TOWNGOS is a popular and highly controversial ROBLOX Myth, known for their game "TOWNGOS" and association with other myths. They created their myth in late 2022 and has since gained a high amount of recognition. His myth is about a small town titled "Moontown" which believes in a fictional religion that is centered around the sun and the moon.
TOWNGOS has gone through five different owners. The current and last owner being the fifth owner, myth now owned by shockwiires / rustygreys, has no intention on selling the myth. Offers will not be accepted or heard of.
Biography
TOWNGOS is a figure named Beans who is the founder of Moontown when he discovered ruined land far in the past. He turned those ruins into a town, and eventually it grew attraction after many years of him being alone. Although, the town might seem like a haven for most who were struggling financially it hides more secrets within it which link to it's strange laws and "sins" which have been created by either the priest of the town or TOWNGOS himself in hopes of keeping tourists or citizens away from the town's true nature.
History
TOWNGOS joined Roblox on the 22nd of August, 2022, creating his game on the same day. His game, which at the time was known as "The Church"; quickly gained popularity, first being hunted in RMH on the 26th of August. After this, he would progressively update his game, staying very active in the community. He held multiple tours of his games, and held ingame events as well. In September of 2022, TOWNGOS created his second game, titled "Tea party". He would also invite various users to be apart of his myth, those being "Kimigosi", "Fobsky" and "binclogs". He created yet another game in December of 2022, titled "My happy place". Up until the 24th of March, TOWNGOS held numerous ingame tours with popular Myth YouTubers, including users such as filthco and wickedalfieboy.
On March 24th, 2023, the original owner of TOWNGOS decided to retire the myth due to being harassed. The reason for this harassment was that a former TOWNGOS developer stole numerous models and games. He also announced that he'd sell the myth for 7000+ Robux. Shortly after this, he would leak personal information that was sent to him by a Discord user known as "Miserable". This information was supposedly fake, but he never stated this, causing him to gain even more harassment from the public. After this, he was exiled from numerous groups, such as Robloxian Myth Hunters and Paradox of Myths. Later on, the myth would be given to a new owner. This resulted in a poll taking place, which decided whether or not TOWNGOS should retire. It was then agreed upon that the myth would take a temporary hiatus.
Around a month later, TOWNGOS returned with a completely new game, with the original owner of TOWNGOS no longer involved with the myth. Three more myths would also be added to the myth, those being "Kadobent", "Orosevi" and "Fuepia". At some point around June, the idea of a Myth Podcast sprung up, with TOWNGOS being interested. On the 1st of July, 2023, the Myth Podcast channel was created. It was hosted by Bhindism, TOWNGOS, Mekbok and Stuffion_Youtube. The first episode was live streamed on the 6th of July, 2023, and the ROBLOX group was created on the same day. The Myth Podcast lasted around a month, with 4 episodes being streamed, featuring guests such as NEBULAW0RLD, Fiddlepat, Billium and Stephen_Archer. It was ended on the 11th of August, 2023.
After this, the myth would go on a bit of a hiatus, with it eventually gaining it's third owner. This owner would not do much, only adding a few small updates to the game, before the myth was transferred back to a previous owner. The account would then be locked by this owner, causing the myth to retire. This was until the fourth and final owner would get the account back by providing proof of purchase from a former owner. This allowed them to get access to the account again through Roblox support. The fourth owner would receive the account from the aforementioned former owner, after he scammed another user by claiming he would receive the TOWNGOS account after a payment of 200USD.
The fourth owner would go on to update the TOWNGOS game, and would invite filthco to do yet another video on TOWNGOS. They would make two videos, with the second one being the end of the TOWNGOS myth for a time. After this, a new project would be created, titled "TOWNGOS Reborn", which was intended to revamp the entire myth in an attempt to move away from the drama-filled past of TOWNGOS. On September 25th, 2024, the new TOWNGOS game would be released and "TOWNGOS Reborn" would be renamed to "TOWNGOS: REBUILT", although the owner would quickly lose motivation and would stop development on "TOWNGOS: REBUILT".
Following the fourth owner selling the myth and account alongside everything with it, the fifth and final owner has rebranded the game as a whole. The group has been renamed to "LIKEHOME", and as the main town itself has been renamed to "MOONTOWN". The fifth owner has made a huge attempt to fix the myth and story as all together, saving it and repurposing it. There are no plans on selling the account and will not be up for offer.
Controversy/Drama Of Past Ownership

This second owner would be apart of the most known drama by far, which took place in November 2023. This is when myth hunter Sinvyra would release a document, describing a group chat which included users KingHeartXI, damaxia, kalliced, RushioLCO and TOWNGOS. In this groupchat, they would make many insensitive jokes, and would spread NSFW art of popular myth MrsAmnesiary, who was 17 at the time. TOWNGOS in particular sent multiple pieces of art, as well as joke about rape and grooming. Eventually, this document would be privatized, after Sinvyra spoke to the owner of TOWNGOS at the time and saw that they had changed.
During this time, a smaller drama would also occur, which involved two of the new accounts invited to the myth, Orosevi and Fuepia. These two would request NSFW drawings of minors and would be homophobic. After being exposed for this, they would both abandon their accounts, although it is believed that Fuepia is still around in the myth community.
After these two dramas, the controversies involving TOWNGOS and the owner's of the account have been quite small. The third owner was known to raid small servers which were usually composed of myth community members. They were also often exploited during their time as owner of the myth by another user, causing their reign as owner to be quite rocky and disfunctional.
The fourth and current owner has yet to be involved in any dramas.

TOWNGOS's main avatar he currently wears consists of the "Wanwood Back Guitar", the "Gold Goggles", the "Druid Hood", the "Brown Scarf" and the "You ate my caik!" face, along with a custom T-Shirt called "Imagine having faces".
Personality and Traits
TOWNGOS' portrayal can vary, but he tends to speak quite casually. He tends to be quite ungrammatical, although he can speak formally from time to time. He is also known to not take things very seriously at times and appears to have a mischievous aspect to his personality. He is also known to be quite egotistical and at times stupid.
