History

TwistedThorey's account was created at the middle of 2012, on 6/17/2012. He was said to be barely active during this time, only occasionally updating his game as it slowly gained recognition and visits from myth hunters. This continued into June 2012, where he made four Arabic-named t-shirts. One of them were uploaded properly to where "HELP ME" could be made out on the shirt. Each t-shirt name can be put into a translator to get a rough translation. There are no other recorded events following this until the next year when an unknown decal was made. The description read, "You've won..", and wasn't touched since it was uploaded on May 29th.

Within the middle of 2018, TwistedThorey returned to his myth with a resurgence in activity, starting with an update to his game description now saying, "I'm Back.". Following this, he created or joined his support group and became friends with Anevius, G0Z, and DrMosen. Additionally, TwistedThorey favorited his place and "Denial" by CinqueVite. Then he made his first model, "TWISTED". The model is his bandito with the description saying, "STAY TWISTED. FOREVER." There wasn't much finished content after this but there was some serious development for a revamp of his game, with an established development team of CorvusIII, Anevius, littlebird78, and Dysphen. TwistedThorey seemingly created a Twitter account on the 23rd of July, a handful of days after creating the model. Once this was established, he also seemingly created a Discord server and account that was most likely deleted eventually. There aren't any known records of what this server contained. He also used this Twitter account to interact with G0Z, hold votes for the materials used in his game, and even a teaser image among random tweets. They eventually lost the habit of constantly tweeting and the Twitter account went unused in August.

In early April 2022, TwistedThorey came back one more time and completely revamped his game and myth appearance. "Twisted's Tower" now had a realistic building style to it in a real-world, rather than a void. Along with this, the inside of the tower could be explored through an improved progression system. He made a new Twitter account after not being able to access the old one and started appearing at an increased rate within myth games and Collaboration! members' friends lists. He quickly gained the attention of hunters during this game release and the following days, but then died down to a more passive state but remained active. Then on April 16th or 17th, TwistedThorey followed user, SmileyGuest, and gave him the "PERSONAL GUEST" rank in his group. The next notable event regarding Twisted didn't occur until next year, where the final badge and puzzles were added to his game on 2/11/2023.

Appearance

TwistedThorey's current appearance consists of a black torso, a white head and arms, and very black legs. He also wears the "Black loose bun" hair, a "Black Winter Scarf", a "Black Neck Gaiter", the "Bandito" accessory, the "Age of Exploration" hat, a "Cyberpunk Collar - Vicious Red" accessory and the "🧥 Black Trench Coat with sweater" shirt and pants. He uses the "Bad Dog" face.

Personality and Traits

TwistedThorey typically speaks only in capitalized letters, as is demonstrated by his badge and profile descriptions. He speaks in a slightly cryptic manner with lots of enthusiasm although he isn't very talkative to begin with. Regarding his mental state, TwistedThorey definitely has a level of insanity to him with the obsession and confusion surrounding his identity crisis. This was after he had apparently forgotten who he was in the past, which has been hinted as him being a criminal.

Due to being the puzzle creator and sole architect of the tower, he must have a high level of intelligence to develop the electrical components and the construction of the tower. He could also be considered a Mechanical Genius because of these feats as well.

Game

Twisted's Tower

Twisted's Tower takes place in an enclosed town with a graveyard of 'Collaboration!' members and a tall tower as the main landmark. There are often hangouts here with hunters and occasionally TwistedThorey following the overall revamp to the myth in 2022. The mechanics have a simple button and lever system for progression, as well as a few chat triggers too for additional secrets.

When the players spawns into the game, their screen will depict a gray world as it slowly turns colorful and the player seemingly aligns with reality. Firstly, there will be a small graveyard covered with some verdant nature. There are five head stones belonging to G0Z, DrMosen, Jewk, Mulberries, and TwistedThorey; all fellow 'Collaboration!' members. Taped to Twisted's grave is a note reading, "Death is not real. These are just for show." Next to this on the railing is radio with two dials, with the red one being clickable. This shall open the front gates to the giant tower ahead. However, the player may instead choose to continue to the door of the building on the left and say, "Dignity". This will bring the player to an old "TwistedThorey's Tower".

If the player enters the tower, they will be put into a more immersed state with different background music for each floor the player reaches. They should also be rewarded the "ENTRY" badge from reaching the beginning. For the first floor, there should be a lever and a red light which shows there is no power to the lever. The player will have to find an open book on the shelf with a black button to activate the power and pull the lever. This should open the hatch to the next floor. There is also a mannequin with SmileyGuest's hat near the entrance. Next, they need to activate the button on the chest of a mannequin to move another to the side and reveal another button. Floor three simply has a button on the side of a bookshelf and then a lever on the balcony. The fourth has a bunch of TwistedThorey mannequins surrounding a mannequin with a bright, yellow head with a button. This can be assumed to be Father Sun. There is also a black book on the floor with the "SUN" logo on it, which reappears throughout the tower. There is also an open book on the ground from TwistedThorey; questioning his identity. "THE REAL BEGINNING" badge is obtained here.

The player must continue by climbing up railings, ladders, boxes, elevators, and windows until they reach the final layer of the floor. Underneath the upside down table by the lever is the button, which will bring down another piece of floor as an elevator. "12/12/12 The only date I can remember" is also written on the ceiling. This next floor will cause the view to be foggy and there will be another button for the following elevator. They will arrive in a open room with two layers and a balcony where a mannequin of Twisted sits. On the left of the doorway, "There's only so much after this. So why don't you rest a while? You can't turn back now. You've gotten too far. Just know the entire time. He was watching." is written on the wall. On one of the dining tables on the second layer is a lezus commemorate. Outside on the balcony, there should be another lever which will lower the railing and make make the mannequin adjustable to reveal a button underneath. The player also achieved, "ALMOST TO THE TOP", from this floor. This will teleport them to the final room that contains a close together library. The phrases, "I am the villain", and "The top leads to nothing", are written on top some bookcases. The amount of words in these two phrases will need to be counted to get nine. Additionally, there is a note left on a chair from someone to Twisted regarding his following of Father Sun, and the visitation from SmileyGuest. There is another book within this room that has some text but most importantly, "M+L+C=?". Using this, the player should count the objects that begin with those letters. This should be mannequins, ladders, and chairs which total to fourteen. These two numbers will have to be said separately in chat as "nine" and "fourteen" to lower the elevator to the final floor. Finally, the player must say "2012" to raise it back up. This will bring them to TwistedThorey's office where there are writing across the walls and objects along with the Circus in the Sky symbols. "Leave me alone" is written multiple times on each mannequin and "Is it my fault? Did I do this to myself? I don't know anymore. I will never know." is on the wall. The player will also be awarded the "WHERE TO NEXT?" badge.

Twisteds Tower.

Twisteds Tower is the original version of Twisted's Tower, created in early 2012. Very little is known about the early history of this game, due to it not having been archived. It is known that the game was somewhat popular early on, and was one of the myths featured in the first Robloxian Myth Hunters logo. This game would eventually be replaced as TwistedThorey's main game, upon the creation of the modern version of Twisted's Tower.

It takes place in a large white void, with a single stone tower located in the middle of it. This tower has an old door at the bottom, a large window, a large letter T painted red, with vines surrounding it, and a white man standing at the top of the tower[1]. This man has the "Age of Exploration" hat, meaning it is likely meant to be Twisted. When the player spawns, they are standing in front of the door at the bottom of the tower, on an invisible plate. This plate is not very large and is easy to fall off of if the player is not careful. If the player walks to their left, they will find a second plate which is higher up. If the player walks around the tower on this plate, they'll reach the back, where there is a truss. Notably, below the tower is an invisible brick which will play the sound of witch laughing when the player falls. The reasoning for this sound is unknown.

When the player has reached the top of the truss, they can jump onto the top of the tower, where TwistedThorey is standing. A sound which is akin to a scream will play when the player touches the roof, once again the reasoning for this is unknown. This appears to be it for the game, but if the player says the code "Dignity" in the chat, the tower will begin glowing red, and will explode. This comes with the message "You have gained too much knoladge, be gone! -TwistedThorey". This is the end of the game.

This game is actually accessible through the modern version of Twisted's Tower, by saying the code "Dignity" at the spawn and entering the door on the left of the courtyard.

TwistedThorey's Place Number: 3 (unavailable)

TwistedThorey's Place Number: 3 is the game believed to have been used to host a canceled TwistedThorey game from 2018. This game, which has very little information about it, was briefly developed in mid 2018, by TwistedThorey, Anevius, littlebird78, iAounic and CorvusIII[2]. There are only two known images of the game, one of which showing a close up of a graveyard, with the graves of TwistedThorey and Annie Martin visible[3]. The second image is a zoomed out view of the map, with a rotating building seen on a floating island above the graveyard[4]. This game was tweeted about a few times by Twisted, as well as once by G0Z[5]. One tweet featured a link to the TwistedThorey's Place Number: 3 game, which is why it is believed to have been the place used to host the new experience[6].

Groups

Twisted Thorey

Twisted Thorey is a group made and named after TwistedThorey on 7/23/2018. There is barely any content to this group as it really only acts as a support group, but it maintains a gradual increase in members unlike a few other 'Collaboration' related support groups. It has six ranks from "X" to "TWIST", yet only CorvusIII and SmileyGuest are ranked higher than the first rank. The description of the group contains the quote, "You've gained too much knowledge, be gone!", from his old game.

Collaboration!

TwistedThorey is one of the many notorious collaborators to this myth collaboration group, with the majority of his friends relating back to this group. Although, he doesn't post much content or interact with the group profile, he can often be found hanging around other collaborators and is referenced occasionally in some games. This typically comes in the form of his hat laying around or on a mannequin. This group relationship also extends to his game to where he has included a few references to the same members.

Relationships

SmileyGuest

SmileyGuest apparently is "A gift from the sun" who was sent to TwistedThorey's tower either as a gift from someone involved with this Father Sun ideology, or a visitor Twisted has been ordered to ignore. This confusion comes from his red hat but SmileyGuest is most likely just a mannequin gifted to TwistedThorey. There is a mannequin with his red hat at the bottom of the tower but besides this, there has been no other appearances of him nor instances of recorded information.

Father Sun

Father Sun appears to be an entity from The Circus In The Sky who TwistedThorey follows in terms of religious belief. Despite him presenting this to those he needs to, he actually has high doubts regarding the sun and believes it is "nothing but a lie in the sky". There is also a dark book with a symbol printed onto the cover that serves as a religious text. This character does not belong to any Roblox account.

CorvusIII

CorvusIII was a developer and good friend of TwistedThorey's during 2018, until TwistedThorey went inactive and CorvusIII was banned from Roblox. They do not seem to take parts in each others stories but have definitely been referenced. An example is an overgrown headstone with "CorvusIII" on it, within Twisted's Tower.

Theories

  • Twisted seems to be the cause of Father Sun. It looks like Father Sun forced them into this role for some reason and now they are stuck with this role and job for eternity.
    • TBD

Trivia

  • In "Twisted's Tower" there are a few books that have a mysterious symbol on their covers.
    • This mark is actually called "SUN". You can see it in Twisted's Decals, it is the Father Sun symbol from Circus in the Sky! in which Twisted makes an appearance as one of the original gravestones.
  • TwistedThorey often reuses phrases and codes from the past such as: "You have gained too much knowledge, be gone!", "Dignity", and "nine fourteen". Each has been used in the older version of "Twisted's Tower" and either the new version or group.
  • TwistedThorey is friended to many renowned myths like DavidCult and Daelron, and has played myth games such as The Double R Bar and Holoville. Additionally, he has completed the five monument myths to 'Monuments'.
  • The "12/12/12" date is a reference to another myth, Lezus, as he was saying that Roblox will end on that day.
    • It is also the day when Twisted made his first shout on Robloxian Myth Hunters.
      • The shout: "Haha...Did you really think that KID would do anything?....12/12/12 was mine, it wasnt mean to hack...It was my retrurn.....My new dammm begining. Myths arent allways what they seem to be."
