Dignity

Ignorance is bliss. I don't dawdle into unnecessary arguements.— Dignity

History

Dignity created his account on August 7th, 2008. He was a Top 100 Poster on the forums in early 2009 and would often critique the Roblox community.^[1][2][3] Adding onto his disdain for the forum users, he had troubles with Roblox moderation at points.^[4][5] He created many games before getting terminated, one of which became popular known as Dignity's Palace^[6] and was hacked by a 1x1x1x1 impersonator.^[7] At one point, he planned to make a game based off of Adult Swim's "Superjail!" and acquired the help of Maelstronomer.^[8]

In April 2009, Dignity was terminated by Roblox for the first time.^[9] This termination seemed to coincide with termination of eight other users, with several of them being exploiters.^[10] The exact reasoning for Dignity's termination is not known, although it is believed to be due to exploiting committed by Dignity.^[11] In a statement made by the user Samacado, it is said that Dignity was banned, then unbanned, then banned again and unbanned for the second time, due to exploiting. After a review of the exploiting, the termination was then finalized by May 2009, after a chat log of Dignity asking Samacado to cover him by posing as him in game and causing chaos.^[12]

Later on, a rumor stating that Dignity was terminated for creating modifying a model created by Telamon were spread. This model was a jukebox, which would play specific songs when clicking on certain buttons. Dignity would modify this model and add his own songs to it.^[13] It was said that Dignity was terminated due to the usage of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" in his model, which contains profanities. This rumor is likely incorrect, due to the fact that the offending game are still available.^[14] The incorrect termination reason for Dignity was widely believed for several years, being presenting on both the Roblox Wiki and the Myth Community Wiki until 2026.

Apart from Dignity's main account, he is known to have had four others. His first, named "Chibraku" was created on August 4th, 2008.^[15] This account was briefly active, although it was significantly less active than the Dignity account. It was likely terminated alongside Dignity's main account. Dignity's next known account was Bahumbug, created on January 22nd, 2009.^[16] This account is one of two accounts which are not terminated from Roblox, despite Dignity's supposed IP-ban from the platform. The next known Dignity account is 311, created on February 20th, 2009.^[17] This account is also terminated, with the account's description being a message from Dignity, a year after the account was terminated.^[17] The last known account created by Dignity is robloxaccount4351, created on June 9th, 2009.^[18] The description on this account is similar to the one on 311, featuring a message from Dignity after 311 was terminated.^[18] After his termination it was believed that Dignity was also the user 111, however, Maelstronomer confirmed on Twitter in 2017 that it was a joke account and that Dignity moved on from Roblox after being banned.^{[citation needed]}

Eventually, in 2026, a Roblox user would utilize Roblox support to reset the username of Dignity, with it being changed to "@Account Forgotten (b8d0a3883d62415b9561287018f29bf1)". After this, a new Dignity account would be created on February 17th, 2026. This account would quickly change their avatar to be the same as Dignity's last avatar, although they have used others. The user would also re-upload several old games made by the actual Dignity onto their new account.

Appearance

Dignity's most well-known avatar consisted of "The Void Star" hat, the "Maryland University Terrapins T-Shirt" shirt, and the "Dark Blue Jeans with Belt" pants. He also uses the "Hmmm..." face.
