The road calls me on.— Corlonisk

Corlonisk is an immortal being, also called the Traveling God, who travels through many worlds and gives gifts to those in need. He is heavily associated with the groups, Wanderer's Haven and Mental Assistance Department.

Biography

Corlonisk, also known as the Traveling God is a wandering, immortal vessel who travels across many dimensions and grants them gifts. Although these gifts aren't necessarily wanted at first, they will turn out to play an important role in the balance of these worlds, changing and helping them. The known gifts are the Gift of Creation, Reality, Light, Guidance, Trust, and the Gift of Humanity, although this one hasn't been seen in game yet and was only mentioned. As he wanders, Corlonisk grows corrupted for unknown reasons, which is the potential cause of the gifts being tainted, impacting the worlds they are involved in. At one point, he created his greatest gift, causing the loss of his memory before the event, and the start of the great Transition.

History

Corlonisk created his account on 2/9/2020 and the first version of Traveler’s Sanctuary on his profile the next day. Another place holder of the game was then added to the group on 11/3/2020. The first version closed due to a major revamp, and the game, now moved on the group, opened months later, on the 21/2/2021. On July 20th, 2021, a special agent for the Roblox's Myths Intelligence Agency known as xlgamerlx, participated in an interrogation of Corlonisk.

Appearance

Corlonisk’s current avatar consists of the “Void Head” shirt and pants, “Crown of the Hollowed Soul” hat, the “Void Wreath” hat, “Void Head” accessory, “Right Silver Pauldron of the Void” accessory, “Left Pauldron of the Void” accessory, the “White Arms of the Void” accessory, and the “Creepy Limbs” accessory.

Personality and Traits

In game, Corlonisk sometimes assists the hunters traveling across the world, helping them with the puzzles and fights. In the story, out of benevolence, he leaves gifts to the worlds that need them. Though, his own corruption caused by unknown reasons affects the gifts that become altered, or threatened by an Urge that wishes to take control of them, ending up by being a danger to their worlds. Corlonisk doesn’t remember anything before the time he gave his greatest gift, and often talks about his memory not all being there. Corlonisk always speaks with scrambled words in his sentences.

Abilities

Corlonisk is immortal. The red crystal of his crown is said to be the essence of the gifts themselves, and play most likely an important role in their creation.

Theories

  • A greater god controls Corlonisk, and is the author of his corruption.
    • There are obvious elements to this theory, which can be found without hints in game. We know that a greater god potentially controls Corlonisk. It would therefore be easy for it to make him act against his will, or even to corrupt him little by little, so that the god can accomplish its wishes while remaining hidden behind its puppet, Corlonisk.
    • The main hint to this theory, which supports the elements above, is a certain sentence on a note that is part of one of the secrets of the game. "This vessel [Corlonisk] grows corrupted as he wanders, to be a mindless puppet for the god that controls him."
  • Corlonisk has already been on earth, and granted many gifts.
    • In the game In Ruina Eius de Nephilim, the same crystal as Corlonisk can be found on the skull of the remains of the chief of the Nephilim behind the temple. In addition, it has been confirmed that Corlonisk granted a gift to the Nephilim, and therefore must have been on earth at the time. However, the nature of this gift is unknown.
    • In the game Castaway, one of the artifacts found underwater turns out to be an old temple constructed for religious purposes.  The Corlonisk’s crystal can be found on the computer nearby, indicating that the temple was most likely dedicated to him or one of his gifts.
    • A note, part of one of the secrets of the game, relates to what seems to be a gift, hinting that there might be more than one gift granted by Corlonisk on Earth.
  • Corlonisk knows the Mindwalkers, and granted something to them
    • In the arena at Jalcrl Nwm, the Sanctuary Crystal can be seen on walls.
    • The Mindwalkers refer to Corlonisk as “The Wandering Idiot”, notably in the Mindwalker Prime dialog: “You wield the tools of fallen fools, while we wield the power granted us by that wandering idiot!”. It thus proves that Corlonisk did give something to the Mindwalkers, if they are not already the gifts themselves, as this theory might state.

  • The former Corlonisk’s profile description used to be in french.
  • In-game, Corlonisk has no face.
  • In-game, Corlonisk has a special title, called “The Harbinger”.
  • In boss battles, Corlonisk’s appearance slightly changes to become entirely made of forcefield.
