DISAMBIGUATION

This article is about SwAeJuDiNoli, a myth known for his game The Tempest.
You may be looking for Noli, the popular legend who has inspired a plethora of myths.

Five Belong in my merry circle. Three have Fallen. Those two left live in secret. One choose to indentify eachother. One Identified himself.— SwAeJuDiNoli's description

SwAeJuDiNoli was a popular myth, best known for their game The Tempest and for their ties to Noli. After the initial forum post about Noli, SwAeJuDiNoli's account would be created, and would create their game soon after. After a short period, they were terminated by Roblox for unknown reasons, and is still terminated to this day. Their game "The Tempest" is quite mysterious, and it is unknown what the story of SwAeJuDiNoli's game may have been.

Biography

Due to the lack of storytelling in The Tempest, as well as SwAeJuDiNoli likely not ever being in character, It's unknown what the story of SwAeJuDiNoli may have been. The few facts which can be determined is that Noli has control over the temple seen in the start of the game. This could be due to him owning the temple, or he is some kind of powerful deity. In this time we also see a character named "Aspx", as well as a red spike, which kills the player upon touch. Not much is known about this character, but he is likely related to Noli due to their common connection to the temple.

Once you have left this temple, you will meet the character "Reverse Aspx". It's likely this character has ties to the aforementioned Aspx, presumably being his counterpart and potential adversary. It is worth noting that his location, which is a set of snowy islands in the sky, contrasts very well to Aspx's dark temple. Reverse Aspx is also the only character with dialogue in this game, stating "Leave..!" to the player. This likely means that this is his realm, and he is protective of it. It could also imply that the player is somehow flawed and therefore Reverse Aspx doesn't want them in their domain. There is also a house in this place, which could belong to Aspx.

Lastly, on the final "Stonehenge" island, we meet the final character, "aspx.zdp". He is a skeleton which can be found within a black and gold tomb. This tomb is inside of it's own building, perhaps being a mausoleum. The fact that this is mausoleum is placed amongst the large Stonehenge-like structures likely means that they are connected. It could mean that this island is dedicated or belongs to Aspx.zdp, although this is hard to confirm. It's also unknown how this character connects to the other two seen in The Tempest.

History

On the 26th of February, following the initial discovery of Noli, SwAeJuDiNoli would join Roblox. On the same day, their game "The Tempest" would also be created. As can be seen from a video initially created on February 27th, 2010, the game was initially titled "Untitled Place" in morse code.[1] It's unknown exactly when the name was changed to "The Tempest", although it is likely to have only lasted until early March, as links using the title "The Tempest" began appearing in March 2010.[2] On March 7th, The Tempest would be updated for the last time. After this, SwAeJuDiNoli would continue to be semi-active on the Roblox Forums, posting his last forum post on May 9th, 2010[3]. After this, SwAeJuDiNoli would be banned from Roblox, as a result of their creator exploiting on other accounts.[4]

Soon after, user Legomario would create multiple forum posts in which they confirmed that they created SwAeJuDiNoli. This was already something which users had thought; partially supported by the fact that their alt account "Swami8333" was apart of the "SwAeJuDiNoli" name. This was confirmed in a post from Legomario on their "McFlick" account, in which they revealed that SwAeJuDiNoli was an acronym which stood for "Swami, Aeacus, Justgoaway1, Dignity".[5]

The SwAeJuDiNoli account would remain dormant for a long time, until 2019, when it unexpectedly became active, despite the account being terminated. This was done through an API exploit, in which users could manipulate terminated accounts. Using this exploit, two games titled "Where Swans Will Weep" and "test" respectively were created on SwAeJuDiNoli's account, two users were friended, SwAeJuDiNoli's description was changed, as well as a user being followed.[6][7][8][9] Apart from these small actions, nothing else was done to the account. This could be due to the exploit being patched, or the users responsible losing interest.

Appearance

SwAeJuDiNoli wore the Tragedy Mask accessory, the "Surprise!" face and a t-shirt titled "bmF0ZTI4MDA=", which featured the user nate2800. SwAeJuDiNoli also had a black torso and head with light blue legs.

Personality and Traits

It is unknown how SwAeJuDiNoli may have acted while in character, but out of character he acted similarly to most Roblox users from 2010.

Game(s)

The Tempest

The Tempest is SwAeJuDiNoli's main game, and the only one created during prior to his termination. It was created on February 27th, and was last updated on March 7th, prior to the termination of SwAeJuDiNoli.

The player will spawn in front of a black temple with a spinning "stormy" sky box. Once inside the temple, they will see a black NPC, named "Aspx", with a red spike in front of him. Touching this spike will kill the player instantly. A teleport pad can be found behind the temple, which sends the player to another area. Once the player gets teleported, they'll see a character named "Reverse Aspx" telling them to leave there. There are also eight floating snowy islands; three of which the player can access through teleports. On one of these islands is a small hut with smoke coming from it, although there is only a broken mesh of a campfire inside.

If the player returns to the central snowy island, a hidden path can be found below the island, inside of a cloud. The player can jump down to this path, to which they'll find a hidden cave, which leads the player to a small waterfall. Jumping down this waterfall will lead the player to an island with a structure resembling "Stonehenge". In this area is a small mausoleum-like structure, with a grave inside of it. Inside this sarcophagus is a skeleton model titled "Aspx.zdp", which can be seen by clipping the players' camera inside.

This game also has a mechanic, where if the player remains ingame too long, messages will pop up stating "You have angered Noli!", "Noli is sad!", "Noli shall crush you!" and "Noli is(should) be finished here!". This results in the Temple collapsing, and the skybox turning black.

Theories

  • The Tempest's multiple locations are meant to represent Earth, Heaven and Hell.
    • The first location is meant to be hell. This can be seen through the dark and eerie aesthetic of this place, as well as through the inclusion of a deadly spike, which could be some kind of weapon or torture device. Aspx could also be seen as the devil or a demon in this interpretation.
    • The second location is meant to be heaven. This can be seen through the light and tranquil aesthetic this place has, in comparison to the first area. Reverse Aspx in this interpretation is an angel or possibly God. Heaven is also known to be much more difficult to access in comparison to Hell, which could be why Reverse Aspx is trying to get the player to leave.
    • The third location is meant to be Earth. This can be seen through the earth-like terrain, which rock and grass, as well as the Stonehenge-like structure, which is a real-life structure found on Earth. This place also has a mausoleum, a structure created for the deceased to rest.
  • The Limbo
    • The player, or person you play as is in a limbo between life, heaven and hell, meaning they aren’t meant to be in any of the three locations.
  • Aspx and Reverse Aspx represent Yin and Yang
    • Aspx exists in a dark, chaotic world, while Reverse Aspx lives in a peaceful, nice world.
    • Aspx's appearance is fully black, while Reverse Aspx has a fully white body.

Trivia

  • SwAeJuDiNoli's account is valued at around 6K+ Robux, due to multiple now-limited accessories.
  • Aspx may refer to "Active Server Page Extended file", but for what reason is unknown.
  • SwAeJuDiNoli has a favorited a game by Zuka.
  • SwAeJuDiNoli's description was previously "noli.jpsfp.3728".
  • On November 16th, 2023, an account impersonating Noli as a troll named "NOLIDEATHASPX" or more commonly known as "Noil" was created and platformed by Roblox's Myths. This went on for a little over a month, until the owners of RM got bored and retired it late December.[10] Supposedly as a joke, Noil had a rivalry with Acycles.
  • SwAeJuDiNoli's game was likely inspired by the game "Aflaration" by Fandler, due to the usage of similar models and styles.
  • SwAeJuDiNoli's game is comprised of several free models, and was possibly not built by SwAeJuDiNoli at all.[11][12]
  • The teleport pads in "The Tempest" originally had a mesh around them.[13]
    • The Stonehenge model was also made out of angular blocks, rather than rectangular blocks.
  • The Tempest utilized XML file injection to add meshes. These data for these meshes can still be found inside of a models ".rbxmx" file, and can therefore be retrieved. The models used were:
