History
William_Russ created his account on the 3rd of June, 2019. The original Russ Family group was created on May 11th, 2019, predating William by around a month. Prior to gaining ownership of the group, William was one of the family members, often assisting in the creation of games for the group. It's unknown exactly how or when William did get ownership of the group, but it is likely when Father_Russ, the former owner, retired.
By the end of 2019, William and The Russ Family as a whole had gotten quite popular, with the main game having 47.5K+ visits, William having ranks in groups such as Mythsman: Myth Investigation Service, The Myth Files and The Myth Association.
The group continued to grow until April 2020, when the group was suddenly taken over by Kriegs, and eventually turned into a fan club for the YouTuber CommCrimson. After this whole event, William retired and vowed to never return. Despite this, later on in October 2020, a new group was created for The Russ Family. This group, similarly to the last, was once again taken over by Kriegs.
During early 2021, William would begin to work on Asphalt, a smaller plot in the original Russ Family story. This resulted in him creating games such as Hiphae and revamping Pomeria and Asphalt. Eventually, William would return in May 2021 with a new Russ game. This game was active until some time in late 2021, when William once again retired the Russ Family myth. He would continue to work on the Asphalt side of his myth a bit, until 2022 when he created "Our Present Family". This group is essentially a new take on Asphalt and The Russ Family. As of January 2024, Our Present Family is still active.
