私をほっといて... (Leave me alone...)— KuruttaKise
KuruttaKise is a recognized myth, known for their extensive storylines and skillful scripting included within the games. They’re connected to a larger group known as “Home of the Unstable" which expands upon the stories of the other characters, known as MonikaAkari and RivenCharlotte. Kise has been interpreted as a ghost who travels through the harsh memories of his school and the death of his brother.
Biography
KuruttaKise is a student attending Subara Tadano High School, residing in a decently sized Japanese town. Throughout Kise's life, he had faced a multitude of hardships, inflicted by the local residents. These challenges included enduring harassment and assaults from fellow students, as well as mistreatment and hostility from the townspeople. As a result, Kise found it challenging to form meaningful connections with anyone beyond their nine-year-old brother, Hikaru.
One night, two boys from Kise's high school cornered them in an alleyway, with intentions of assaulting him. Around the same time, Hikaru was involved in a car accident and was sent to the hospital due to his fatal conditions. The timing of these events prevented Kise from reaching the hospital in time to be with Hikaru during his final moments. KuruttaKise holds deep resentment towards the two boys, believing that they directly prevented them from being by his little brother's side when he took his last breath. A monster-like figure of which takes on the appearance of Kise follows shortly behind Kise after Hikaru's death. Whether this was an interpretation of Kise or a demonic entity influencing him is unknown.
Consumed by overwhelming rage, Kise returns to their school and takes the lives of the two boys within the school's hallways. After regaining control of his anger, Kurutta retreats to a basement of a building, gripped by fear. It is at this moment that Kurutta encounters Hikaru's cherished teddy bear. Through this, Kurutta is reunited with his younger brother but by an unnamed deer-like creature with more malicious intentions.
Dr. Riven Charlotte, who attended to Hikaru at the time of his passing, later records in a diary entry that Kise frequently appears in their hallucinations, often intertwined with visions of the mysterious deer-like entity. Following this was another discovery from the HU Centre, which was that Luctus had conjured a false reality in Kise's consciousness. In this fantasy, Hikaru had never died and they sit together in a café booth. In reality, however, Kise is left dead in a chair behind the café.
History
KuruttaKise’s account was created on June 27, 2021, with their game, “Street H”, being created just three days after. As expected, there was minimal development to the overall account when it was first created for hunters to investigate. Therefore, KuruttaKise joined RMH Myth Development to further expand their abilities and learn more about progressing as a myth. This humble start was slow for the first month, but it helped them become notable among active users in this group. Around the end of June, KuruttaKise went inactive in RMD up until the 17th of August 2021. At this point, “Street H” was seemingly published under the defunct name, “School”. This changed the following day, along with continuous activity from Kise for months. Hunts were occasionally hosted by, most notably, Robloxian Myth Hunters, where showcases of “Street H” came as a result. The “Home of the Unstable” Discord server was also publicized after the game’s release.
Both Robloxian Myth Hunters and RMH Myth Development were the main myth hunting groups KuruttaKise would interact with, especially after receiving the “Upcoming Myth” rank in RMD on 9/4/2021. Success within these groups pursued through achieving “Myth of the Week”, “Qualified Myth” on 10/23/2021, and then eventually the “Best Scripting” award in the 2022 RMD Myth Awards.
On September 29th, 2021, KuruttaKise released a massive update to “Street H” that brought it near completion. This update was said to have contained the cutscenes within the hospital portion of the game. Another apparent update was made the next time which finished Chapter 1 of the “Home of the Unstable”. Therefore, development for MonikaAkari had begun. It wasn’t until December 5th, 2021, KuruttaKise would create the “Home of the Unstable” group to formally connect himself and those related. Much later down the line, after frequent investigations and interaction with groups, KuruttaKise became recognized around much of the myth community. They reached the “Established Myth” rank in RMH on 6/11/2022, and then “Popular Myth” on 1/22/2023. ”Street H” achieved ten-thousand visits sometime around the middle of May 2023, causing an event to be held at the “HU Centre” place. A final cutscene involving Kise is made available here showing the aftermath of “Street H” and future story points of other chapters. KuruttaKise remains semi-active within both Roblox and their Discord server.
Appearance
KuruttaKise’s appearance consists of the “” shirt, “Black Slacks” pants, “Black Anime Hair”, the “Slouchy Beanie in Total Darkness” hat and “Stare” face. The appearance of his skin is white. This outfit depicts them as a normal student who attends a highschool or college.
Personality and Traits
KuruttaKise has been depicted throughout “Street H” as an individual who likes to keep to himself or has trouble interacting with others in a likable manner. The backlash for this has evidently made them depressed, but well enough to take care of himself and Hikaru. This behavior changed after the crucial event that was the death of his brother, causing him to become a rage-filled murderer for a moment, only to be followed by a regretful and scared kid. When interacting with hunters, in game, he acts as a ghost repeating the actions he committed in the past. During this, KuruttaKise will not react to anyone that tries to obstruct him in any way. To clarify, he would basically go through the entirety of “Street H”, or their memories in specific, and talk about things he should’ve done in the past. On Discord, KuruttaKise behaved like a normal person who showcased their work and helped others with development advice.
Game
Street H
KuruttaKise's game, "Street H" is the first game in the Home of the Unstable series. This explores Kurutta's traumatic childhood experiences and how it caused him to become a revenge-seeking monster. This place uses simple mechanics of exploring and finding specific items to complete objectives and progress.
When spawning onto the street, the player will find themselves in a gloomy, desaturated park with few people around. Immediately, they will be presented with the objective to reach the large school across the street which is boarded by tall walls and an unpleasant gate. Of course, the gate is locked so the player must figure another way into the building. Following the wall to the right side will reveal a hole in what may be barbed wire. The player may climb over to gain access to the doors of the school, however, the doors are locked so an item is needed to open them. Additionally, along the wall that the player had entered from, they may find a book left by some ruble. Walking up to it will give them the ability to read it, which says: "This is where it happened. Dear lord, it was too late. Lately I've been experiencing a lot of strange hallucination. There is a man, a deer. Perhaps a hybrid. I'm going to see what I can find about this deer. Kise was in my hallucinations too, all before this had happened." The "DIARY" badge should also be obtained from doing this.
On the other side of the street from the school, there are two buildings. The first is a small grocery store that is closed for the time being. Although, there is a missing poster pasted on the side of the entrance. There is also a person laying down on the bench to the side of this grocery store and they can be spoken to, but all that will come from them is "...". Continuing to the next building, this place is open and presents a much more welcoming environment. A person sits outside listening to music but they say nothing of value. Heading inside will teleport the player to the café. Two others are around here with the first being MonikaAkari, who will ask the player to leave them alone. The second is Ms_Sadanika, another myth who is close friends with KuruttaKise. They will offer the player a glass of "Memories". If they explore the backroom, they should find a crowbar on the ground which can be taken back to the school.
Once inside the walls, the crowbar can be used on the shed's doors first. Among the storage boxes is an open one with a hammer that can be used to open the next set of doors to the school. After being teleported to "School", the player will find themselves on the first floor with a set of stairs and many locked doors. Underneath the flight of stairs is another open box, this time with a key. If they travel to the top floor, they will be able to use the key on one of the doors. Past this is a hallway past a classroom, where blood is mysteriously splattered across the floor leading to an open door. Entering this room will cause their view to be disoriented until they wake up in a room.
Following this, the player will be teleported to a destroyed version of the bedroom with an opening to it. Passing through there will cause the player to realize that they are in "Kise's memories", as they arrive on the street of an active neighborhood. A radio sits on the floor which will say: "Everyone hated him". Various interactable NPCs walk on the sidewalks as objects are floating in the air. At the end of the street is a door with a keypad next to it, implying it can be opened with a code. The NPCs all emit an insult directed towards KuruttaKise, however, one of them will eventually give the four-digit code needed to open the door. If they insert this, they will be met with a radio that states: "They bullied him, until one day", in the next area. Every structure in this area is locked beside the doors at the end. This will jump to a cutscene where two people are chasing KuruttaKise down the street. Finally, the phone that has been ringing in the background this whole time has appeared. Answering it depicts a call from the hospital to KuruttaKise informing them that their brother was in a car accident and has been taken there.
The next set of doors brings the player to an extremely long hospital hallway, eventually showing KuruttaKise waiting outside a room with a doctor, RivenCharlotte. There are two more radios on the path to here explaining Kise’s grief. If the player interacts with the doctor, they will see them informing Kise that their brother won’t make it, causing all of the lights to break and for a cutscene to play where a demonic version of KuruttaKise walks towards the camera, then, cutting to an image of the aftermath of them killing those at the school. This will be followed by a teleport to another place. However, the player should first take the teddy bear next to KuruttaKise.
If the teddy bear was grabbed, then it will come as an item in this game. This takes place inside a basement with KuruttaKise sitting against the wall. Many of the tools used before for breaking into the school are on the table and there is a chair with rope and blood surrounding it. There is also another radio on the desk which will say: “The item you needed to fill the hole in his heart, capable of creating worlds, his brother still lives inside his soul.” This is referring to the stuffed bear which can cause Kise to interact with the player if they walk in front of them. After noticing that it is their brother’s bear, their brother will appear as they both walk together to an amusement park. Unfortunately, they are still being watched by some demonic, deer creature.
Although this appears like a conclusion, it is not because the player will receive the teddy bear again in the main game where some sort of portal will open up on the street. Jumping into this will bring them to a graveyard. One of them is labeled, “Hikaru 1989-1998”. Planting the bear here will finally give the badge, “Door 1”. This appears to be the conclusion of Street H.
Group
Home of the Unstable
“Home of the Unstable” is the group KuruttaKise founded and owns with the purpose of connecting the members. Due to the inclusion of new members, much more effort was put into the support side of the group with there being active communication between investigators and KuruttaKise through the group wall and a Discord server.
Relationships
Hikaru
Hikaru is KuruttaKise’s little brother who had passed away from a car accident. Their relationship was especially caring, so this death completely broke Kise. However, Hikaru’s spirit stuck with their prized teddy bear, and when it was given to Kise by the player, Hikaru appeared in front of them again. After all the grief Kise went through, they felt comfort again because of his brother’s spirit.
MonikaAkari
MonikaAkari hasn’t interacted with KuruttaKise from what is unknown, however, Monika is seen sitting inside the coffee shop in “Street H”. They are assumed to be there because they are looking for either Kise or Hikaru, as one of the victims of Luctus. MonikaAkari does have KuruttaKise added as a friend through Roblox.
RivenCharlotte
RivenCharlotte is the third member of the Home of the Unstable, and is currently under development. Although also being friends with KuruttaKise, they do not appear to be close at all. They’ve only appeared in the hospital hallway with Kise as the doctor who informed him that Hikaru had passed away. Nothing else has come from this relationship besides possibly causing them to investigate Luctus.
Theories
- The crying woman at the bar in RivenCharlotte’s game, “Hospital V”, is KuruttaKise’s and Hikaru’s mother.
- The dialogue in “Hospital V” suggests that she is crying over a man who died while watching the news about someone dying at school. This may very well be the relative of one of Kise’s victims, but they stick out as if they are more important than someone who will appear one time.
- “Hospital V” is the same hospital that Hikaru had passed away at, therefore, she might be there to visit him late after his passing.
- There has been no mention of what happened to Kise’s parents or their role in taking part in the family at all. It is thought to be that their parents aren’t in the picture, but this doesn’t mean that they are dead.
- She has a similar appearance to the two children with the black hair and overall tired or sad way of carrying themself.
- The demonic version of KuruttaKise seen during the revenge scene after the hospital was the form of Luctus’ influence over Kise.
- Within “Church A”, it was hinted that Luctus was preying on either Kise or Hikaru to be one of their “children” for unknown reasons. However, it is obviously for evil tendencies which Kise committed. This was due to them being susceptible to influence after the tragic death of his brother.
- Alternatively, this may have been an interpretation of KuruttaKise leaving the hospital after they are filled with all the rage that it took them to murder the two boys.
- During “Street H”, the player is either playing through Kise’s memories the entire time as themselves or as Luctus.
- After the scene where the player wakes up from finding the bloody hallway in the school, they will start exploring Kise’s memories. This therefore confirms viewing other’s memories is possible, which raises the question of when did the memory of the hallway start during that entire time of breaking into the school.
- Either the player is viewing Kise’s memories following the wake up scene or they are viewing Kise’s memories the entire time.
- All the tools the player collected for breaking into the school are placed on a table in the basement scene, implying that KuruttaKise had used them. This may mean that the player was viewing Kise’s memory of breaking in at the beginning of the game.
- Instead of the player being an investigator with the ability to view other’s memories, it may be the antagonistic God, Luctus, who is seemingly after KuruttaKise as one of their “children”. They would do this for the purpose of manipulating Kise into helping them.
- This would also explain how Hikaru’s spirit was able to appear and be with Kise, and why Luctus is watching the two as they walk towards the city together.
- If the entirety of “Street H” was KuruttaKise’s memory, then MonikaAkari would’ve cared about meeting the player in the coffee shop instead of asking them to leave her alone. This is because after “Church A”, she was going to that place in search of him, or maybe Hikaru. This point counters the overall theory.
- After the scene where the player wakes up from finding the bloody hallway in the school, they will start exploring Kise’s memories. This therefore confirms viewing other’s memories is possible, which raises the question of when did the memory of the hallway start during that entire time of breaking into the school.
