Kazdam is known to be arguably the most infamous individual in the history of all the myth community, due to him being in mid 2020 accused of heinous actions (see Controversy/Drama) and additionally for his former ownership of the Shadelight myths, as well as a long list of other myths. Despite his notorious reputation, Kazdam has been one of the most influential figures in the myth community's history, who has defined and made much of the myth community and its culture into what it is today, also being a figurehead of the myth community's golden age and playing a key role in the myth community's popularity on Roblox.

History

Kazdam originally joined Roblox on the account "evilthunderguy" on November 9th, 2010. He was quite active within the ROBLOX war community. After his account was banned, He joined on a new account by the name of evilthunderguy1 on April 17th, 2012. Between the years of 2012 and 2014, he started to learn about Roblox myths. On May 25th, 2014, he founded the group, Roblox's Myths. As the years went by, the group grew to be the biggest Roblox myth hunting group within the community. In mid-August, 2020, Kazdam had to step down from his role in the myth community, due to his freshly surfaced scandalous and controversial actions.

On January 19th, 2024, Kazdam went online, providing the following statement: "I saw my credentials and it brought back bad memories, so I decided to log on, take a look around, and will likely delete as much as I can and move on for good." He would then go on to state that he is a different person now and that he wishes the best for the community.^[1] He later gave access to MartinCult to an anonymous member of the Cult Family and supposedly logged off for the last time.

Controversy/Drama

Kazdam is by far one of the most controversial users in the myth community, due to various allegations over his career, both against and from him. Early on, he was often criticized for ideas that he created several popular myths in his group Roblox's Myths. These ideas would eventually be confirmed, by himself and others who knew him.^[2] The only myths that were confirmed to be Kazdam's were SubjectPyro, most of the Shadelight myths, other legends such as Smile (Black) and Nims, although both of these are slightly derivative from pre-existing myths. He also owned MartinCult in the latter half of its lifespan, which according to the previous owner, was gained through manipulation.^{[citation needed]}Lastly, he also owned the AkramCult account.

Kazdam's first major drama would occur in July 2018. Following a dispute between Louyen and Morgenne, Louyen exposed Morgenne to Kazdam. This involved allegations of pedophilia, catfishing, and manipulation due to Morgenne claiming he was a girl. It would later be revealed that only the catfishing allegation was true, but Kazdam was not aware of this. This led to Kazdam making an announcement over Discord on July 19th, 2018, renouncing Morgenne's rank as a myth in his group, as well as for owning the account "MrLonelyVoiceCracks", which was formerly private information.^[3] This led to immediate outrage and shock from many in the community. Many would start taking sides in this debacle, with some harassing and unfriending Morgenne, while others would come to their defense. Those against Kazdam would begin using the "#stopkazdam" hashtag on Twitter, with the goal of forcing Kazdam to abdicate and/or to start drama within RM, forcing members and myths to leave the group. This led to Morgenne's retirement from the myth community; eventually, most of these allegations, apart from the catfishing ones, would be cleared.

Later, in August 2020, Kazdam's downfall would begin. This began when a high-ranking member of Roblox's Myths, HallowsFog, would show user baddiebIood a confrontation between HallowsFog, taphies (another high-ranking RM member), and Kazdam. baddiebIood would then make a twitter post showing multiple screenshots from this confrontation^[4]. This confrontation contained allegations of Kazdam grooming taphies and Kazdam seemingly admitting to it. On the same day, taphies and HallowsFog would create their own tweets, including more images of Kazdam admitting to grooming and even apologizing to taphies.^[5][6] Despite this, Kazdam would respond to the allegations publicly by first creating an announcement post in RM, stating he would be making a public statement about the drama. Later that day, he created a document titled "The Drama." This document was deleted soon after publishing, but an archive was created^[7]. In response to this document, Taphies would create their own document the next day, with multiple image receipts of interactions between Kazdam and other users, where Kazdam would expose himself further. This included evidence of Kazdam grooming at least three underage girls, abusing his former girlfriend, manipulating and lying to friends and the public, as well as defending pedophilia.^[8]

In the aftermath of this, Roblox's Myths would fall apart, with several admins abusing their powers, massive random demotions and promotions, the Discord being nuked^[9], and RM's games being raided. The attack was led by Mugen, crowIess, HallowsFog, taphies, baddiebIood, Foxicarus, and support from Grease Gang to tear RM apart. The RM Discord was nearly completely destroyed, alongside the group ranks being messed up. The Security & Reception departments disbanded while the DFR was taken out by Kazdam.

In the aftermath of all of this, Kazdam would resign in disgrace, and would confirm the allegations thrown against him. Despite all this, he still tried to cling to power after it was proven that he attempted to regain access to RM through SenseiViny, and he refused to hand over the MartinCult account, causing the other members of the Cult Family to start a new group. Eventually, the modern Cult Family would get their hands on the Martin and AkramCult accounts; according to the site owner's update, ownership of Shadelight has since been removed from Kazdam and transferred to new owners whose identities are not public.

Appearance

He has a wide array of outfits, some he wears based on mood, but generally Kazdam wears a Black Overcoat, Black Overcoat Bottom, an accompanying "Off The Chain Style" top hat, Steampunk Shades, Trecky Hair, and Serious Scar Face face. He also brandishes the Captain Steelshanks Recruiting Staff which he uses as a cane while in the Roblox's Myths Containment Facility.

Personality and Traits

Kazdam was described as ambitious and determined to develop RM. He usually let his Director do most of the administrative work, due to his Laissez-faire type leadership, whilst still upholding his job. On some other rare occasions, Kazdam would fool around on his Discord server by pinging everyone, and having random conversations with others.

Following the public disclosure of his actions, Kazdam transitioned from a prominent figure to one of the most widely condemned individuals within the myth community. Investigations revealed a pattern of unethical conduct and interpersonal mistreatment that occurred privately. As a result of these findings, he has been effectively ostracized, losing most professional standing and community support.

• Kazdam has confirmed that he is a legal adult (22 years of age) and not 13, as many have speculated.
• He takes admiration in History and the HBO television show Game of Thrones.
• Kazdam takes a lead antagonist role in MUGEN game Burn Kazdam's Shade Shack
• Roblox's Myths took inspiration from the SCP Foundation, which many of Kazdam's early myth genre forum posts were also themed after.
• There are some rumors said that he is SethSmiIes. This has confirmed to be false as a joke that he made on his Twitter account.
• Kazdam owned an alt account called Kazdammit which is dressed up like Darth Vader and one called Kazdamn, both have been stolen & password guessed alongside other alternative accounts he owned.
• Kazdam used to run a Star Wars Confederacy type clan group named Imperial Seperatist Empire.
• MisterEhx, an account belonging to Kazdam that accepted RM owner baddiebIood's friend request in early 2023, was confirmed to be hacked into in January 2024.
• The name "Ian Brendan Anderson", which many believe is Kazdam's actual name, has been confirmed to have been an inside joke among those who exposed him, and is not his actual name.
