Biography
TheyWereOnline, also known as James, started off as a normal person, living a normal life. He was born in 1994 and lived with his parents for a long time. However, one day both of James' parents died for unknown reasons. Since James had nowhere else to go, he went to live with his uncle, also known as DeveloperR. DeveloperR had work, so James was not able to see him much. Around this time, Roblox was released, and James grew fond of it. He made a paintball game that he and his Roblox friends liked to play on. In 2006, James was diagnosed with a deadly and unknown disease. This is when DeveloperR really realized that he didn't care for James as much as he should have. James was sent to the hospital, and it was determined that he had one month left to live. As the doctors thought, almost one month later, James died. DeveloperR started beating himself up about how this was all his fault and that he couldn't accept his responsiblities. Somehow, James' soul got stuck inside his paintball game, only interacting with players when they click the blue flag. DeveloperR visited his paintball game daily, for a chance to reminisce about James. When the player finds all this out, James speaks to the player, showing them around a place that James and DeveloperR used to go to a lot. At last, James and the player go back to the paintball game. DeveloperR is also in the game. James and DeveloperR are gleeful to see each other again, and James now instructs that the only way for him to be set free from the game is for the player to touch the blue flag. When the player touches it, James is set free and is alive again. TheyWereOnline's myth takes place in 2006, given evidence from a diary entry and the home page of roblox on a computer.

When he found out James’ soul Was in his paintball game, he started to come there daily. James later instructs him a way where he could be set free.
