagniyah, giving it a major boost in popularity compared to its initial exposure from InterestingMyths.
Although most myths would utilize this attraction, Pesaginyah seemingly did nothing noteworthy with their account or game. This continued until their game received its last updated on the 8th of August, 2019. It is unclear what was changed, if anything at all, but absolutely nothing followed this account in terms of activity. There would only be some occasional hunts or visits from hunters during this.
In August 2024, Pesagniyah logged onto Roblox for the first time in a very long time. It is not known what happened to the account during this time, but later on Pesagniyah was terminated. The reasoning for this is unknown, but it is likely that someone password-guessed the account and got it banned.
Appearance
Pesagniyah wears the "True Ninja of Brilliant Illumination" hat and the "Cape Angel" shirt. He has white legs with an identically white torso, acting as clothing, and a peach skin tone present on his arms and face. Together, this avatar obviously depicts an angel-like character to go along with the game's setting.
Personality and Traits
Pesagniyah has never been publicly sighted in any games, leading to his personality and traits being unknown. However, in terms of power and abilities, it is likely he shares the same traits as an angel due to his likely race being that of an angel.
Game
Gateway
Gateway is a very small game. The only area the player is able to navigate is the small, enclosed area where the gate is held. Beyond the gate. a pathway can be seen disappearing into the fog. In the opposite end of the area, another gap can be seen between the walls with a white flight of stairs leading downwards into the foggy abyss.
In the game, there is no known way to pass the gate or to descend the flight of stairs behind the player's spawning point. Some theorise that Pesagniyah must be in-game for the gate to open whereas others theorise that a player must be accepted into the group owned by Pesagniyah to be able to open the gate. Despite this, a video has surfaced on YouTube by a user called InfiniteDragon943 or "i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i" of what is beyond the gate in Pesagniyah. This is most likely done with an exploit but it still presents valuable information of what is behind the gate.
Beyond the gate, a ceiling-less hallway can be seen with tall markings engraved into the walls. At the end of the hallway, a small room is found containing two chairs with the same markings on the back of them, a futuristic table and a large, neon section of the wall, similar to a portal except without teleporting the player. This is assumed to be a meeting room for Pesagniyah and one other individual he may bring through the gate with him.
Group
ONLY THE CHOSEN
This group was created on the 13th of February, 2019. For as long as known knowledge stretches, this group has been devoid of any user other than Pesagniyah himself. It is theorised that being within this group may hold the key to passing the gate in Gateway.
̷͒̈́ ̴̾̽ ̷͊͂
This group was created on the 23rd of May, 2020. Upon its creation, it is believed that all of the members likely joined on the same day. Pesagniyah has had no involvement with the group. Rather, it is more likely that Pesagniyah was brought into the group to popularise it more or to simply add more members to it.
Theories
- To be "Chosen" and let through the gate, one must demonstrate their deep sorrow and have Pesagniyah hear them.
- In "A Dictionary of Angels" by Gustav Davidson, it is stated that Pesagniyah "kisses" sorrowful prayes and "accompanies them to a higher region".
- It is also stated that Pesagniyah is in charge of the keys of ethereal spaces, suggesting that he must be the one to open the gate.
- The player is the physical embodiment of a prayer.
- The game's only potential objective gameplay-wise is to get through the gate which, according to Pesagniyah's role, would be possible if the player were to be a prayer.
- It is said that Pesagniyah accompanies prayers of sorrow to a higher region.
- Assuming that the area beyond the gate is a "higher region", it is likely that one player could be considered a "sorrowful prayer" and be accompanied through the gate to the meeting area.
Trivia
- His account is likely named after the angel, Pesagniyah. In angelology, Pesagniyah was believed to be an angel who carried sorrowful prayers to heaven.
- Looking up Pesagniyah on Google will yield this wiki page first before reaching results about the actual angel Pesagniyah.
- Pesagniyah was previously friended with a user named "Deunoro". It is unclear what the association was but he has since been removed.
