According to the site owner's update, ownership of Shadelight has been removed from Kazdam and transferred to new owners. The current owners' identities are not public.

Biography

He lures children to his game "paradise" and brings them to his game, asylum. He proceeds to track them. Rumors have it that numerous people have disappeared because of this user.

Ulifer is also well known for being the third Shadelight key myth hunters are currently stuck on.

One of the most notable that have fallen vulnerable to his supposed IP Grabbing was Enszo, a popular myth hunter, after they were both in game and Ulifer asked Enszo if he lived in France, which was correct. However this is widely believed to have had been public information at the time and it was also shown on Enszo's Skype account at the time.

Ulifer is an unconfirmed asylum escapist, pedophile/child molester/rapist, and a criminally insane citizen of France, likely Paris and or the surrounding area. He IP tracks children to keep them "safe", likely for his own personal pleasure.

Ulifer only takes in those that appeal to his level of "fun" by playing twisted games with children.

History

Ulifer was created on the 1st of August, 2015. Ulifer's original game "asylum" was created on August 1st, and is known to have featured in a video by the user "badLolfunnykiller" on the same day as it's creation, although this video has since been privated.^[1][2] On the same day, Ulifer would be mentioned in Kazdam's "Roblox's Myths - FIles A - Z" forum post.^[3] In this post, Ulifer was listed as a myth under the "U" tab. A day later, Kazdam would upload an entire forum post solely about Ulifer. In this post, Kazdam would describe Ulifer's story, and the various "incidents" revolving around him.^[4] This post also described Ulifer's "containment procedure", and extra notes relating to him. After this, it is known that Ulifer was ranked in Roblox's Myths, as he was featured in Roblox's Myths HQ from July 2015.^[5]

In 2016, two more videos of Ulifer's game were uploaded.^[6][7] These videos are the only known mentions of Ulifer during 2016 apart from two reposts of the aforementioned forum posts, and multiple comments on those. At some point, a new version of Asylum would be created. The exact day of creation is unknown, but it is known to have happened after July 24th, 2016, and before December 3rd, 2017. This game was seemingly private, as the only known documentation of this game comes from two unlisted videos by Universities.^[8][9] On December 14th, 2017, ClockJpg mentioned that "asylum" had been updated. At the time, the game was titled "new haven", and was seemingly private. On December 20th, 2017, Ulifer created two games, titled "lost" and "happy birthday" respectively.

After this, on January 13th, 2018, Ulifer would make a new game to host asylum, as the previous place file was used to host "paradise".^[10] On the 22nd of January, a video of UberHaxor561 and badLolfunnykiller in "asylum" with Ulifer was uploaded to Uber's YouTube channel.^[11] The first recording of "paradise" comes from January 30th, 2018, when Roblox user "pokemon14235" uploaded a video of the game.^[12] In February, this same user would upload more videos of the game. During the same month, myth hunter DSiPoints would upload a video, in which they played "asylum" with Ulifer.^[13] Five months later, on June 26th, Flamingo uploaded his video on Shadelight, which included Ulifer. This video showcased both "paradise", and the unreleased version of "asylum".^[14]

Later on July 12th, Flamingo would upload his video "I went into his disturbing Roblox basement...".^[15] This video focused on Chuck_Lloyd, although it also featured another glimpse at the "asylum" game by Ulifer. This time, the game was more completed, featuring a more complete map and a dark, dreary aesthetic.

Sometime after this, Ulifer would private his games, later replacing "paradise" with "asylum". This supposedly happened after a hunter said they'd find Ulifer's key to Shadelight, although this is unconfirmed.^[16] The original Ulifer storyline became inactive in 2020.

Appearance

Ulifer's current appearance consists of a fully white avatar, with the "Steampunk" shirt and pants. He also wears the "Scary Larry" hat, the "Brown Riding Hood" hat, and the "Smile" face.

Personality and Traits

He is extremely hostile to and targets children under the age of 16. He is very mysterious, as he always speaks in cryptic language. He mostly talks to people like they are a part of a poem or a song. His manipulative, "friendly", and intelligent behavior can easily lure and leave hunters in confusion.

He is also interested in the arts. He is a very protective and determined person when tracking down a new "friend". Ulifer also is quiet around myth hunters. He toys with them and kills them in his game. He is also very cunning and greedy, only wanting to seek for new preys whenever he wants to but gets angered quickly when he doesn't get what he wants or needs.

Ulifer's actions mostly speak for themselves, when he slowly approaches a new victim, manipulates hunters or a child, or lures them somewhere, most of his movements are unpredictable as well.

Games

asylum (unavailable)

"asylum" is Ulifer's original game. It was initially created on August 1st, 2015, and has undergone several revisions of the years. The asylum is where Ulifer grew up and lives, and is where his life began. His code for the Shadelight door is also supposedly in asylum. The modern version of the game contained five rooms, one of which was known to have been completed. This room contained three beds, three windows, a wheel chair, and a radio. The game is very dark, with it only being lit up by occasionally by ceiling lamps or through outside light, shined in through windows. In Flamingo's video, other rooms were visited. In one room, a body can be see hanging through the ceiling, as Ulifer looks at it. On the wall it said: "Not in cruelty.

Not in wrath.

The REAPER came today.

An ANGEL visited

. this gray path.

And took the cube away."

In another, a room with three windows, a bed, and a mysterious person could be found, which would disappear when approached. In the second to last room, a teddy bear can be found. Initially, this bear was just on the floor, but in a later update it was placed inside of a crib, and the sounds of crying babies were added.^[15] At the end of the corridor, a final room is found, in which the player can see a single bed. This version of asylum used to be accessible to Ulifer's friends via happy birthday. However, the game used to access happy birthday as well as asylum was made private for unknown reasons. The archived version of the game remained unfinished when the original storyline became inactive.

In earlier versions of the game, the asylum varied in size and in content, although they all shared a similar aesthetic. The first version was just a long corridor with a room at the end. This room contained a chair, sink, bed, and a photo of the Mona Lisa. The version created in 2017 consisted of an asylum with three sections. One section seemed to contain a dining table, the second seemingly contained a dead body, being shined on by two spot lights. The third contained several cells, with letters above the doors.^[17][18]

paradise (unavailable)

"paradise" used to Ulifer's main game during 2018, prior to it being privated and replaced by asylum. Upon joining, the player would find themselves standing in the middle of a french town, with the Eiffel tower being visible in the distance, as well as a church. The town consisted of five buildings, including a larger building with a courtyard. This building could be accessed by saying "La vie en noir". Upon entering the building, the player would be sent to "happy birthday". Below the main platform where the player could walk, two smaller areas can be found. In one, Ulifer standing in front of a painting can be seen, alongside a fisherman. The second however, doesn't feature anything of note. Apart from these things, nothing of note can be found in this game.

happy birthday (unavailable)

"happy birthday" is a sub-game which can be accessed via "paradise". Upon joining, the player would be standing in front of a table with a birthday cake.^[19] If the player walks to the left of this, they'll find a corridor lit up by candles. Walking down this corridor, the player will be met by piles and piles of skeletons, leading up to the end. At the end of the hallway, a sewer tunnel can be found. Walking up to the hallway would teleport you to asylum, although this game was friends-only. The only other way to join is if you were invited by Ulifer.

lost (unavailable)

lost is another game created by Ulifer in December 2017. This game is said to be where SolomonGrundee was kept when he was taken by Ulifer. A February 2018 development screenshot showed an unreleased version of the game. The screenshot depicted a crime scene on the "lost" place file. This game ended up never releasing, and the plans for the game were likely changed after SolomonGrundee was taken.

Goldity

Goldity is Ulifer's master, it is rumored that Goldity helps Ulifer lure in children, although this has never been confirmed.

Terroah

Terroah greatly dislikes Ulifer, likely because of their different views of children.

Chuck_Lloyd

Chuck_Lloyd thinks of Ulifer as an awful man, calling him a "Child Murderer", and has said before that they shouldn't have trusted the "The Long-nosed One".

Masqueraze

Masqueraze is related to Ulifer by the Shadelight myth, no interactions have been recorded, although it is known that Masqueraze knows of Ulifer.
