I'm just the janitor.— unclelong to players, multiple times between 2019-2025unclelong is a myth associated user loosely associated with Zuka, Dignity and Minish. His game "Columns of Void" has been widely theorized on since March 2015. He has labeled himself as an ARG character rather than a myth, although he has always been loosely tied to the myth community.
Biography
Due to being an ARG character, he doesn't follow traditional myth norms, despite this being thought otherwise for many years. His origin is widely unknown besides mentions of fighting in a war against invaders during the early years of Roblox and taking care of the "silent battlefield" that is Columns of Void in the modern era.[1]
History
Unclelong's account was created on December 30th, 2007 at 6:42:36 PM CT.
The first versions of Columns of Void were developed on January 25th, 2015, however during this time they were smaller undeveloped builds. The main version, which stayed mostly the same for ten years with minimal changes, was uploaded on March 5th, 2015. This version would later be captured on video and reuploaded as an archive.[2][3] In the game included mentions of an odd user known as mysterykid, also said to be related to Zuka. A book about mysterykid can still be found at the ROBLOX Library. He would also be mentioned as being involved with Dignity in September 2015.[4]
On March 28th, 2015, mysterykid would upload many decals referencing Columns of Void, such as the white room with columns[5], the room with the purple throne and crown[6], of which unclelong claimed belonged to the invaders he fought against named the "Grandian Empire"[1][7], two that look similarly to 13Xs's Place[8][9], and Dignity's room.[10] Mysterykid herself first began appearing in hunts and investigations by the Robloxian Myth Hunters in June 2016.[11]
At some point, Columns of Void would be included in jokerkid5898's myth list on the forums, however he has since hidden them.
Unclelong would update the game multiple times in October 2015, then again in February & July 2016. He was spotted online in game on August 20th, 2017, where the game was updated (likely to coincide with ZukaakuZ's "Autumn Twilight"[12].) Columns of Void would be updated twice in 2018 then again in February 2019, and unclelong was spotted in game in July 2019.
In January 2024, the game was updated with a few minor changes, and wouldn't be touched again until early November 2025, where new areas were added. Unclelong would also appear in game multiple times and have conversations with eager hunters.[1] In the newest version the throne has been turned grey (which may be a parallel with another game called 'Autumn Gloom' by the user HugoOfCharn) and there are four symbols on the ground surrounding it, each the same but in different colors.[1][13]
Appearance
Unclelong wears the "2007 ROBLOX Visor" hat on his head, known for being the earliest visor published on the catalog. He also wears the shirt "Desert Army Sharpshooter Uniform" and "Army Pants", which could be due to his time fighting in a war.[1]
Games
Columns of Void
Columns of Void is described as being a silent battlefield from the historic era of Roblox, after a war that left many of unclelong's comrades dead. There are multiple bisected rooms with different vague objects, statues and references. In September 2015, six months after its release, it only had 239 visits.[14]
From 2015 to 2016, the portal in Columns led to the game AMR0S's Place by AMR0S. It's since been updated in November 2025 to teleport you to 13Xs's Place by 13Xs and vice versa. Some theorize that the dark figure sitting on the red throne in the green sections of Columns is related to this.
The game was connected to Noli by hunters, however unclelong disavowed this claim.[1]
