Biography

AscendentOne is a painter, surrealist, and an author (they also make good poems). Ascendent has the so-called "Rose Infection", which he created. The infection gives the ability, whoever takes this infection, to let them fly or teleport. Unfortunately, Aozorano, who is also known as Zora, gave himself the infection or disease when he accidentally spilled a bottle that indicated ">The Rose:".

Ascendent and his brother Zora were caged in a war with each other and Zora decided to use the rose infection he had to create extremely dangerous weapons to use against Ascendent.

History

AscendantOne created their account on 1st of May, 2018. Very quickly, AscendentOne would be noticed by the community, with their first mention coming from June 2018, when user "lolkid007" posted their account in the Robloxian Myth Hunters Discord server, stating they met the requirements for the Smaller/Upcoming Myth rank in the group^[1]. Judging by more messages from the same day, at the time he had around one thousand visits across three games. They were later on ranked as an Smaller/Upcoming Myth.

At the time, AscendentOne's myth was about the Addington Family, with AscendentOne being called Edward Addington. Then there was also AscendentTwo, Edward's wife, AscendentThree, Edward's son and AscendentFour, who was Edward's daughter. These accounts were all introduced soon after their creation, with the first mention of them by AscendentOne coming from June 16th, 2018^[2]. Over the next year, AscendentOne would continue to be active, and became quite popular as well. Noticeably, their building would continue to become better, with a video from December 2018^[3] showcasing the new version of their game being quite the improvement from the version of the game from early 2018. This would lead to AscendentOne gaining the Popular Myth rank in Robloxian Myth Hunters in November, 2018^[4].

In early 2019, AscendentOne would get into a minor controversy with the myth Werewolftin, over allegedly using Ascendent for his own needs, speaking badly about him behind his back, and vandalizing his game. Also in early 2019, AscendentOne would become the leader of the group "The Surrealists". This group was owned by BIueMirror, and featured myths such as eeIiot, DonnyNobody and NAUSEACANE. In May 2019, AscendentOne announced his apparent retirement, alongside it was a link to a game, where a party was held. This party involved many notable users coming, but ended with him announcing that he was not actually planning on retiring. Then on October 10th, two agents of the Roblox's Myths Intelligence Agency had written a document containing their short investigation of AscendentOne. This report contains lots of historical importance, as it provides lots of images and remarks on AscendentOne during this time period. These two former agents are named CameronTheBlox and TaiwaneseDoge.

Later in 2020, AscendentOne would begin to tinker with the stud myth style, with one of his first builds being a recreation of the game Khranos, by Minish^[5]. Eventually he would start making all of his games in this style, stating that he "just loves it". This would also lead to his most well known game, "athens is burning!" to be created in 2021. Later on in 2021, AscendentOne would retire from the community, turning his myth games into showcases and distancing himself from the community in general. Around this time is when AscendentOne would reveal that he had been lying about his skintone for many years, and that he was in fact dark skinned in real life.

On the 25th of February, 2022 Ascendent announced on Twitter that he had come out of retirement and that his games are no longer showcases. Along with a new story about the Ngisha Kingdom.
