History

1_AD joined Roblox on June 7th, 2014, under the name "XXMRGUESTXX". Not much is known about the early history of 1_AD, due to the lack of documentation surrounding it. It is known that in December 2016, they had changed their username to 1_AD. After this, in November 2019, 1_AD joined the group Grocery Gang.^{[citation needed]}1_AD would make his first appearance in the video "The truth behind Roblox's creepiest group...", uploaded by Flamingo onto his YouTube channel on December 13th, 2019.^[2] This video featured Flamingo playing 1_AD's game "The Process", alongside 74j and 1_AD. After this, 1_AD was also briefly featured in the video "Roblox's creepiest group tried to hide this from you", where Flamingo could be seen playing the game "1_AD's Facility For The Fractured".^[3]

Following this, on January 6th, 2020, a controversy occurred in the Grocery Gang group, in which the member TIPPYSHIP was exposed for harassing other Grocery Gang members.^{[citation needed]} Following this, Amazook reportedly demanded access to every member's Roblox account.^{[citation needed]} Fiddlepat refused, and was removed from the group.^{[citation needed]} As a result, twelve members left the group in solidarity, including 1_AD.^{[citation needed]} Fiddlepat then foudned a new myth, titled Wormhub, which centered on the "worm kingdom". 1_AD became a member of this group, alongside other former members of Grocery Gang.

As stated in a Discord call, 1_AD said they left Grocery Gang because the group was changing a lot about the myth. On March 24, 2020, Fiddlepat announced his retirement on Twitter and Discord, citing the deteriorating state of the myth community and the hate that he and Wormhub had faced.^{[citation needed]}1_AD retired alongside him, ending Wormhub roughly two and a half months after its founding. The Wormhub Roblox group still exists but has since been renamed multiple times, going through "「GODSENT」" and "ONE HUNDRED MILLION HARD WORKING WARRIORS" before its current name 「 ɢᴇʟᴠɪɴ 」, and is now owned by gelvinware^[4], formerly known as Fiddlepat.^[5]

Appearance

During their myth era, they wore a red skin tone with the VR Headset, Red Demon Ears, White Uneven Cult hair, Slouchy Beanie in Total Darkness, and the Infinity Scarf in Total Darkness.

Their current avatar (as earthtoguppy) wears Short Y2K Popular Layered Hair Red, the Lazy Eye dynamic head, a Green T-Shirt, the "little blue ears fella" hat, and "emo grunge washed miss me lowrise jeans". Their body uses a blue (#6E99CA) head, torso, and arms, with brown (#564236) legs.

Personality and Traits

During their time in Grocery Gang, they would speak broken English. They now speak normally. It is assumed that their character changed slightly after the change in myths.

Controversy

The current Grocery Gang Roblox group description lists 1_AD among a number of former members it labels as "predators, manipulators, abusers", alongside TlPPYSHIP and several others.^[6] As of writing, no formal exposé or investigation documentation backing these claims has been located.
