Why did she do it?— Description of werewolftin's game, "Her"

Werewoltin is an obscure myth that retired in 2020 largely recognized for a handful of minor controversies they were involved in during 2018-2019. They were commonly believed to have become serial killer who suffers from schizophrenia, possibly following their significant other separating from them. After werewolftin's retirement, they made their bundle of games private which caused much information about them to be unavailable.

Biography

Werewolftin was believed to be a serial killer during World War 2[1] who travels around Europe witnessing the chaos of war.[2] Beyond this, there is hardly any certain details about werewolftin's identity. Werewolftin struggled with the separation of their wife or girlfriend, who is commonly referred to as "Her".[3] This is theorized to have happened in 1930, before WW2, and had been a reason for werewolftin's homicidal behaviors.[4] They also are able to visit another dimension that werewolftin considers to be hell. Dark monstrosities reside here and appear throughout werewolftin's games, possibly meaning they are demons that werewolftin works with.[5] Alternatively, the figures may be hallucinations caused by schizophrenia.[6]

History

Werewolftin created their account on June 30th, 2018, as well as their first two games, "Her" and "Octwood asylum". being made the same day. Surprisingly, hunters discovered werewolftin almost immediately, as the first known mention of werewolftin by myth hunters was found within the Robloxian Myth Hunters Discord server on July 3rd, 2019, only three days after their account was created.[7] Which hunter first came across the myth and when is unknown. During the following two months, werewolftin made numerous games which shows they were active throughout July and August of 2018. Additionally, werewolftin produced a Twitter profile that they periodically used throughout August and October.[8] There was also a single recorded interaction with werewolftin during this period. It was uploaded by a terminated hunter named, AlterneteWorld.[9]

In total, there are seven games that werewolftin has created which have been recovered. After "Her" and "Octwood asylum" came "Her and my house". This was the third game to be created by werewolftin. The creation date is July 2nd, 2018. "Foxburg supply co" was the fourth game werewolftin had created, with the creation date being on July 9th, 2019. Then, "Europe" was developed a week later on July 16th. The last two known games in this series was "The realm" on August 4th, and "On air" on August 13th. All of werewoltin's games appear to have been last updated at various dates through 2019. Unfortunately, werewolftin eventually made all of their experiences private, so it is unknown if these listed games are all of the games they created.

Although there is uncertainty regarding werewolftin's activity follow this, they seemingly began rising in popularity among Robloxian Myth Hunters such as renowned myth hunters, yoofool and Foxicarus.[10] They even earned the "Smaller/Upcoming" rank in RMH on January 7th, 2019.[11] The popularity also led to a myth hunter making a YouTube video exploring werewoltin's various games, thus acting as the only known archive of these game's contents and werewolftin's behavior in-game.[12] This hunter was named, Cyborgcypher995, and the video was uploaded on February 24th, 2019.[12] This newfound reputation eventually became tarnished with multiple instances of controversy involving werewolftin, with one causing their demotion from RMH on May 11th, 2019.[11] At some unknown point in 2020,[13] werewolftin retired as a myth and made all of their games private. Although they are semi-active as a retired myth, the myth has been vanquished.

During 2019, werewolftin started building a rather controversial reputation, being involved in a few instance of controversy. Along with this, some individuals began disliking them for their personality and allegedly using other myths to gain attention.[14] The first instance of controversy happened in October 2018, when werewolftin posted on their Twitter claiming that a now terminated myth named, MarcusHauglid, was copying their avatar.[15] There was a confrontation but it is unknown if it went anywhere since then.[16] The next controversial event happened during February 2019, which was werewolftin allegedly adding Nazism models into AscendentOne's game. Due to this, a few individuals started to claim that werewolftin aligned with Nazism.[17] There hasn't been any recovered evidence towards the idea that werewolftin aligned with Nazism, but it has been mentioned a few times that the added models were vehicles. Therefore, this accusation was likely false. Werewolftin has also denied it.[18] Finally, there was the action that caused werewolftin to be demoted from RMH on May 11th, 2019.[11] The details of this situation are believed to be lost, but werewolftin allegedly conspired to expose identities behind various myths, thus causing them to be demoted.[19]

Appearance

There are numerous outfits werewolftin has worn on record throughout 2018 and 2019. Their original outfit resembled a knight from the "Teutonic Order". During the next few months, werewolftin shared a few other appearances on their Twitter.[8] These avatars had suits and generally looked live a typical individual, besides a mask and scratches for two of them. In January 2019, werewolftin seemed to have changed their outfit to one with a suit and same knight helmet as their original avatar. Another known outfit of theirs is one where they seemed to be dressed as a police officer. They most likely have changed their outfits various times during 2019 and 2020. Werewolftin's current avatar is for their retirement so it does not have relevance, though, it is vastly different from all of previously mentioned appearance.

Personality and Traits

Werewolftin has been described to display a variety of behavioral traits from 2018 to 2019. While within their games, they were calm and rather confident, but they also had a temper that was triggered easily if bothered.[9] This leads into their believed homicidal tendencies, as they were likely a serial killer.[1] Outside of this, they had a reputation of seeking attention from popular myth community members and being immature.[14] Werewolftin also appeared to frequently interact with hunters and guide them through their games.[9]

Games

Her

From what was displayed in Mundallin's video,[12] "Her" depicts werewolftin's struggles with their significant other leaving them.[3] "Her" was werewolftin's most popular game out of the bunch, and was one of their first games created. This was also an extremely short game, only having a single teleport with minimal area to explore. Like the rest of werewolftin's games, this is private.

Octwood asylum

"Octwood asylum" is one of the two first games that werewolftin created, and was last updated March 17th, 2019. This game consisted of an abandoned asylum that is particularly empty. Besides another appearance of the dark, monstrous figures and a fallout shelter, there did not seem to be much else within this game. Basic exploration made up most of the gameplay mechanics for this game, although, a teleportation mechanic was also used. Like the rest of werewolftin's games, the game is private so all information came from Mundallin's video.[12]

Her and my house

This appeared to take place inside the same dimension that "The realm" contains, specifically an area there that werewolftin seems to have lived with a significant other referred to as "her". "Her and my house" was last updated on September 14th, 2019, but was eventually made private alike the rest of werewolftin's games. Also within this game is werewolftin saying "But I don't want to let her go" to himself,[3] as well as "1930" being written on a piece of furniture. This may indicate the date of when this happened. Like the rest of werewolftin's games, the game is private so all information came from Mundallin's video.[12]

Foxburg supply co

"Foxburg supply co" was werewolftin's fourth game which was last updated on March 17th, 2019. This game was extremely short according to Mundallin's video,[12] only having an empty facility with boxes and trash spread across the room. However, in a hidden area there appeared to be corpses hung from the ceiling while the soldiers in the game's thumbnail stand nearby.[20] "1941", the year World War 2 began, was also found in-game. There likely was a fake wall or code mechanic used in this game, but it is uncertain since the game is now private.

Europe

From what was discovered by Mundallin in their video,[12] "Europe" was werewolftin's smallest game as it only featured a city street before and after either WW2, or another chaotic event that the dark figures were responsible for. Therefore, there wasn't other mechanics used outside of teleportation and exploration. Like the rest of werewolftin's games, this is private.

The realm

"The realm" took place inside some alternate dimension where the astrosphere was grey and the dark monstrosities roamed. Uniquely, there was a spherical creature that floated ahead of the rest of the dark figures. Next to it was a glowing pattern of sort but it is uncertain as to what it is.[21] The final notable detail of this game was what appeared to be a human standing in front of the monstrosities, facing the aforementioned orb. This game utilized basic exploration and teleportation mechanics for gameplay progression. Like the rest of werewolftin's games, the game is private so all information came from Mundallin's video.[12]

On air

From what was displayed in Mundallin's video,[12] "On Air" did not have much content to it. This place featured a radio station inside a city that was reporting on the beginning of World War 2 and a serial killer.[1] The mysterious, dark figures can also be seen around the city and radio station. Outside of that, there aren't any other particularly important details in relation to the storytelling. There are not any notable mechanics used within this game for gameplay progression besides basic exploration. Like the rest of werewolftin's games, this is private.

Theories

  • Werewolftin may suffer from schizophrenia with the many dark figures amongst their games being a result of this illness.
    • In some cases, individuals with schizophrenia may experience hallucinations of people or figures. Based on what records there are on werewolftin's games, the monstrous figures only really appear around them, or are hidden from other people.
    • Werewolftin has a game named, "Octwood asylum", which was abandoned. Perhaps this was once a place that werewolftin had stayed at for their condition, and were eventually released due to it being abandoned for whatever reason.
    • This theory may not be true do to the apparent existence of another realm with these monsters that werewolftin states is hell.[22]
  • Werewolftin may have a contract with hell to murder people, meaning the dark figures are demons.
    • During an interaction with werewolftin, they stated that "The realm" was hell and they "do a contract here".[22] If werewolftin can access hell, they likely work with hell. The contract may be for werewolftin to kill people for some reason. This would explain werewolftin's motive for being a serial killer, and an explanation as to what the dark figures are.
  • Werewolftin became a serial killer because they lost the love of their life.
    • Within "Her and my house", werewolftin can be seen struggling with their partner separating from them. Somewhere around the house, "1930" is hidden.[23] This is similar to how "1941" is written in another game, which likely refers to WW2. Therefore, if 1941 was used to convey the year, then 1930 may be conveying the year when "Her and my house" takes place. This places the struggles of losing their partner a decade before they were mentioned to be a serial killer.
