The Unknown Myths Of Roblox (Also known as UMOR) was the second most popular group in the "Myth Museum" genre next to Myths of ROBLOX. The group was founded by SpiyxI, and is currently owned by JimmyGooberr, an account belonging to Conn0rYT and 000XTR, aka Damaxia. It was the most active myth museum at the time, gathering 36.3k visits. The group allowed smaller myths to submit applications to earn a statue in the museum and gain some attention.

History
Before the group's creation, the game was created under SpiyxI's profile on January 1st, 2022. 5 days later, the group was created by the user InfiniteProximities on behalf of SpiyxI, who ownership would be transferred to that same day.
The game has progressed through 6 different museums in it's lifespan. The first museum gained little attention, peaking at 1.8k views. The most popular myth that paid attention to the small group was by the myth downrest. The main criticism of this game was the large amount of free models used.
The second museum was an abstract style museum where you cross islands to get to other locations. This was when the first volunteer work started in UMOR with the hiring of J1nxxer. This improved the look of the game. There isn't much known about the climate and community of the group at the time but it is thought to have been relatively small. this museum introduced UMOR's mascot "bob" who is a white circle with the forcefield material and a face. This museum amassed 1.2k visits, a notable downgrade from the first museum. Due to this poor success, UMOR development ceased for 4 months. During this break, J1nxxer left to persue other projects.
on 5/24/22 SpiyxI was motivated by MaHmUTSvNc to continue working on the project. a user volunteered named spectactlozm to help with the project. This museum exploded UMOR's popularity to around 250 members in their group. This museum is notable for it's large amount of statues added and how it opened up an opportunity for the group to explode. This started the trend of seeing the group mascot as somewhat of a god. There was a dedicated room to pray to him. To the right of him is a wall full of fanart made by community members. It also marked the creation of the community discord server still used today. Some myths picked up traction off of this museum, such as StephenArcher.
At an unknown date, SpiyxI created a new museum under the Unknown Myths Of Roblox group that would become the most popular museum to this date. The game is set in a forest with a long hallway that, at the end, features a smaller hallway with myth hunters. craciunfericit11 (AKA Mark or Marchlor), StephenArcher, and hierogIyphical (AKA Pyro or now Rational) volunteered to work for UMOR. As summer hit, the game exploded easily getting thousands of visits. achieving at least 20k visits throughout it's lifespan. The community florished as developers regularly interacted with the community in game. They hosted sword fights, Avatar contests, and generally admins messing around with people. Despite some finding it annoying, the group exploded because of it due to users staying in-game for long periods of time. Major criticism of this museum mainly included it's shocking similarity to Myths of ROBLOX's museum. Later, they hired TheReal_Meji. Meji quickly ranked up to co-owner of the group. He was known to be incredibly professional which many developers and people in the community did not like. Near the end of the museum's lifetime, OneDumbDuck and TheFatherEye volunteered to help. Development of a new museum was slow as they planned for it to be high quality. they ran through several ideas, such as a castle museum, a gas station museum, a snow museum, until then revisiting the first museums idea of an abstract island landscape.
Hieroglyphical and OneDumbDuck noticed the decline of UMOR's engagement and did not like how it was being run, The issue was Meji. They then proposed Meji to be removed from his role and an an election take place. The nominees Were OneDumbDuck and Hieroglyphical, It ended with duck winning the position of Co-Owner, 13-28. I was later revealed that both sides attempted to change votes of others, which is not considered rigging but some people may frown upon it. Duck would stay as Co-Owner until being replaced by DOGCORPSEY2K on November 5th, 2023, making him the longest running Co-Owner. Besides a one week period in February 2023 when the co owner position changed hands 3 times, going to SirChillChad, Luther and CHEESEisBURNT, Duck would regain his role as Co-Owner after roughly one month had passed.
A couple months before the holidays, UMOR began development of the museum. Eventually releasing it during the holiday season. It was praised for it's high quality building and good scripting, Unfortunately, a copy of this museum was unable to ever be found, So not much is known about it. We do know that at this time the growth began to slow down for the group as summer ended.
Quickly afterwards, UMOR hired a large development team and created the current museum available today. They revisited the gas station idea. The map contains of a small gas station surrounded by a large city. Across the street from the gas station is an even smaller merchandise store where you can buy clothing made by the group. This museum secured their status as a semi-popular myth hunting group. It has picked up attention from many groups and gathered many supporters. During this time, They were nominate in the 2022 Community Wiki Awards for Myth Hunting Group Of The Year, they partnered with MythWear to produce UGC, allied with many popular groups, and their list of things they plan to do keeps growing.
On March 17th, 2024, Spiyxl announced the shutdown of UMOR, the group was then purchased by Damaxia for 5k Robux and immediately sold to Conn0rYT for a profit, during this time the Co-Owner, SirChillChad, would be ranked down to the role "-Spixyl Era-" and 000XTR/Damaxia, a friend of Conn0r's, would become Co-Owner.
On May 5th, 2024, Members of UMOR started to Pester/Annoy Conn0rYT which led to the group to fall into deep chaos with Conn0rYT revealing his true intentions that were to ruin the group at the beginning but were postponed due to his view of the group not being dead once he acquired it, he changed the description, group icon, game icon, uncopylocked games, etcetera, causing the group's members to leave in mass. Conn0r would then distance himself from the group, transferring ownership to a now deleted account called JimmyGooberr.

Leadership

SpiyxI was the founder, and owner of The Unknown Myths Of Roblox from January 1st 2022, through to March 17th, 2024, when the group would be sold to Damaxia and then to Conn0rYT. Conn0r would only run the group until May 5th, 2024, when competition arose from SirChillChad and Voxel_Vibez, leading Conn0r to transfer the group to a now deleted account, JimmyGooberr.
-Co-Owner-
OneDumbDuck was the longest running Co-Owners of UMOR, and a trusted friend of Spiy's. Duck would only be replaced on November 5th, 2023, when DOGCORPSEY2K was given the role. DOG was only with UMOR briefly but played a huge role in reforms to the way the group operated. On December 8th, 2023 SirChillChad would be made Co-Owner by Spiy as per DOG's last request. When Conn0rYT acquired the group he would appoint 000XTR/damaxia to the role.
-The Council-
The Council was a collective of administrators and game developers chosen by Spiyxl to help manage the group. The council was first pitched to Spiyxl by SirChillChad on February 14th, 2023 and was established on the 17th with SirChillChad, OneDumbDuck and Naamah being given the rank the following day. Following Conn0r's acquisition of the group the rank was renamed to Spiyxl Era, SirChillChad is the only member who holds this rank.
